Excellent location of hotel. The room was clean (no issues). From check-in to check out the staff was accommodating, courteous, friendly & helpful. Wi-Fi connected efficiently and breakfast was good. I believe guests would be satisfied staying at the hotel.

The hotel is clean and the room was in very good condition. The staff is courteous. Some things that need to be upgraded are: The lock on the door to the pool wasn't working. A man who was in the pool let us in. He told us that it didn't work for him either. The lock on the door to our room had a similar problem. It stopped working when we stepped out to ask a question at the front desk. Also, there was a alarm clock in our room which had been left on by the previous occupant. It woke us up at a very early hour. For this reason, we slept later that usual. So I texted the front desk several times to ask about when the breakfast would stop being served and when checkout time was, but no one answered me. My wife and I arrived at the breakfast just after they shut it down. When I asked the woman at the front desk why she didn't answer my text messages, she said it was a system that didn't work at the hotel. She had no access to those messages. None of her coworkers had ever seen one of those text messages or responded to one. They didn't know how to see those text messages. We were surprised, as we travel and stay at many different hotels. We often communicate with the front desks via text message. If the system doesn't work at their hotel, they should shut it down so clients don't try to use it. Clients are expecting things to work just as they do at other hotels in the United States. P.S.: One of the staff walked into our room in the morning. It was not checkout time yet.

On a two night stay, room was not cleaned. Room walls were crudely patched but not painted. Stairwell walls and carpet filthy. Card reader on at least one external door not working, leaving us to waste valuable time in freezing weather

January 2026 - Hotel is currently undergoing significant renovations. First floor was an absolute disaster in hallways, horrendous paint smell, etc. The site did the best they could do to not interfere with guest stays but would have chosen to stay elsewhere if it was known on the Expedia that the hotel was under renovations. Elevator was out of service due to an \"incident\" so had to traverse 3 stories each direction during the stay. Pool was warm, clean, and well maintained.
Overall front desk experience was excellent, and breakfast selection was satisfactory.

Breakfast area: no seating area as the area doesnt have enough tables so we had to stand and eat Breakfast with kids. Plus the hotel staff cant refill the empty food trays as ppl will finish it while others line up and wait for staff to refill.
Construction: 1st floor is full of construction renovations. Its loud, the hotel should shut down for renovations but is operating while its ongoing which isnt ideal. Also when customers are booking the hotel it should be disclosed that its undergoing construction so you are aware of it and are aware prior to booking it.
Elevator: Elevators dont work so you need to take stairs. Very inconvenient with family. Also staff when checking in told us Elevator will be fixed by the following day but than we found out the next day that they dont know when it will be fixed by

Overall stay was mediocre. Room was clean and decent. Ceiling had unfinished painting areas which we believe was to hide a leak repair.
Breakfast was good; had a a lot of variety. One of the days though the omelets were still frozen so that wasn’t pleasant.
Pool area was full of condensation, leaks everywhere and carpet soaking wet. Only 3 towels available.
Best part was the gym; although small, I had it all to myself which was nice.
Would I come back? Maybe not. But overall satisfied our mini getaway.

We were welcomed with a smile and had a quick check in and out. Our room was fresh & clean and we were given extra towels upon request quickly and without issue.
Breakfast offered a wonderful variety of eggs, meat options like sausage and bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes and our favorite cinnamon rolls 😋.
We definitely recommend if you are in the area to check out the Chester Holiday inn Express & Suites.

9/24 Got there early was talking to the front desk about possible early checkin when out of nowhere pops up who seems to be the head of housekeeping and she said \"Ill find a room have a seat\". VERY clean and insanely nice for the price. Laundry is available, the front has a little store you can buy laundry soap and other things at, and there’s a CVS and Walgreens nearby as well as food options all over. I was driving from upstate to visit NYC and this was a perfect in between stop. The area is clean and seems safe. Front staff is very friendly and helpful. Stay here.

Bedding had stains. Washer and dryer room for cleaners were next to us on the first floor. Terrible all you heard all night was the dryer. Metal was found in my cup after using the ice machine and water near pool area. Note staff did shut it down. Pictures online to real life totally off. Food was okay wish there were more things to choose from. Cleaning staff brought children everyday to eat and stand around so unprofessional. Over all 5.8 out of 10.00

The staff was so nice and accommodating. We chose this hotel due to the convenient 10 min drive to Legoland. The breakfast had a good variety eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, cinnamon rolls, fruit, muffins, cereal,yogurts and juices. The coffee was also really good a machine that grinds up beans and makes each coffee fresh to order. The also had togo bags which was helful since we have a tiny guy that tends to eat a bite and \"save it for later\" the rooms had a microwave and fridge and the pool was nice and shallow. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again for our next legoland trip!

Initially, I was not given the room w/ 2 queen beds. It was 1 king & a couch. After complaining, I was given a 2 QB room. Around 11:30pm someone tried to get to my room twice. I disregarded thinking that it was just a mistake.
Around 1:30am, I heard a knock on my door and someone saying “front desk”. I disregarded. Five minutes later, again. This time I got up and looked through the door hole, I just saw someone waking away. Around 20m later, once again someone from fronts desk knocking at my door. Thinking that it may be emergency , I opened the door. I was the the front desk clerk just to ask my last name. Of course I couldn’t go back to sleep, and my whole next day at legoland was ruined. Total violation of our right to privacy.

The staff was very friendly and the check-in process was quick. The hallway leading to the room was messier than I would've expected for a room almost $300. The room was clean, though we only had enough towels in the room for one person and there were three of us. There was no hand soap in the bathroom; an issue that was never resolved despite talking to two different people at the front desk about it.

Bad management unfriendly .my room was next to landry room where the clean the sheet and it was storage hotel room as well door always open were you can see a lot staff dirty and chambermaid car always next to my room sometimes 2 cars standing in hallways next to my room sometimes i have to push the car inorder to get to my room. The worse senario cleaning service keep going all day . 1 time i came back from outside a round 530PM and the room wasn't clean yet when i ask front desck why the chambermaid haven't fix the room yet a this time !! He checked the note sheet he said no its done she clean it already !! I was like why am liying to you or something why dont you checked the room by your self !! So he checked he found not clean at all !!! He spoke to the chamber maid how come you checked the list on the sheet its been clean. Anway also the serve the same breakfast every single day . You have to grab the cream cheese before it finish otherwise they want more !!!. The omelet was terrible and always cold !!! The toster work only 1 side the other side not working so people wait online to toast the bagels !!! The big problem is the pool oh my god is terrible not clean you can tell and see how the water not clean dirty. !! Test the pool water's pH, alkalinity, and chlorine levels regularly ! But no staff working on it i didn't see no
Adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain a balanced and safe swimming environment.

The exterior and lobby are beautiful and clean. The breakfast also had many options.

Our room was sub-par. There was a white powder on the arm of our couch, stains in the floor, and what honestly looked like blood spattef on the ceiling. Hoping it was just our room but kind of creeped us out a bit.
