Really bad they couldn’t offer us food after arriving 20:50. No restaurants close by. They advertised it had three restaurants open allday. And they also advertised they had a snackbar and a deli. None of that existed.

My only complaint was that unbeknownst to me booking with Expedia didn't include breakfast but when checking in the staff told me where and when breakfast is. I assumed it was included in the price which was the same shown on google maps. While checking out i had to pay the €19.50 for breakfast.

Honestly, dont stay here. We were lured in by the 'great reviews' but it was possibly the worst place I've stayed. We arrived at 1am after driving a solid 14 hours from Ukraine, to find the room was over 30c, with stagnant hot air and no way of ventilating it we tried to call reception but the room phone wasnt working. Before any of this happened our key hadnt worked, probably due to the woman on reception who was slobbed over her chair leaving the man (Christian?) to juggle the various customers at the desk. He was possibly the best thing about the hotel, polite, friendly, helpful, very kind.
Even when we went down for breakfast at 7.30am the whole place was far far too hot it was uncomfortable.
I barely slept due to the heat, and now have another 14 hours of driving exhausted which was exactly what we were trying to avoid.
Please save your money and go elsewhere!

A Nice Place In Baunatal
This was a second visit to the hotel. Very convenient and within walking distance of several restaurants, although there is some good food to be had in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was fine and in pleasant surroundings. A very nice features is the complementary coffee and tea available in the lobby area. Also a short hop on the S-Bahn to Kassel. For the price, it is a real bargain. And the staff is very helpful and pleasant.

The worst Best Western Hotel ! We arrived at 11.30 pm to the hotel . No welcome , receptionist chaotic we have to wait 30 min to get keys ! Room no air conditioner. It was 29 degrees during the night impossible to sleep

Nice hotel and very easy to find. The hotel looked a little tired in places, whilst other parts were fresh. Lovely included buffet breakfast, one of the best I've had in hotels. No kids play area, and no outside green space. If you're travelling with a roof box, the underground parking is limited to 202cm, there are only a few outside spaces, but lots nearby, which I was assured was safe and the local police station is directly opposite. Would I stay there again? Yes. Quick access to the motorway, so super convenient if you're travelling by car through Europe. Let down by the outside seating area at the entrance where everyone smokes.

This hotel needs a major upgrade: AIR CONDITIONING. Too stuffy, a fan does not provide the comfort of any of the four other hotels in which I lodged during this trip. Breakfast was great, staff great.

The hotel was quite old but was clearly being updated and I didn't really mind the older areas anyway. The bed was comfortable, room bathroom, facilities etc all a good size. My main issue was that the room had quite a strong smell - like rubber which I think may have been from new carpet, was busy with work so didn't have time to report this or chase up with the staff. The other issue was a mistake with my booking, I had booked a room with a kitchen but this wasn't available on arrival. Staff were helpful with this and offered an upgrade or discount which was fine. This mistake aside I thought the staff seemed friendly and helpful over all.

Worst hotel experience in my life
I was travelling from italy to Denmark by car and wanted a room for the night during my drive. I ordered and paid for the room a week in advance and choose best western as i was under the impression, that it was a solid hotelchain. But from start to finish this was the worst hotel stay in my Life.
I Arrive late in the evening as i have been driving and I Can hardly communicate with the man behind the desk as there is a disco party on the mainfloor. There seems to be confusion about my reservation and my name even though i hand him my passport. I finaly get my keycard and find my Way to the room, but the keycard does not Work. So i have to go back and after more confusion I am handed the card again, now it works.
The room is old and funky smelling. The carpet seems be 50% fabric and 50% bodyfluids. The aircondition in the bathroom sounds like it is powered by a diesel engine. Its 11 in the evening and I go straight to bed.
At 6:15 in the morning i pack my things and go to the breakfast buffet which I paid for in advance. I am singled out in the Buffetline by an angry man with noodlehair and glasses, who wants to know if I am staying at the hotel, and wants proof. He goes to check and gives me such an attitude that i am stunned. I then unfortunately Dive in to the buffet with eggs that has been cooked so Long that the yolk is blue and a coffee i decide not to finish.
When I check out, it takes forever to confirm that it is a prepaid stay.
Never ever Best Western again.

