This was my first time solo travelling, and I was sexually harassed, assaulted, and stalked by another guest during my stay at Holiday Inn Antalya Lara. Despite reporting this multiple times and even pointing out the individual, and despite the hotel confirming the incident through CCTV footage, the hotel refused to remove him and refused to call the police. They did not even offer to change my room, even after he discovered which floor I was staying on.

Instead, staff were dismissive and kept making excuses like “we can’t do anything without management” while telling me “nothing will happen to you” and “this is a very safe hotel.” It gave the impression there is no policy to protect guests: even in cases of serious crime, you are left waiting for management to make a decision that may never come. The perpetrator remained in the hotel throughout my stay, approaching me again in front of staff, leaving me unsafe and unprotected. This not only put me in danger, but also other guests.

After leaving, I contacted hotel management in writing but was ignored. I deliberately waited before posting this review to give them the chance to apologise, take responsibility and do the right thing. They did not.

Guest safety is clearly not a priority here. I strongly advise against staying, especially for women travelling solo.

It's clean, great vibe, the meals served are pretty decent, some of the food is canned which was weird to me (a bowl of peaches right next to a bowl of canned peaches) but for the most part still really good. The staff is very very helpful. The pool is amazing! And they have a private beach which is really great. The location is a little bit far from things, a 1 hour bus ride to Old Town, 2 hour bus ride to Land of Legends. But overall a really great hotel.

Horrible place to stay. On the advert they advertise soundproofed rooms! Walls are paper thin, you can clearly hear next door conversations! Sliding door and glass are not soundproofed you can hear outside noise all night. This hotel is in the landing path of the Airport! Aeroplanes landing every 10-15 minutes day and Night!!!! Extremely noisy could not sleep any nights. Stayed for 6 nights. They would move you lower floor but doesn’t matter because of the landing planes. Avoid if you want to rest! Booked well ahead of our arrival and their price was double as the day we arrived! Did not offer any discount. Room cost nearly €1500 for 6 nights breakfast and dinner for 2.
Buffet food selection is poor, quality is acceptable but not good. If you choose and pay from the set menu is way higher quality and beautiful presentation. Menu price is not expensive. Outdoor facilities are all closed (winter season) it was 27 degrees at our arrival. Spa is tiny unusable nowhere to rest. No entertainment at all, nothing to do in the hotel cant even sunbathe because its closed. Was not 5 star hotel at all because all facilities where closed (pool area, sunbed area “ winter season in 27 degrees) but they charge you for 5 star hotel price. Interior design is nice but thats how they can sell the rooms online. When you arrive and you notice the noise form landing planes you get the shock! Looks like a transit hotel, big groups arrive every night then they leave in the morning. Avoid!!!

Our stay was generally satisfactory. The staff was courteous and accommodating. However, I encountered a significant issue with the exceptionally thin walls. I was able to discern conversations occurring in adjacent rooms and the sound of children stomping from above, rendering the accommodation not soundproof. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was positive.

All i got to say is that the staff makes sure to take care of the guests. Me and my wife haven’t had such a welcoming and caring costumer experience like the staff in Antalya IHG. Deff recommend for all inclusive or just to stay. They bring you to a private beach as well offer beach towels and chairs at no cost. However, wouldnt recommend the buffet/restaurant. it isn’t about the price but quality. the food is 2/10. other than that… Nothing to complain. thank you!!

If you expect to sleep don’t stay here! The staff are amazing however the management simply don’t care! Was here for medical tourism - kept awake all night with noise of traffic, wild dogs barking, elevator machinery, doors banging, large noisy tour groups, paper thin walls so you can hear other guests. We have recordings from every night of our stay from inside the room with window and balcony door closed!
Raised with staff who offered 2 alternative rooms on lower floors nearer the noise! Offered upgrade to top floor for €150 per night which we of course declined! Noise was unbearable on night 7/14 that staff issued ear plugs!!! Told by IHG Customer Care that the General Manager would contact us within 48 hours - still waitiing! Have requested a refund for the nights we haven’t used and been told No as they offered room on a higher floor - no they didn’t! Also they stated that they had already given us a sea view room on the 9th floor when we booked a city view room like we should be thankful! Maybe the room we booked would have been quieter?
We have now moved to another hotel at an additional cost -
Do they think we would have done this if they had actually made a suitable alternative? Also they dispute when we complained - regardless of when we complained we paid for a hotel and expect to be able to sleep - pretty basic!!!

