Jennifer
We had 3 separate rooms there this week. All of our keycards would only work once or twice before having to be rekeyed. It was super inconvenient to have to keep going to the lobby just to get back into your room.
All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful though. The bed was comfortable. The 3rd floor hallway is very dimly lit, which I didn’t like at night.

Breakfast and fitness room excellent.cleaning staff didnt change sheets when they came to replace towels ,make the bed and take out the trash.Granted that we didn't ask to change sheets beacuse we thought it was part of it when you clean a room.

This was by far perfect convenience and the hotel was so clean breakfast was great staff was friendly
Nicole
Pros: Easy check in, cookies, clean room, staff friendly, pool was very nice, breakfast was really good (nice selection)
Cons: Sink faucet leaking, bed was very firm
Overall a great place to stay! We will definitely stay again.

The staff was really friendly, including the lady making breakfast. although this is the third Holiday inn we have stayed at in the last 6 month and the beds are never comfortable.

THE STAFF!!!!! They were exceptional. A young lady checked me into one of my rooms earlier than check in time and was so nice and helpful. Then a young man checked me into the additional rooms I had booked after 1:00am and he was the sweetest, nicest young man.
Katherine
The breakfast was very fresh. Nice array of items . Would definitely stay here again!!
Richard
New, clean, comfortable and quiet at night. The breakfast was also well above average. I would stay here again.
Heather
We had to go to the hospital so all we needed was a bed. Room was clean, staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back!

James
Average, but it's Defuniak.
Joel
Room smelled like pee and the hall smelled like weed.
Chris
Very dog friendly in a good area for dogs to explore
Denise
Everything was wonderful
Robert
No exterior cameras however appears to be a safe area
Paul
The room was just ok. The toilet likes to run a while after flushing. The shower did not work. The blinds were broken. When I checked out, I alerted the staff and since I was a Expedia customer I guess no sorry or possible discounts for the inconvenience? The positive was the breakfast. And the staff was very nice when I checked in. About it.
Pamela
Friendly and accommodating staff. Location is convenient to interstate
SIDNEY
Did not eat
Shannon
Great value for money. Clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed on our trip. We would stay here again.

The room was comfortable and spacious for the price. A nice variety for breakfast and kept current. Quiet and easy access to stores and restaurants.
Bettye

Huafu
Clean room and convenient location!
Elizabeth
Great staff, everything clean. Good breakfast.
Debbie
The property is dated (has been a while since a refresh) but has large rooms and was a place to rest in the middle of a long road trip. We were facing interstate but noise was not bad. Staff was very nice.
Frances
Property was clean, breakfast was delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Business \"as usual\" at a Holiday Inn Express.
Catherine
It's always a pleasure going to this Holiday Inn Express. The workers are nice, helpful and full of Southern Charm. My kind of place. Clean, the food is great and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Jammy
Fast friendly check in experience
Marcia
The room was clean, but more seating would have been nice. Breakfast was a great ammenity and the coffee was excellent. Staff was polite and helpful. The parking lot was a bit tight when arriving at night but easy to get to. My only complaint was a very loud tv in the next room that was on all night our last two nights that was allowed to remain on even after reporting it to the front desk. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Leslie
Staff was great - thanks Mike
Kathryn

Pamela
Convenient to interstate and affordable
karen
Staff was nice, clean. Dislikes bed was extremely hard, only drink available at breakfast was coffee, after baths/ showers the bottom of the tub was covered in a rust like substance
Valerie
Nice roadside hotel. Property clean, well maintained and responsive staff.
Jaclyn
The noise in this place is insane. The people in the room above us are banging around so hard that the light on the ceiling by the room door is rattling. I’m not sure if they have a child or what, but it’s rude and disrespectful. I can hear them talking as well.
The people across from us stand by our door and laugh and talk loudly.
I am traveling with my two 10 year olds and we are completely exhausted but can’t relax or sleep with all this noise. It’s almost like a party hotel. Never will I ever stay here again. Unbelievable.

My son had a baseball tournament in Freeport about 20 min away.. It was a perfect location and very convenient for what we needed. Quiet, clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating…
Michael
We loved the hotel except for the pillows. They were horrible. They looked fluffy, but the second you put your head on them they went almost flat. Even stacking them did not help.
Tuong
Good
Diana
It was ok

Bathroom tub would not drain. Had to shower in ankle deep water. Checked in too late to deal with it on a one night stay. Carpet coming into the room was horribly stained and desperately needed cleaning. Hallways were dirty and needed to be vacuumed. We have stayed here many times in the past but it is doubtful we will stay again.
Danny
Great!
Karla Mellissa
Excellent customer service
Jim
Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Extremely loud, inconsiderate, rude people down the hall on third floor. They came in late, about 11:00 PM as we were already in bed. Called front desk and they said they would check on it. About an hour and a half later the rowdy’s finally shut up.

Great property

Nice newer proporty
Clean and comfortable. Free breakfast.
Melvin
Wonderful stay and excellent staff. My only complaint was in the bathroom where the faucet was too short. You couldn’t get your hands all the way to the stream of water.
Elisabeth
Great staff. Excellent accessible room. Very good breakfast.
Unless the floors are very thin, the Jolly Green Giant was in the room above us.
It would help not to put someone in that room when the hotel isn't full.

Shout out to Gabriel and the breakfast attendant, I forgot her name but she was tall, very attentive to her area and had exemplary customer service. If we had to stay somewhere, we will be back to this property and hope to experience others in the IHG brand.

My stay was phenomenal, check in was fast. Room was very clean, the bed felt so good & the breakfast was great!

Nice hotel and great breakfast, but a little pricey for the small town location.

Nice place
Comfortable rooms. A/C could have been colder and water in shower hotter. As we were packing to leave, saw a roach on the nightstand. Eeeekk.
Jon
Always satisfied
Have stayed at this hotel a dozen or so times and always been happy. Great breakfast and easy parking. Always clean and the beds are not terrible. You get what you pay for.

Great hotel. 2nd time staying here. Great staff
Kelli
The breakfast was really good and the pillows were so soft. I will actually be buying some. The front desk people were so amazing too. This will definitely be my go to when I come into town.
Joshua
Had an incident with the smoke alarm going off to some intense smoke, don't think it was the hotels fault, but damn if the Defuniak Springs FD didn't show up quick and in force! Good stay for a quick stop, though. No complaints
Sandra
Staff were very nice and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable.
Katie
The hotel was really nice. If you are going to a springs it was perfect but very limited food choices around.
Amanda
From the time we checked in to the time we checked out; our experience was good.
Gavin
The front counter staff was great. He greeted right away upon arrival. He was very courteous. He did a great job. I would hire him
lisa
Jennifer was awesome! She helped me find one more night when Hurricane Helene was approaching. Staff goes out of the way to help those of us stuck in limbo with potential hurricane switching course. Staff worked super hard. Lobby filled with dogs at one point and all got along great!. Thank you, for job well done!
Sandra K
Only issue was that internet for quests was down for our entire stay, which was very inconvenient and added unnecessary costs to our stay.
Christopher
Not many options for hotels /- an hour from here on I-10, and it didn't seem like there was much else at this exit. The hotel was well-taken care of and well above average among Holiday Inns that we've stayed at. Highly recommended.
Pamela
Stayed here many times. Always have trouble with the key working on the side door.
Michael
The mini fridge didn’t work.
Jennifer
Stay here often. Never disappoints.
Debra
Smooth
No problems.
