This was the nastiest hotel I’ve seen in many years. Too much to list. Stay away BEWARE
Alba
Todo muy bien
Butch
Requested non-smoking room, and that was bad. Once the AC ran awhile, it was okay.
Michael
Nice place would definitely stay and recommend
Lynn P
Loved this facility and will recommend to others!!!!!!!
Kenneth
Staff was great . The ac in the room was off so it was way too hot when I first arrived. Took about 5 hours to cool it off enough you was sweating . The doors and floors were damaged just needs fixed . The pool isn’t working so they should post that . The side of the toilet was molded. And the overflow drain in the tub was hanging half off . I’m glade my stay was just 12 hrs bc I didn’t wanna be there no longer .

Richard
The hotel was OK. Had issues with the AC unit.
Philip
Friendly staff and clean room
James
This was a nice, although aged, motel. But for our one-night stay, it was most acceptable and we had a good stay there. It was very nice to be able to back your car up to the entrance to the room.
Brian
Hotel is right off interstate 10. Easy access. Starbucks on the corner. Plenty of places to eat. Walmart just up the street.
Brenda
Only negative is beds were too high. Im 4'11\" and could not get in the bed. Ya'll need to have a step stool in room!!!
Michael
Clean,well kept,quiet, ok
Taylor
Staff was welcoming and nice! The room was older/outdated. Ther door didnt lock properly and the extra security lock didnt make me feel that extra safe. In the morning, you could see the light coming jn from the door. It was offtrack snd caused bugs to be sble to enter the room and they did. A few beetles and a roach. The furniture in the room was old and not sturdy. The bed was extremely hard and loud and old. Pillows were soft. The AC worked great, Im usually always hot and the AC was very cold. The shower water gets as hot as you want it. Overall it was decent however, I picked this hotel over others thinking it would be better and for the price I probably could of had the around the same experience with a cheaper hotel or the super 8 over this one.
Jeremy
Wonderful staff and good safety surrounding
Craig
The motel was convenient for my motorcycle trip as I could park outside the door. It was also next to a starbucks. Besides that it was in poor condition and needs work/upgrades. The people at the front desk were nice.

Pool was closed. Tbf, it was cold. Room A/C smelled horrible when it first started. Room Keurig was absolutely FILTHY, had very old water and some growth in the reservoir. The bed was ok, but the \"box spring\" was a metal box that made a gong sound evry time I moved. It was a place to sleep.
Jeffry
Room was nice and a decent price. Only downside was room smelled like smoke although it was a Non-Smoking Room.

Some guests seemed to be locals living there full time. All was quiet and I felt safe traveling with my husband. Friendly staff at the desk. Room was clean for the one night stay.
james
Very good place to stay just off the interstate clean and very quiet

It was cheap but
So I usually don't post reviews but I will for this one the hotel was clean for the most part I don't think they mop at all because my socks was almost black before I went to bed to mention the bed was real hard like sleeping on a cement floor but the rest of the room was good another down fall is they put us on the back side of the property where a young man I believe lives there. I had to move my truck down because he almost hit it all I seen him do is drink all the time so it was better to move it. And he had loud exhaust on his truck where he left it running for hours so beware if they put u in the back of the hotel in rooms 132 to 145. He's in and out all the time so watch your car very closely.

