This was my kind of hotel. It provided the basics I needed with style and sufficient comfort. The air conditioner in my room was hard to control overnight, but that is my only complaint, and I know I am sensitive to cold and heat.

The service was ok, compare the west district Green hotel they have ways to catch up. The room and bathroom is very small and kinda old. I like the hotel decorations and they have water refilll machines every floor. 10 mins walks to Fengjia night market. There is a laundry store right next to the hotel.

Poor soundproofing. I was given a room on level 2, next to the main road. When I checked in, I had asked it will be noisy on a level 2 but the hotel staff assured me no. I am a deep sleeper, yet I could hear people talking and walking outside my door. I could hear sounds coming from the next door. I could also hear the traffic all night long. And I was awoke at 7+am on a sunday because of some roadwork. I couldn't sleep well at all. Request for a higher floor and away from the main road if you are considering staying here.

Hotel is full of characters. Room and bathroom are so clean, and spacious. Great services, with free light breakfast. There are many restaurants, shops , and two wells known night markets within walking distance. Love our stay, will definitely return and recommend the hotel to our friends whenever we are in town.

I love this hotel. Young and creative. Staffs are super nice. Very clean and new. Walking distance to FengJia night market, many restaurants around.
Just the hot water need some times to \"produce\". There are 3 of us, but normally the 1st person took bath couldn't get water that hot enough, but it's still warm and acceptable.

Not a bad option near Fengjia night market

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning and they were able to accommodate and store our luggages. However, hotel check-in could be improved. As we went back at check-in time but room was still not ready. The room was smaller than expected but acceptable in Asia standards. The hotel eating area was huge. However, the hotel does show it’s dating and requires a refresh soon. Given the price, it’s still not a bad option. We had trouble with the shower water levels as well, it fluctuates between hot and hotter. There is no lack of greenery and plants in this hotel.

Concierge personnel are very friendly. Room is very clean and green just that it is a little small. Toilet is clean but small. Its only a 1 man standing area. Tends to knock on the wall during bath time. Its good if it is the first night in Taichung with not many shopping done yet in Taiwan as room are really small and not much walking space after you placed the luggage on the floor

The room is clean, small but well spaced for luggage packing. Good and kind service. Simple breakfast like porridge and bread is provided at the basement which is pleasant and comfortable. Only point is that you will have to clear the table and wash own dishes. Difficult to find lot for loading/loading as it is located at traffic junction.

Great value for money

It was a nice hotel with a very warm service and great staff. It had a mini breakfast of sorts that you can have (toast with jams, hard boiled eggs) and free flow of coffee and tea. I liked that it was close enough to the night market but yet far enough not to have the noise heard. Room wise, it was a little small for 2 pax when we had to open our luggage but small price to pay. Would definitely recommend others to stay and I would stay again if I am in Taichung!

地點位置離逢甲夜市很近，走過去很方便。房間不錯，只是床上發現有塵。地下的公共空間環境很好，有開放煮食空間還有冷箱，下廚很方便。住宿地方重視環保，有一面幾樓層高的綠化牆，挺漂亮的。不得不提這家的職員服務都很好，查詢問題都回答得很仔細，最後一天到機場幫我們叫taxi，差一點忘了拿東西他們幫忙提醒，謝謝(29號下午值班的人員)。

2nd time stay.

For a family of 5, it was adequate only as room area was not big but for the price it was a deal. Bathroom size was ok but the frosted glass door has no lock. No wardrobe but there are a few hooks outside the bathroon door. Location is very near Fengjia night market. The lobby has a cafe that serves nice quick breakfast. There was no need to boil water as there is a dispenser on every floor for hot, cold and room temp water. Check in and out was a breeze and the recep staff were friendly and helpful.

Green and Clean Hotel

We were given an upgrade so it's spacious enough to put two 20\" luggage. Love the green n clean design of the hotel/room but the bathroom/toilet were really tiny n the basin was outside instead (beside the bedside table) so the floor n bedside table will get wet. It is also kinda far from the night market compared to Le Parker.

Nice hotel and close to the night market and buses

We were greeted with very helpful and polite staff that gave us recommendations for our itinerary. The location of this hotel was great with nearby breakfast eateries and convenient store. The popular Fengjia Night Market was within walking distance and the environment felt safe and clean.

As for the rooms, we were surprised by how clean it was especially since the floors aren't carpeted it meant that the rooms were very clean and not dusty.

Simple eco-friendly hotel close to Fengjia night market. Rooms were a good size but the toilet is a bit small.

Sound-proofing was quite bad as we can hear the next door guests laughing and talking away.

As Taichung does not have any metro trains in place yet, travelling to other attractions was a hassle. Most of the time we took a cab or uber-ed around (the drivers were very friendly and informative!).

But overall, a clean and comfortable stay.

Value for money, great night market vicinity

Green hotel is just 5 mins walk from Fengjia night market. In general the room is quite clean, very comfortable bed, I like the filtered water machine on each floor, you can get unlimited hot/warm/cold water 24 hours, there is a laundry shop and a self service laundry service just 5 mins from the hotel. The staff is helpful.
Definitely good value for money.

The bathroom of standard room for 4 pax is rather small. 2nd night change to deluxe room for 4 pax and the size of the bathroom much much better.
Location wise is good. There is cafe right next door which is still open past 11pm.

convenient to walk to Fengjia Night Market

The Green Hotel is near to Fengjia Night Market, and also within my budget. Yes, you still have to walk around 5 to 10 mins to Fengjia area. The room is not big but cosy, do not expect the table is big, just enough for some small daily items. The wall sockets are easy and considered to have international adapter type. Staffs are helpful, best to speak in Chinese language to them. There is a hot and cold water dispenser outside the room, I think available every level. If you travel from Taichung High Speed Rail Station, aka 台中高鐵站, take cab around 20 - 30 mins, around TWD 300. There is a cafe downstairs, on ground floor, hence the hotel lobby is not very visible, as many cab drivers do not know. In short, just open your eyes big, and be observant.

My second stay here! The location is superb, 3 min walk to night market and yet away from all the noise at night! The room is very compact with minimal walkway, but I like the cleanliness of the hotel! That's why I always choose Green Hotel when I am at Taichung!

Location was good. A street away from the bustling fengjia night market. We booked a deluxe quad room and it was big. Good for 3 of us with luggage and bags. Condition of room was okay. Abit run down in certain areas. Otherwise nothing much to complain.

Walking distance to Feng Jia night market and shops. Easy to find restaurants for food. There is a nice bakery shop attached to the hotel. If you need to find pharmacy, there were few pharmacies in walking distance too. Hotel was clean. Family room was spacious. Recommend for travelers with young children. Only one elevator available, need to wait for elevator during peak hours. We stayed at level 3, so we used staircase most of the time. Staircase is not suitable for elderly and for those who stay at higher floor.

If you need to get a cab, just let the staff knows and they can help you call one within minutes. It's about 100nt to cab from the hotel to the nearby Chaoma bus station.

Located right behind the Fengjia night market where there are endless shopping and yummy street snacks. 30 mins bus ride from Taichung hsr. Location is easy to find.