We had two nights stay at Holiday Inn. Our room was upgraded just to make our stay very special. After few days of road trip Holiday Inn offered a perfect stay. Convenient location between Lara beach and city center. Most welcoming staff, who tried to make possible everything we needed. Sea view with plenty of room inside and out in the balcony. Food was awesome, better and more reasonable than outside restaurants. Easy self park and safe location. I would come back here again and stay for few weeks. You’re treated like a feel like 5 star guest.🙏🙏🙏

The staff in the morning today was rude and condescending. Especially the lady. Staff is the heart of any hospitality and hotel business, and this hotel needs to work on that. Disappointed. Will not stay again. The place is okay, its liveable for a night or so. Wouldnt come here for a vacation though, thanks to the woman on the reception counter today at 11 am, July 8, 2023. I forgot to get her name to make a formal complaint with Holiday Inn headquarters.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for two weeks. The cleanness, hospitality, and staff friendliness were all beyond expectations. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, not in a commercial area. It was ideal for me as I could explore little family shops, restaurants, and street food vendors. The shuttle to the beach is also convenient, and amenities for beach use are complimentary. After the first week, it seemed like everyone knew my name and my preference for social routine. I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to return.

I never normally review properties but this is the best holiday inn I’ve ever been too! The room was stunning, the bed was so comfortable, it was clean and tidy, the bathroom was modern and spotless! We stayed for one night before our connection flight the next morning. Our room was on the 10th floor and we discovered by great surprise that the airplanes just fly above the hotel! It was so loud I had a hard time sleeping! They fly every 10-20 minutes which could be heard loudly even if you close the balcony door. It made me anxious to a point that I was expecting the next flight with some distress. Also, this prevented me from opening the balcony door for some fresh air since it was so loud. I would not prefer this hotel or the area again for this reason.
Also, we ordered food from outside and found out that they would not let us eat the food in the room (hotel policy). I had to argue and plead with the receptionist, which finally let us take the food. However, after a 5 hour flight I was tense and angry about this \"hotel policy\" that tries to control what I can and cannot eat in my room.
Also I would rate the mattress \"uncomfortable and old\" and it sinks in the middle. Feels like there is a hole in the middle.

The bed was broken one 1 side, mattress heavily tilting on 1 side. The room was 27C inside despite the AC adjustment, when complained was told it was off from main control system. The phone was not working.
Most important issue was the bed. I reported to the relationship manager to review and get back to me, left my business card. No one dared to contact me. 1 night of uncomfortable sleep while room was charge USD180. a total rip off

One of the best Holiday inns I stayed in. Friendly staff clean, rooms are equipped with updated technology. Balcony with sea view.
The only thing I don’t like is it’s a 10 min walk to the beach. They provide shuttle service but walking is better if you don’t want to wait.
I would give it a 6 stars.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was clean well dressed, helpful, and courteous. Food was excellent with a large nutritious variety. Well worth the purchase price. View seaside was spectacular! Watching youth kickball on the weekends was amazing. This Hotel is a short walking distance to the Mediterranean Sea, Shops, and restaurants. 12 min taxi ride the to the Malls or Marina. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Antalya Turkey!!

The breakfast was not nice, the coffee is horrible. Pretty standard room, even if we chose the sea view there's hardly anything to see. They grant their guests access to the red and white beach which is more than 20 minutes away walking, through a rather unpleasant area with many street dogs. They do provide a couple of shuttle rides per day.

Affordable hotel, not too many activities, due to location and cov19 issues. Area has positive atmosphere. Beach is far but nice sands . Not well maintained Beach and far from hotel specially at sun harder to walk there .

We had issue at service, but management fixed instantly. However manger should talked to us face to face instead of just a phone call .

Yes he fixed the issue . But it would be more nicer if he talked to us face to fwce and more professional.

We spent 7 dsys same breakfast of one person served to 2 . We also received bad old bread at weekends as seams no ppl or cheaf .. but this issue was well resolved aftrr our complaint.

Also one last thing to note dont write private Beach while you dont have beach at all and onlu public beach 1.2km a way .
