The property is very specious. The view is amazing. The bus stop is very close to the property and I only used the buses to go around. There is a beach you can walk in 10 minutes but if you take the bus in 10 minutes you can go to Anse Royale beach which is much nicer.

The place had a great view. Bed was super comfortable, good wifi. The owners were very sweet and helpful. I was even able to book transport with their help. The beach is a short walk and there is a little mini market right next to it. I was also able to walk to the couple restaurants and the Rum distillery. Definitely great value here.

The room was huge, with a kitchen, sitting area, dining room table, large balcony with an ocean view, large bathroom and large bedroom. The hotel is walking distance to some attractions/places to eat and drink, a little grocery store, and the bus stop. Peter is a great host and accomodating, as well. I highly recommend this place.

It was our first time in Seychelles and the experience was definitely unforgettable and amazing ! The condo was clean, quiet and very comfortable with everything equipped. Location was perfect for us. Close to the beach, dinning and bus stop where we were able to get a bus to any location. Very safe. People were very warm and welcoming and property owners very sweet. We want to thank them for every given day to us and for making us feel home while being on vacation. Very clean too. We have our condo cleaned daily and had new sheets. We will be back and for sure at the same spot.

The apartment was very nice. Very large. No view from downstairs apartment. Basic dishes. Sugar, milk and tea provided. Full kitchen. Large bathroom. Iron and ironing board. TV channels in a lot of languages. Sufficient secure parking. Residential neighborhood in the hills.
Our problems: It was not communicated to us that we had to arrange an exact time to be at the property to meet the owner for formalities. You have to keep in touch by phone (WhatsApp). You cannot get into the parking area unless someone opens it from the inside. You need a gate opener once you are checked in. The access is extremely steep. Our little manual rental car almost didn’t make it up and in. The living room air conditioner leaked and we had a lot of water on the floor. Since we only stayed for two nights and knew that the owner was busy, we didn’t get it fixed. It gets hot there! You have to keep the curtains closed. We had to leave very early and couldn’t reach the owner. Then you have to have someone keep the gate open and take the keys back to the room and come back to get out. There is no separate door. If you can figure out the logistics, it’s a nice place!

The property had spectacular views of the ocean from the balcony. The apratment was well maintained and cleaned regularly.
The only downside was that I did not have a car and the hill to the property was quite steep but managable. Transport and the beach was within walking distance.

Everything was excellent from the start to the end of our stay. Peter was an amazing host! Super friendly and helpful in every way and beyond. We will never forget him and his wonderful family. Apartment was very nice and clean with separate aircons both in the bedroom and living room. We were supplied with plenty of clean towels throughout our stay and new bedsheets. Nice and quiet beach in walkable distance from the property as well as a bus stop to take you to the town or Anse Royal beach which takes just a couple minutes to get to by bus and is really beautiful. Small grocery shop just 1 minute walk away. Local people are very friendly and nice to talk to. This place was the best we could ever ask for and if we ever come back to Seychelles we know where to go :-) This really is a piece of heaven on earth. No wonder why people are so happy here.

We had a wonderful time at the Dar & Douce. The room was very spacious and clean, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the mountains. Peter and Indra were so very helpful and very kind, so we felt very welcomed. There is a beautiful beach just a short 5-10 minutes walk down the road, and a little mini market also less than 2-3 minutes away. We can highly recommend this place. I give this apartment a 5 star. Peter is a great host. Love the building and all the amenities. Waking up to an early morning sun rise and ocean view. Recommend having a car though as the building is a little up the hill. Apart from that I enjoyed the apartment and would definitely recommend .

I highly recommend Dar & Douce Apartment to those who are planning to travel for leisure or for work, this place is perfect for you. The hosts of the apartment Mr. Peter and Mrs. Indra are very hospitable, they became our mother and father during our stay. They are very approachable and we saw that helping other people is truly in their hearts.
We stayed their for 9 days for our quarantine and they provided all our needs.
The apartment is well maintained, very neat, peaceful and with spectacular view.

