Perfect for a solo traveller who want lone time
I truly enjoyed the time at Tropical Hideaway as a solo traveller. The proximity to the sea and the mountain, not to mention Olleh hiking trails, made it so perfect. Only downside is reataurants because most of them close relatively early. Swimming pool was almost to myself during the day, and the bathtub after night run made my day.

Stayed for 4 nights, breakfast is either egg Benedict or French toast served on alternate days, will be better if there is more variety. Requested for plain bread as one of us was down with tummy discomfort but kitchen staff were unable to accommodate the request. Place is otherwise nice, facing sea, complimentary drinks

I can’t rave enough about this hotel. Amazing location, super friendly staff, delicious food, and the private bathtub on the balcony was fantastic. I will definitely return to this hotel in my next trip to Jeju. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. The room we stayed at was very nice. The decor was very luxurious. We enjoyed the terrace. Views were amazing of the 2 brother islands. There should be more signage from the parking lot to show where the reception is. There is no 24hr desk. Staff was very kind and polite. Free breakfast was well done. The area around it is a bit dead, but that was alright since we drove in anyways.

Great boutique hotel with a lovely view. Great breakfast and pool and overall well appointed. The room however is extremely dusty and the bed is so very firm it’s not at all comfortable. I am used to very firm ‘Asian style’ mattresses but this takes hard to a new level.

Beautiful property! Just like how you see it in the pictures. A lot of nice extra little touches by the hotel staff too - for example they gave us tangerines (it was tangerine season), a nice amenity kit (in addition to the standard kit that was already provided), good breakfast, good views. Really nothing to complain about if you’re driving!

Lovely place to stay in the southwest of Jeju Island. Very close to attractions on the east and south (Seogwipo) areas. There's a charging station in the parking lot. You will need a car though, makes travelling in this part of the island a lot easier.

Newly renovated cute hotel with fancy decors, nice features, like the infinity pool and huge bathtub on the balcony. Complimentary American style breakfast is certainly a plus to the great overall experience.

Overall this hotel was very beautiful. Absolutely loved our room with the ocean view. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was very delicious. Having a parking lot and the convenient store & restaurants nearby was very convenient. The only thing that I think the hotel can improve on is the refrigerator in the room because ours didn't work. I also think it would be helpful to have a 24 hour front desk service for early check-out & late check-in.

We spent 6 nights at Tropical Hideaway and we absolutely loved it. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the facility is beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't have a rental car as planned, but there were things to do and see in the immediate area within walking distance. There were many restaurants close by and we also ate at the hotel several times because the food, while not traditionally Korean, was delicious.
It was a nice surprise to be able to see the Jeju women divers right outside our window one morning! Much better than the tourist \"show\" that is available!
The large infinity pool was heated to a perfect temperature as was the smaller soaking pool. The sauna was small but big enough for two and the lounging cabanas were very comfortable.
There were only a couple of things that would have made our stay even better.
1) Since we didn't have a vehicle, a washer and dryer would have been great.
2) The mattress was rock hard. Literally. It makes sense since Koreans, in general, prefer a firm surface for sleeping but after 6 nights, our backs were screaming. It might be nice to have the option of a softer mattress topper if needed.
3) It isn't possible to get anything other than coffee, tea, or water with the included breakfast. That is probably not an issue for most people but, personally, I don't drink any of those things so having an option to purchase juice or a chocolate latte would have been welcome.
Overall, we LOVED our stay and will return!!

There were a few smaller things we found a bit weird, but we really did not like one incident: after finishing dinner in the cafe and already on our way to the elevator, one staff member demanded us to return our tray to the counter. We did not know then that this was expected (and also found it a bit surprising given the overall positioning of the hotel) but wouldn't have minded if we had been gently reminded to do it the next time. Staff requesting a paying guest to walk back for this instead of just taking care of it themselves is not acceptable in our view.

Beautiful and calm location. \"No kids pool\" gave a very relaxed pool experience. The view from the room is amazing - definitely try relaxing in the bathtub and admire the view. The staff was very nice. The hotel has a sister location a few minutes walk away with a restaurant called Mukjeon - specialised on Korean boiled pork, Korean savoury pancakes and seafood - don't miss this place, food is absolutely delicious here!!! Tropical Hideaway guests received a generous 20% off. The only thing that I see improvement for is that the beds are too firm.

This was hands down the best hotel my wife and I stayed at during our honeymoon. The building is new and well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, including the outdoor bathtub. You get a great view of the sunrise, Hyeongjeseom Islet and the coast from your balcony. One of our favorite experiences from our trip was relaxing in the tub on our balcony at night, watching the full moon and enjoying a beer after a long day of trekking around the island. There's also a heated pool on the second floor that opens out to the outside area as well, which was a nice bonus for us. The nearby area is pretty quiet and sparsely populated, but there are a number of restaurants within walking distance, including a good black pork bbq spot just down the street, along with two convenience stores. The cafe on the first floor of the hotel seemed popular as well. They serve mostly western dishes that we didn't try, but we enjoyed some draft beers there, including from Magpie brewery.

Situated in a quiet area of Southwest Jeju away from all the cheesy tourist attractions and crowds. Great dining options at the hotel and in walking distance. Amazing view from the room and from infinity pool on the 2nd floor. Everyone at the hotel was attentive and so friendly. Strongly recommended to those visiting and also to the locals to stay here.

Das Hotel ist ein Traum! Tolle Einrichtung, sehr geschmackvoll. Der Indoorpool ist richtig cool und man kann sich selbst die Sauna anmachen. Da Nebensaison ist, haben wir jeden Morgen das Frühstück vorgegeben bekommen - aber es war trotzdem sehr lecker. Nur ein Hinweis: ohne Auto ist man dort aufgeschmissen.

Wonderful in almost every way. Great views, wonderful breakfast. Love that it is not a buffet but a different brunch menu every morning.
My only negative comments are that the walls seem a bit thin, so if you had loud neighbors it wld be hard. Also the floor of the pool is very slippery. I was afraid to walk around.
But overall one of the best hotels ever! Plan to become a regular!
