The staff was great, the room was clean but I rated it two stars because the room we stood in was right next to the side entrance/exit (you can only enter this way if you have a key to a room). Every time someone entered or exited the door would slam shut. This occurred throughout the night which made us constantly jump up thinking something was happening. Secondly, the lock on the door didn’t turn the full way to actually lock the door so that made us feel not so safe, thirdly the water that came out of the sink in the bathroom never got hot. As much I dislike to leave water running, I did thinking it needed some time for the hot water to make it to the sink. Well it never did. Lastly, the breakfast was ….ehh… I have had better breakfast at hotels.

To be perfectly honest, it was a good place. Just note it can be compared to a dorm room setting or a nursing home. The shower type was different more for the elderly or disabled person. The staff were very welcoming and willing to assist. Breakfast is available. The price was good. If you’re passing through perfect place. Many restaurants in the area.

The staff was very nice, the room was nice in clean. The television gave us a lot of problems all night and the pillows on the bed was horrible, the were flat and no fluffiness at all. Not even two together made one, just horrible.

Staff was great, room was clean.
The biggest issue was how loud it was. I think it was drill weekend or something like that. Doors slamming all night, I was close to the employee lounge and i think it was th coming and going. The walls or so thin i could hear the neighbors tv all night and the curtains are not black out. I would not stay at a Tru * establishment again. Whichnis a huge shame because I have always been loyal to hilton whenever possible.

The hotel itself is located conveniently enough around restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and willing to help where they can.
The walls are a bit thin and the door to the room I stayed in was not level. It kept sticking to the floor and I had to kick it open every time I wanted to enter the room.

Check in was difficult as we reserved 2 queen beds and at first they told us we could only have a king bed, but they did honor our original reservation as we had 3 guests.
The front desk staff was very helpful, and let us put what we wanted on the tv in the lobby which was nice. The room smelled bad, like rotten citrus. Definitely should change the cleaner used. Otherwise a good stay, clean and comfortable.

I just did not like that I had to ask for hot water from the staff i just wanted to make a cup of tea with out bothering anybody just wish the hot water would have been available for me to get my own tea i could have sat in the lobby and finished up my report. I came for business and had to be back in the city very early i came in at 8 went to dinner back by 915 no hot water in lobby

Love coming to this hotel, it has a wonderful atmosphere, caring staff and the environment is throughly clean and friendly. Saxida is very lovley and accommodating she definitely cares about the guests that come in and any problems that may occur she is urgent to fix it I appreciate how she remembered who I was and her energy is full of light. I appreciate everything this hotel has to offer and will be returning to make more fun memories in the future!

This property is very modern, the lobby is very fun and inviting. The only problem I encountered is that the rooms have no microwaves which seem pretty standard in most hotels, especially a Hilton. Other than that, my stay was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

My children and I have stayed at Tru by Hilton Middletown on three different occasions. Vic and his employees are so friendly, helpful and very professional. My children enjoy their breakfast and especially the pancake machine. I like there is a fitness room which I have used while staying there. The rooms are nice and clean. Many restaurants and stores near by. One of our favorite hotels to stay at!

I'm not very familiar with the TRU line of Hilton hotels, but it seems to be a somewhat spartan line. People should keep that in mind.

Overall, our stay was comfortable. Bathrooms are quite noisy -- you can hear your neighbors well. The sleeping area was noticeably quieter, but sound still carried a bit.

My traveling companion has some back issues and she was not pleased with the bed, though I had no problem with it. She is used to finer bedding.