Checked in for 2 days as unexpectedly needed extra accommodation due to flight rescheduling. Welcome fantastic and all modern conveniences. Possible to stay utilising public transport, however a hire car, at least for a few days, is beneficial to explore the beaches all around.

Our hosts were truly amazing, friendly, generous, and caring. Pete sent a driver to meet our ungodly 2:30 am flight. Indra was gracious to drive us to a quick tour of the area and helped us shop for some supplies.
Our stay was perfect, even with one day of heavy rain, the apartment is so relaxing, we did not mind staying in and chilling.

The owners and the staff were very helpful with any and everything between cleaning, recommendations for places to go, and even the owner personally coming to get us when our navigation system led us to the wrong location. Definitely recommend the location and would stay there again on any return trips to Seychelles.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay. This property is 5 stars all the way! We had everything we needed for self-catering and a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean. Indra and Peter were very helpful hosts. We would highly recommend these apartments.

The property is quiet and the hosts are very welcoming. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the craftsman village, a restaurant, and the beach, and having a parking space was a plus. While we enjoyed the area, we highly recommend renting a car for more freedom—just be prepared for a very steep access road that requires good hill-start skills!
Our only disappointment was the sleeping arrangement. Despite booking for two adults and two children, the advertised sofa bed was just a standard sofa. Although the host kindly provided an extra single bed, sharing one double and one single bed between four people wasn't ideal or comfortable. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Dar and Douce und der Vermieter ist wirklich super nett und immer erreichbar. Das Apartment war geräumig und hatte alles, was man benötigt. Fehlende Dinge hat der Vermieter zügig zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen und netten Nachbarschaft und ist auch nicht weit zu einer Bushaltestelle. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.
Das Apartment liegt an einem Hang und der Weg bei hohen Temperaturen und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit ist teilweise beschwerlich. Da sollte man wissen. Das Schlafzimmer konnte man leider nicht richtig abdunkeln, da die Vorhänge zu klein waren und es hätte noch ein bisschen sauberer sein können (Schränke, Schubladen). Auch war es recht hellhörig Ansonsten alles super.

We stayed for 4 days and we really loved Dar & Douce, especially the amazing views from the apartment and Peter’s hospitality. We did not have a rental car but found the place conveniently located for travelling by bus.

A menos de 15 min. del aeropuerto. Imprescindible tener coche para poder disfrutar de cada rincón de la.isla y para acceder al apartamento, ya que está en una colina.

Excelente acomodação, acredito que o mais difícil seja a subida, mas pode fazer tranquilamente, visto que grande parte da ilha é com este tipo de terreno, apartamento muito completo com tudo o que você precisa! Os anfitriões são muito amigáveis.

Wir waren 5 Nächte bei Peter und wir würden jederzeit wieder hier herkommen. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und war sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Blick aufs Meer ist atemberaubend und man sollte auf jeden Fall früh genug aufstehen und sich den Sonnenuntergang gönnen. Nicht zu übertreffen ist außerdem die Lage der Wohnung. Man ist super schnell am Flughafen und in Victoria, aber gleichzeitig ist man auch sehr schnell an den schönsten Stränden auf der Westseite. Eine bessere Lage gibt es nicht, um Mahé zu erkunden. Würden jederzeit wieder genau hier her kommen.
PS: Da in andere Rezensionen der Hügel erwähnt wurde, auf dem sich die Wohnung befindet. Wer damit wirklich Probleme hat, sollte keinen Mietwagen auf Mahé führen. Die Straße zur Wohnung ist normal und überall auf Mahé sind ähnliche Straßen auffindbar, die ähnlich eng und steil sind. Wen sowas überfordert, der sollte lieber mit dem Bus fahren.

Verblijf van vrijdag tot maandag, was mogelijk om vroeg in te checken. In het weekend is de kamer niet schoongemaakt en ook geen schone handdoeken. Appartement is heel ruim, netjes en compleet. Prachtig uitzicht over de zee vanaf het balkon. Peter, de eigenaar is een heel hartelijke man, neemt de tijd om met zijn gasten om een praatje te maken.
