It was just ok. The real problem is you can hear other guest at early morning hours! My friends that were traveling with us had a $6000 charge that was traced to Beachcomber Motel. They had paid for stay with their credit card at Motel. I was concerned that my credit card could also be compromised, but the front desk said, that since I used a 3rd party to book I needn’t worry! She wasn’t very contrite about the issue and I will not book a stay there ever again.

The check in is supposed to be at and after 3 pm. We arrived a little after 3 pm and were told that our room was not ready and would take about 30 more minutes. No problem, we can wait.

The funny thing was that the room was ready all this time. How do we know, we were parked right in front of it. Not sure if it is miscommunication between front desk and housekeeping staff or something else.

The room was clean and tidy, and I was happy that the pillows actually supported my head and neck. If you're particular about shampoo and conditioner, I would highly suggest you bring your own. I like that this lodging is so close to the ocean and I could enjoy the view from the room. It's also nice to have access to the promenade and the Pudding Creek Trestle bridge. Overall a wonderful stay in Fort Bragg.

Older Motel but very clean and had comfortable beds. It's along the beach walkway with stunning ocean views and sounds. We walked the beach walkway and were easily able to get in our daily 5 mile walk with gorgeous views.

The room would get a bit hot or musty after awhile and would have to vent it out by opening the patio door. The fireplace did keep us warm at night when it was needed. I have a few complaints about this motel that prevents me from giving it a 5 star review. The walls are paper thin between rooms. You can hear everything in the adjoining rooms. Next the room temp. I was there in December and even though thermostat was set to as low as it could go, it was hot. They have a fan in the room, but it runs on a hour timer. First night I kept waking up to reset the timer. The next day I used coffee stirrers to jam the timer on the fan. Finally, the sheets felt like sand paper and the small bed pillows were hard to get comfortable with. Location is great. Amenities were great. Employees were great.
