My stay was great. My only complaint was not being provided a receipt when i checked out. Staff kept saying printer was broken..for days. Very unacceptable. I asked could it be emailed. And still no resolve or no receipt. Not knowing what my fees are, is really disturbing

Staying the whole weekend with 4 family members for a wedding. Checked in perfectly, and got the whole family to the room with all of our belongings to find no where to hang any clothes. No worries, we figured that part out. No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning, housekeeping will just use their card and attempt to make entry in your room while your asleep. The next day, I went to go get some more linen for the bathroom, and attendant at the front desk acted like I just disrupted her daily watching of the soap operas. She came off as very rude and giving half of what was asked for. On the morning of check out, no worries on setting an alarm, housekeeping proceeded to enter room again scaring the crap out of my kids. We decided it was just best to go ahead and leave because at this particular Holiday Inn Express, you are staying on their time not your own.

My only complaint was that we thought we needed an extra bed.. so they brought us one .. but the mattress had really bad stains.. actually horrible... And the mattress looks unclean and dirty. Of course we did not use it we willed it back outside in the hall... Luckily for us we didn't need it we use the sofa couch. But overall The experience there was great

While the room was renovated and clean, the plumbing and a/c unit were so incredibly loud that we got almost no sleep. We even brought a sound machine to use when we travel to help with hotel noise, but when the a/c came on or off or someone in the connecting rooms used the bathroom the noise would wake us up. It was so loud. The beds, also, were extremely firm and also made it hard to sleep.
The staff, especially the front desk, were very nice and friendly.

Ok...but missing the extra

This time we were on the 3rd floor..it wasnt nearly as nice. It was a bigger room but it felt like it was missing something. It was supposedly a suite, but had no real separation to make it a suite. It was just a bigger room. A little on the worn down side with tub paint peeling and floor was a bit dirty. There were only 3 towel sets when our reservation clearly stated 4 ppl were staying.

Nice but lacked a closet for hanging clothing. A hook was provided on the bathroom door and a note that new furniture was on order which included the closet. Staff was friendly and check in was smooth. Breakfast was fresh and good. Coffee not great a little strong. Rooms were clean as well as linen. Was in Brookhaven for a family funeral.

It was a GREAT stay. It was peaceful, clean, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was hot, yummy and the options were plentiful. The staff was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Despite renovations on the property, we were never hindered by that in any way nor was anything inconvenient or even unsightly. I'm a pretty harsh critic and i cannot find a single thing to complain about. Outstanding hotel.

I normally only leave good reviews for hotels but this one really just needs to have some things changed. I stayed for a week and noticed I only had the room clean once which is fine but I ran out of towels and on my last day the staff left my door open. I don’t know when they cleaned my room but I didn’t get back until 6:30pm after leaving at 6am and it was just wide open. Nothing was stolen thank goodness but it scared me really bad. I told the front desk lady but I wasn’t even sure what else to do. Also it’s just surface level cleaning in the room like there was hair all in the bathroom and just random stains everywhere.

Booked a suite for 5 people 6 months before arrival. Called week before to confirm. Drove 10 hours got to the property , no suites available. Front staff rude. Blamed Orbitz booking, seems to be a scam. By time you get to the property multiple suites have been sold and reality they do not have any available. Then your stuck getting a second room or roll out bed that doesn’t even fit in the room. Even more damning in the parking lot got on line and sure enough suite available, even through there were none. Very disappointing. And the staff and dirty room made it even worse. Only saving grace, the lady making breakfast was the nicest person and the food was good.

My family were attending a wedding in Brookhaven last weekend and my three daughters and other family stayed at the Holiday Inn. Based on reviews we thought it would be a ‘comfortable’ place to stay for a short visit - We were not expecting luxury - Hoping for cleanliness and not very old furnishings. Try he toilets only had the capability of being flushed every 20 minutes because of water pressure. A moldy smell in the rooms made my daughters feel ill. I don’t like to leave bad reviews however hoping to provide a service yo other travelers. Always hoping for fair and honest opinions myself when planning

Room wasn't ready when I got there. Had to sit in my car with my kids for 30-45 minutes after driving 7 hours. Also the website was misleading. The room was not as big as it showed on the website, the sofa was a chair, there was only 1 tv not 2; which one of the reasons I wanted the room was because I wanted 2 tvs and space in the room for my kids. The website show check out at 12 but when check in its 11, another reason I chose this hotel. Overall it was ok but the website need to be updated and staff should make sure rooms are ready for traveling guest.

I booked a suite for 6 of us to sleep and when I got here there wasn’t one available so we had to sleep cramped in a quiet room.. and the hotel said it was Expedia’s fault.. very dissappointing that a couple of people had to sleep on jail cots.. won’t never book through Expedia again

My check-in was quick and the young lady was nice. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But I stayed for two nights and we didn’t have enough towels for two days and housekeeping didn’t bring us any extra towels. On the last day, housekeeping knocked on the door at 9:00 a.m. I told her we were still in the room. She knocked again at 11:00 a.m. I told her we were in the room. I then received a phone call on the phone in the room from a rude young lady from guest services. She didn’t greet me and as soon as I picked up the phone she asked were we staying another day. I said no ma’am why do I ask that. She stated that check out was at 11:00 a.m. I said ma’am my booking information stated that check out was for 12:00 p.m. and she stated “no check out is for 11:00” I told her okay. It seemed odd to me because the sign in the lobby also stated that check out was for 12:00 p.m. the woman kept calling the room until we left. This was very unprofessional. If check out is now 11:00 a.m. they need to change their sign in their lobby and they need to update the time on this website. Other than that my stay was good.

Disappointed. I won’t stay here again. After a long wait to check in, we were put into a room where the tv did not work. Call the front desk. She said the cable man would have to come out. After being gone the whole next day we come back to the tv still not working. Called the front desk. This person moved us to another room. Turns out it wasn’t the cable at all but the tv.
Then the next room we were put in, the ac was very loud and we could here all the trucks entering the interstate. Didn’t sleep hardly at all that night. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible.
