I’ve stayed here many times and always given a 5 star rating. This time however, only 4 stars. Everything about this hotel was superb, apart from the breakfast.
It used to be outstanding, but this time it was noticeably lower in standard, with less choice and lower quality food on offer. Some serious cost-savings clearly visible. A shame.

Good hotel close to Stuttgart airport via the underground/metro. Hotel is well designed near the train station, modern with a restaurant attached, although it was closed when I arrived. I used the self serve check in facilities which were ideal and got a lovely spacious room. Room was clean and shower was great! Got a good night sleep! Would recommend other than a few odd stains that house keeping could have dealt with but for the time I needed the room it was ideal. Hotel staff were friendly, polite and made the language barrier no issue.

Reception mistake

None of our requests were met. We are a family with our children we requested connecting rooms more than 2 weeks before our stay. They gave us two separate rooms on different floors !! Even after speaking to reception shift leader nothing was done to accommodate us together. He suggested charging us the price of another room to give us a connecting room. Also during checkout they wanted to charge us 50 Euros for breakfast that we didn't have. Parking on site is also very expensive. Poor service and amenities. I will not stay here again.

This hotel has a great location with excellent transportation option right out the front door. Less than 5 minutes to the airport and about 20 minutes to downtown. Also walkable to nice restaurants.
Very professional front desk staff.
Housekeeping was not exactly top notch. They did not replenish product that we were clearly out of and one day they left our dirty towels on the floor and did not give us clean ones. Also quality of towels is poor : thin and stiff.

This property was very conveniently located directly across the street from the DB train. The breakfast was very plentiful and had a great variety. The only issue I had was the curtains are NOT black out curtains. The sun was up at 0450 and this light woke me up. It would have been nice to get some sleep past 0500 especially since I had to get up and drive across the country.

We stayed in this hotel 3 times. We liked it a lot especially the hotel is very clean and got free parking. The only thing we can criticise the hotel was some of their rooms have a glass window which is next to the bed. This is very strange as you can see your partner having a shower just next to the bed. Not much privacy at all. So I would say the room is only suitable for couples not with friends. If you come with your friends only better check before unless you don’t mind your friends looking at you while you are having a shower.

We stayed here for a couple of weeks 4 years ago and then for a week this year. As we were in the process of moving to and from Germany, I really appreciated the space and abundant flat surfaces for organizing our stuff. I thought we would have a king bed but it was just two small beds pushed together. I had a vague memory that we could request a bed topper to go over both beds, so after our first night I asked. Oddly, they are only available in certain rooms and can't be moved, but we were able to change rooms in the afternoon. It was an improvement but the beds are still too firm-probably the only disappointing thing about this hotel.

High quality business and family hotel close to public transportation.

Service on a few rare occasions could be improved (front desk unreachable by phone, breakfast service severely lacked professional attitude on one morning during my stay), but staff are genuinely trying to make \"things right\" and show compassion, empathy and concern for customer concerns. Also, all front desk and restaurant staff speak really good English.

Rooms are very bright and well equipped -with great, comfortable beds, chairs and a nice bathroom (walk in shower). Brightly colored furnishings and some sweet customer gifts for the holidays were a highlight, too.

This is definitely the best hotel in Echterdingen and well worth staying at. Also, they have a great breakfast buffet food &drinks spread as well as an onsite Bavarian style micro brewery on site.

Very nice stay overall, and I will definitely be back.

Only complaint is no way to make coffee or tea in the room and as I am an early riser, usually awake by 4:00 or 5:00 at the latest, somewhat frustrating.

Location is excellent if you need bus or U bahn into city or the airport. We had a car and it had superb parking garage with in out privileges.
Staff were very friendly and breakfast buffet was plentiful.
Disappointment was no housekeeping service unless you request it. We had a two night stay, so after being out all day, returned to the room to find no fresh towels, toiletries and the bed not made. I can understand being eco friendly so did not require fresh bed linen, but make the bed is tidiness and sweep the floor is cleanliness.
Then you find damp towels (no towel heaters if you want to dry them from another days use). Its a lovely hotel but when on holiday and post covid you expect basic housekeeping in your hotel room when staying more than one night.

The staff at this hotel were excellent! From Andrea at the front desk who was very helpful, Sabrina the head chef who helped me prepare some store bought food, to Michaela at the breakfast buffet, all went above and beyond to assure that I had a great stay. Rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated and you are just one train stop to the airport on the S2 line which is directly across from the hotel. Very convenient!

When I checked in, the front desk won’t acknowledge my Gold status with Hotel.com, thus asked me to pay for breakfast. I told them My reservation comes with free breakfast, and they double checked and still insist me to pay. I refuse to pay and talked with the manager second morning, finally the manager found out I don’t have to pay.
Overall, not so pleasant check in experience.

The room itself was a great size, no carpet. The only weird thing was a window from the bedroom into the bathroom, which means that a person can look into the shower area - less privacy. We covered the window with 2 sofa pillows.

Breakfast buffet was plenty with good variety of breakfast items.

Based on the clients we saw in the hotel it seems that they are geared towards male business travelers - ladies, bring conditioner, make-up remover etc..

Fine hotel with nice rooms and next to S train stop. Long time to get downtown and not much to walk to in this area, but close to airport so depends on your needs. Wonderful brewery-restaurant on site with fresh beer and good local foods. Easy parking. Large rooms by European standards. Good business hotel.