Ich habe wiederholt beobachtet, wie Mitarbeitende des Hotels sich direkt am Buffet bedient haben – und zwar mit den Händen, ohne die dafür vorgesehenen Bestecke oder Hilfsmittel zu verwenden. Dieses Verhalten war äußerst unhygienisch und hat mir ehrlich gesagt den Appetit verdorben.
Hier besteht meiner Meinung nach dringender Handlungsbedarf in Form von Hygieneschulungen und einer klaren Sensibilisierung des Personals.
Mit etwas mehr Sorgfalt in diesem Bereich wäre der Aufenthalt rundum gelungen.

Hotellet er brugt. Så brugt at der lugter af skimmel svamp på værelse og røg desværre selvom det er et ikke ryger værelse man får. Det værste skulle jo så være skimmelsvampen, men der værste var så da jeg midt om natten skulle ligge min dyne som top madras da sengen var så hård at jeg vågnede af at ligge på den seng.
Morgen maden som vi ikke spiste var der klumper i youghurt og laksen var skrumpet sammen.

Jetzt kommt der Hammer, die Klimaanlage kann man nicht selbst bedienen sondern muss sich an der Rezeption telefonisch melden damit eine Änderung vorgenommen werden kann. Die Klima wird über die Zentrale gesteuert. Ein Witz, noch nie so etwas erlebt. Fahrstühle: Baujahr 1980 der eine ist innen schlecht tapeziert an dem anderen ist schwarzer Teppich an den Wänden verlegt. Billigster Dunkelholz Lamminatboden im Zimmer dazu noch schlecht verlegt bzw. bereits kaputt. Das alles für 200€ danke vielmal!

Wir suchten ein Hotel für ein Kurzaufenthalt in Kassel (Wasserspiele Wilhelshöhe; Grimm-Welt). Das Best Western (BW) was genau für diesen Aufenthalt das Richtige: Zentral und ruhig (trotz Stadtmitte Baunatal) gelegen bot es gute und saubere Zimmer, tolles Frühstück. Es gibt ein Restaurant und auch Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe befindet sich eine (langsame) Ladesäule für E-Autos (Ladung über Nacht o.K.). Morgens wecke katholischen Kirchen um 7:00 Uhr die Glocken der katholischen Kirche im Zenrum. Bushaltestellen und Tramstation in der Nähe. Nebenan gibt es einen großen Diskounter.

We hebben gebruik gemaakt van een overnachting op onze terug reis vanuit Italië. Hotel is schoon en de kamers zijn ruim en mooie badkamer. Bedden vonden wij niet fijn. Als mijn man omdraaide veerde ik mee. En kussens echt Duits....een hoop lucht. Persoonlijk hou ik van dikkere stevige kussens. Er zit een restaurant bij waar je a la carte kan bestellen en dat eten vonden wij lekker. Ontbijt is ook erg goed en zeer hygiënisch allemaal. Al met al zouden wij hier weer overnachten

Disappointing hotel, not always free parking
Outdated hotel. Smelly room. Large rooms. Breakfast ok. We got a wrong room but that was fast solved. We had an issue with the hotel about the free parking. They advertise with free parking. In front of the the hotel there are approximately 20 parking places, the hotel has approximately 120 rooms, so all spaces were occupied. To park within the hotel area they offer you a paid parking place in the garage. We had a discussion with a very unfriendly receptionist about this. She mentioned that we can park 50 till 100 meters from the hotel for free at the Aldi parking place. For us no option as we want to leave all our luggage in the car. They mentioned the garage is only 5,15 euro, that’s true it’s not expensive but if the hotel is mentioning free parking they should make the garage also for free.

Für Baunatal ein sehr gutes Hotel. An der Auswahl beim Frühstück muß etwas gearbeitet werden, alles was da war super Frisch und lecker, Brötchen sehr gut.
