Initially it was hard to understand the instructions of checking in, hotels.com only provided their confirmation number whilst doesn't apply for the chase walker hotel. I had to call the customer service hotline of the hotel to be able to check-in. Totally panicked and confused in the beginning.

Hotel is pretty clean and cool, in a good location, everything is straight forward that you checked in with the machine but I still encountered some problems when I checked in to my room and I have to call the customer service to resolve the issue. But other than that everything was great.

Check-in was quick and fuss-free with clear instructions provided by the hotel via email. Room was small but cosy and very comfortable! Location was easy to find and close enough to Feng Jia Night Market without the noise. Didn’t get to use the robotic arm luggage storage system but it does seem cool. Overall, a great and comfortable stay, will be back again when I visit Taichung.

まずこのホテルにはフロントデスクが無くタッチパネルにてセルフチェックインをするタイプのホテルだった。手続きの際にに予約番号を入力する必要があったのですが、予約確認のメールにはそのような記載がなく手続きにかなり手間取った。結局タッチパネル横の電話を使ってホテルの方とやり取りをしたが当然日本語は通じず中国語もしくは英語のみの対応であった為どちらかの言語が話せないと辛いなと感じた。そして予約番号をホテルの方から直接教えてもらい何とかチェックインできました。伺った予約番号はやはりメールに記載がなく不親切さを感じました。（ホテルの方の対応は迅速で特に不快感などは感じません。）また、チェックイン前とチェックアウト後の荷物預かりのサービスも利用できるとのことでしたが、これもタッチパネルでの操作が必要で初めて利用する方にはやや難易度が高いように思います。なおルームキーはQRコード式となっていて、チェックインの手続き後にメールで送られてきます。エレベーターの利用時と部屋の開錠時に必要になります。なおエレベーターがかなり速度が遅く、常にフル稼働で開いたら満員ということが何度もありました。チェックアウトの際は時間に余裕を持ったほうがいいです。
