Stayed 2 nights here. Staff super awesome. Friendly, efficient, helpful and welcoming. Staff are more than 5 stars!! Breakfast was included. Not a huge selection but good enough. There was congee, noodles, bread and fruits and omlette station. The only thing was the room was not that clean. Carpet had stains, bed skirt had stains. Bed sheet on 1 of the bed had some yellow spots. After telling the front desk staff, the bed sheet was switched right after. Overall it’s a very convenient area. Lots of shopping and food nearby.

Pros: hotel staff was amazing! We had an issue with our room and it was handled to our full satisfaction. A simple breakfast was provided and drinks/snacks available 24/7.

Con’s: the hotel is quite dated. The first room we had smelled damp and the beds were soft. Thanks to the hotel staff, we were moved to a room that did not smell damp and the beds were firm.

The hotel was closer to a 3.5/5 but we rounded up because of the staff.

I stayed here once many years ago with a very bad experience.. I stayed again this time thinking it should be better.. service maybe better, room has deteriorate auite a fair bit.. and hygiene with the towel, bed linen, may not be up to my requirements, which is very important. Shoutout to the 2 ladies who helped with the safe, I didn’t get your names but you render a great service.. apart from that, I regrets to say I may not stay here ever again

Overall very good. Great location and service. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Right next to Sogo, Watsons, and Family Mart. Close to Caligraphy Park and lots of places to eat nearby. They also have easy to use washer and dryer for NT50. Great place, will stay here again on our next trip, and recommend this hotel.

We booked a 12 night stay at this hotel over Christmas. Overall, the location is fantastic and the front desk staff are great. The staff tried its best to help me with any issues encountered.

The biggest negative with the hotel is the cleanliness and lack of amenities. The hotel room carpets are stained and windows look dirty which lead to an overall impression that the room isn't clean. I also saw a very large dead cockroach stuck to the exterior walls of the elevator shaft which was a huge turn-off for me.

The building the hotel is located is also shared with many different businesses. Which mean that non-hotel guests can access hotel room floors which is a security concern for me.

Filtered water dispensers are not located on all the hotel floors. But bottled water is provided by the hotel. The hot water kettle provided in our first hotel room was also made of plastic which I was hesitant to use given the high risk of microplastics or melted plastic exposure.

The free breakfast provided by the hotel was good. They had hot buffet style foods. The selection was not large, but adequate and had some fresh fruit also (mainly watermelon and pineapple slices).

As an Expedia VIP member, I was also given a 324NT food credit to use. However, as the hotel does not have a restaurant, we had to use the credit at a designated restaurant. When we went to use the credit, the restaurant informed us that we had to buy something in order to use the credit which is not right.

The first room they assigned was with a strong sewer smell that I have to request for a different room. They did let me move to another room which smell much better.
They do offer parking in the basement which is very convenient. Also the location os right across from a shopping mall with several restaurants.

Appreciated the smooth extension of our stay at Airline Inn after talking to Jia at front desk. Our Expedia GOLD status continued to be honoured and we were able to keep our VIP room upgrade. Lac Vu and Xiaoji gave us exactly what we needed from housekeeping. Loved the Taiwanese buffet breakfast- discovered yummy new food like Yaohua there, served by Vera and helpful breakfast team. Recommend for Taichung stays!

Attractive Taichung location, clean & quiet rooms and responsive & responsible staff. Appreciated the larger room from Expedia GOLD upgrade. Small quirks with room: shower handle is somewhat loose so it looks like it can drop after shower. Wifi just worked at first, but takes us some trying to reconnect later on. NTD 325 food credit ended up being a discount to a (very good, actually) local restaurant- perk description needs update to minimize confusion. Their in-house coin-op laundry (with free detergent!) is a plus as well. Overall a great stay- recommend for your Taichung trip.

The bathroom with shower and bathtub is oversized. Nearby with Sogo store department and lots of shopping stores and restaurants. Nearby bus stations… very happy with Airline Inn.

It was a very unpleasant experience we had in Taiwan. On google map, the hotel is listed as a 4-star hotel. However, the entrance of the hotel is very hard to find, and it is sharing entrance with a shopping mall. There is no clear sign of the hotel entrance. The front desk is very small and there is no even one couch to sit on. 4-star?? very odd. The parking garage is in basement, and it has all these oily metal chains dangling down from the ceiling, why?? The parking space is very small, and cars need to squeeze in and hard to get out. What is even worse was there was some sort of electrical noise constantly on the guest room floor. It felt very disturbing. We booked for two nights. But our parents couldn't stand the noice, so we had to find another hotel on the first day. When I returned key to hotel front desk and told them reason why we couldn't stay, I was told that they would not be able to refund the first night. That would be ok. What's even disappointing was later hotel denied that they said they could refund us for the second night. They decided to charge us two full nights even we didn't stay single night. It was a very disappointing experience for us in Taiwan. It was a shame since I had such a good impression of Taiwan before I visited there.

Located in an extremely convenient area, close to many great restaurants and extremely walkable to places of interest.

Service is impeccable. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful during our weeklong stay here. Daily housekeeping was also completed to high standards while we were away.

The daily breakfast was good, variety was slightly small and most of the main dishes were repeated daily like the porridge, buns, fruits, cereals and bakery items. No complaints there though.

FYI, the rooms are huge.

Overall this was a good place to stay and I’d highly recommend choosing this location when visiting Taichung.

A Decent Stay That Has Potential

The hotel is good for a budget friendlier stay in a prime location, where you have accessibility to a lot of eateries, a big department store and convenience stores like Family Mart (right on the corner). However, the rooms can be better. They are clean, but there are things that can be definitely improved. There were slight stains on the walls, the carpet looked worn and felt like it needed a deep cleaning. The air within the room felt very damp and made it somewhat hard to breathe. IOverall, these are all things that I can somewhat overlook but this hotel has the potential of being even better so why not make the necessary improvements?

Stayed three night at this hotel.
This dated hotel has no personal characteristic of a Hotel, more like a convention center that have large plain rooms.
Pros:good location, large room, attentive staff
Cons: Poor breakfast, if you need a western style food, you will find almost nothing to eat.
Musty/stale smell in room. Old discolored carpet with stains.
We had to move rooms on first night due to water from shower entering the room's carpet.
On second day they fumigate our room WHILE WE HAD ALL OUR CLOTHS AND SOME OPEN SNACKS SPREAD OUT.
We did not want to cause a scene, however, since the fumigation we experienced throat irritation.
I was telling the front desk that fumigate an occupied room can be hazardous. They just replied \"sorry, sorry \".

Upgraded to family room at check in with fee, hence my review is for family room with 2 double beds. Everything is good except that the place is to big... The distance from lift to room is very long and the laundry room is almost 1km from the lift... With only 2 pathetic plastic chairs for those waiting for their laundry. This should be improved, given that the ample space is available.

Reception has been helpful in getting taxi and assisting with other enquires. There's 2 convenience stores and 1 Watson next doorz so it's super convenient.

服務生都很親切也很幫忙，甚至我取寄存的行李時服務生還告訴我在房間掉了一張優惠卡，正常其他飯店應該當作是房客不要的垃圾吧，他還撿回給我說在房間地上撿到，剛好那正是我想送給在地朋友的優惠卡，真的很感謝！最後一刻還是可以送出，真的很感謝。

房間也很好，乾淨，而且多燈可以調不同氛圍，一人睡了，另一人還可以運用其他燈工作／看手機之類。而且飯店位置很好，在百貨公司後面，走路路程就可以到誠品，也很靠近公車站，吃的、逛的都很方便。會推薦朋友