Ice machine out-of-service
Travis
Room was moldy wouldn’t recommend front desk lady was very rude
Mary
Very clean. Didn’t have much for breakfast
Brittany
Clean and peaceful stay. Breakfast was a honey bun and a muffin, which is why I’m only doing 4 stars. Very friendly
Amanda
Great place. Kind staff.
Danny
This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. You could fit your hand under the door that barely closed. And light could be seen all around the door. I was afraid to touch any light switch because they looked so grimy. Will NEVER stay there again
Alyce
Surprisingly nice room for the area. Older property, noisy kids out late at night.
Gerald
It was a cheap place to lay your head after traveling for endless hours but the room was old and dirty.
Chelsea
Room seems a little dirty. Stained furniture and the outer door has a huge gap underneath, as put a towel down to prevent bugs coming in.
Lynn
Manager was very kind and professional. Room was cleaner then my expectations. Would definitely stay there again!
Anthony
This is now the only place I will stay when I’m in Defuniak
Danielle
There is construction going on that we were unaware of we could not use the stairs. The noise is incredibly loud.
carmen
I had visited this property some years ago and was not expecting it not to be very good. But, I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and a nice place to be in.
John
Front desk was very helpful with my reservation
Constance
The room was clean & the staff was very accommodating.
Patricia

Stay at Days Inn on 2/24/25.
No problem w/ check-in. Floors were gritty. Had to dust off my feet before getting in bed. No hand towels upon check-in. Functioned without them. Also they put us in an area that doesn't seem to be used much. Later that evening, several bikers were housed in our area and they were load with their M/C engines and mufflers. Roared the engines several tyimes oin purpose.
Patricia
I plan to stay here again when visiting my in-laws. Clean and excellent service!
Sherry
The Days Inn is an older hotel that has been remodeled. It was very clean and comfortable. Large screen TV and nice furnishings. I could see where the bathroom has been retiled. Wasn't the best job but it was clean and that is what counts. I would stay there again.
Jim
Clean, up tp date, good price,
Shelly
Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Engaged in conversation and positive atmosphere.
Morgan
We had a nice time at first but apparently we were not registered in the system so we had a worker, maybe the owner, walk in our room without knocking or calling in the morning. It was all very awkward as I was still sleeping. She also kept asking when we would check out even though it was 1.5 hours prior to check out. The area was quiet and easy to hop on and off the interstate which was the only good part about that place plus Waffle House and gas station nearby was a plus. I am not sure if we will stay there again due to the invasion of privacy.
Victoria
Everything was good except we didn’t get out room cleaned and cleaning service didn’t leave at least clean towels.
Diana
They were very nice. She even checked the rm to make sure it was clean! Slept good, comfortable. Coffee was good too.thank you
Morgan
It is listed as pet friendly but apparently, they do not accept cats or kittens which was not stated on their website nor stated on Expedia. We had to keep our 2 lb kitten in our car as she was not allowed in the hotel room and we had nowhere else to go. Thankfully, it was not hot outside. This should be stated on all websites as that was highly inconvenient and quite frankly unacceptable. No transparency at all, Also, Expedia should have an area to list if you will be bringing pets so the hotel may review it and deem acceptable or not.
Constance
It was very clean.

Clean low cost hotel for road trippers
Clean low cost roadside hotel. Clean bed and good nights sleep. Nothing fancy but did it’s job for weary road trippers.

Typical of most motels now a days
Room could have been cleaner. Didn't look like anybody has cleaned behind the toilet in a long while. Small spots of black mold along tub edges. Bed was comfortable. Pool should have been open, but was closed for \"maintenance\". None of which could be seen as the pool was sparkling. I don't consider \"breakfast\" to be a cup of coffee, juice, and pre-packaged muffins. Staff was very friendly. Please don't respond with your standard \"canned\" response.

Excellent service fair price comfortable bed AC very cool

Was kicked out for dirt on a sheet. Felt very disrespected after an extended stay
Ferney
Is clean and comfortable, friendly service.
Ashley
Clean, comfortable and affordable.
Stopped here for a short overnight stay on a road trip with our 2 young kids and dog (late arrival/early departure). The room was clean and comfortable and didn't break the bank. Cheerfully decorated/updated. No weird smells, and quiet - couldn't hear the people next door. One large dead beetle in a corner but I'll take a dead one over a moving one! Woman at the front desk was very friendly.

The staff at this motel were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and quiet, would definitely be staying here again. Thank you.

Very good place
Chris
Stopover for the night was comfy.
The hotel was clean and the rooms were in good shape. Our linens were clean, the air conditioner worked great, and the shower had great pressure and readily available hot water. The owners have taken care of their investment.
Stephen
Close to interstate and areas we visited.

Enjoyed our extended week end
Check in was easy. Room was clean and cool. Room was a little on the small side. Ac worked great. Water pressure and heat of water were amazing. Pool was clean and kids were able to swim. If in the area we would stay again.
Geoffrey
Great place with fair price close to Santa Rosa
James
There were 7 dead insects on the bathroom floor. I could
not get my standard width wheelchair past the beds to get to the bathroom. You could see light & feel air around 3 sides of the door. NOT handicap accessible.

Parking in front of room is super convenient

Our stay at Day's Inn
The room was clean, bedding was clean, but the beds are so ridiculously high off the floor you can't get on it, and not only that, the mattress is so hard you can't get comfortable
Phillip
The hotel was under renovation, it was an old building and the area was a mess.
Sally
Great renovated motel. Excellent for the type of property, simple amenities. Great if you are in the area and need a place to sleep. We were visiting family. Will stay here again.
Bruce
Some fixtures and racks need updating- showing age
Kelli
Friendly staff. The outside does not look very inviting, but the interior is very nice. Large refrigerator, microwave, Keurig. TV allows you to sign in to streaming services. Very pleased.
Christa
Very clean and very nice staff. Stayed here for just a one night travel day and it would worth it. The renovations are great and the bed was comfortable too. Don’t let the bad reviews stir you away from this place. It’s great!
Kelli
We enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the parking lot had a drainage issue and water was pooled bu parking spots. It was difficult to get into your vehicle without getting your feet wet. It was not due to rainstorms.
Debra
The check in was good, but what I saw on the website versus what happened. I thought it was paid for online, but the lady said it was just reserved online.
It was rather upsetting they were couldn't park in front of our room as there was a massive puddle there.
The room was clean and we really appreciated they're they didn't have any carpet on the floors.

The staff were nice. However, the floor of the room was very dirty, we could feel the grit on our feet when walking. I had to literally wash me feet after walking from the bed to the bathroom and back. Also, the bedspread was white and there was a large stain on it. It is a place that I would not choose again.

Just as good
The room was just as clean as the expensive rooms we've stayed in. Granted it didn't have all the bells and whistles but it served its purpose.
Jacqueline
Room was not cleaned daily and towels were not added daily.
Pool was closed. When I make reservations in the summer I expect to be able to use the pool. If it is closed the customer should be notified and allowed to find another place to stay and their deposit should be refunded. I will never used this hotel again or recommend it.

Upon entering the room, we took our shoes off. The flooring throughout the room was terribly dirty. A face towel with a bit of water was used to clean the floor. Prior to us cleaning, our feet were sticking to the floor. The soles of our feet were black, rubbed off on the bedding. We left the property, had to procure another room. Terrible…..
Glenda
This is a good, clean, basic motel. It's convenient and easy to get in and out of. The people were helpful and friendly.

Loud music being played in the parking lot, room had a musty smell.

If a good shower is a priority, pass this up
The motel was recently remodeled with a new tv, nice big refrigerator and microwave. There is not carpet in the room which in our case was wet and sandy as we arrived during a deluge. I was not a fan of the flooring.
The shower was not a plus for this location. I took a cold shower with weak water pressure as it appeared another room shared our hot water supply. My traveling companion could not get water pressure either due to the tub pull not working. She got a very low pressure luke warm shower.

Great hotel right off interstate so quick and convenient. Rooms were clean. Bed comfy. Several restaurants nearby and also a Walmart
Samuel
Front desk service was nice
Desirae
Place was ok, nothing too spectacular. It got me thru the time I was there. Night staff was very friendly. Just was upset that my room was cleaned properly when we arrived and while we were there. Morning breakfast was a muffin and no juice or anything.
Sabrina
Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Little crowded in parking lot.
