This was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was incredible, including a huge bathtub, and right on the beach looking out into the ocean. It’s also right on the Olle Trail, so there was tons of great walking nearby. Breakfast was something to look forward to each morning, it was delicious, and the restaurant next door was great. Highly highly recommend the Zen Hideaway.

During our two week vacation in South Korea this was our favourite hotel to stay in.
The location is nice, close to the coast. The staff was good at addressing issues. We had an issue with the water heating in our room and the staff moved us to a different room right away.

Breakfast was nice, both the Korean and American style.

The room was clean and the tub was nice to use. The bed was comfy. Would stay here again!

This is a gem of a hotel. We particularly liked the restaurant food and ambience. As a vegetarian, I had been having a difficult time in Japan and S Korea. However, the food for both me and my omnivorous wife was first class. Accompanied by the best view you hope to find.

Very nice hotel but the staff work at odd hours. There is no one at the checkin counter (in fact it’s blocked off with a barrier) outside of the times of 3:30 to 8:30pm. You can ask for help at the restaurant upstairs but they don’t open until 9am. To check out we just left our keys in our room because there was no staff in the hotel when we left at 8am. Breakfast hours are 9-10am only, which delays the start to your day, and you can’t choose your food (only choice is between Korean and Western, what those include is a mystery). The food is ok but the menu is the same everyday. The hotel food from their restaurant (lunch and dinner) is good and has a wide selection. The view is beautiful. If you want room service, you can call them and place an order but you have to pick it up from the restaurant yourself and carry it through the parking lot. Worth the effort though.

The property not been maintained properly - perhaps during Covid period. The bathrooms look a little old and rundown.. The safe boxes in the bedrooms don't work (remember they only have 10 rooms, and yet they cannot even replace them), they don't even have teaspoons in the rooms to stir the coffee. No sugar nor creamer given in the rooms. Essentially pretty run down state. I even had a manager ask me if I wanted our room cleaned! The first time ever..

This was a beautiful property with an amazing view. The only thing that wasnt great was the fact that the front desk is only open during the day. We had to checkout early but there were no instructions on how to do so if front desk isnt open. Was a bit of a hassle to figure out, so perhaps if they can have that information somewhere, it would be better. Otherwise excellent hotel, would definitely stay again.

Fabulous stay at Zen Hideaway!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with a 5-night stay at Zen Hideaway and it was a wonderful experience. From the easy check-in (and check out process) to the impeccable service staff to the room with amazing view - we really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you also for the champagne and cake for our anniversary. This isn’t our first trip to Jeju but this one’s the best so far!

My favourite hotel on Jeju! I love everything about Zen Hideaway. Thos stay however I would say the room felt in need of a little attention. This is unusual. My sink had a crack, a hook was falling off the wall and the side floor was loose.
Enjoy the view, the bath and the breakfasts. I do wish breakfast could be later than 9am. It’s so early!

Incredible! Such a unique setting our room was beautiful. Lots of windows with amazing sea views. We slept with the doors open listening to the sound of the waves. It was too cold to use the pool, but it is stunning and also has amazing views.
The restaurant is always fabulous, but this was my first time having breakfast there. This was nice as it was so quiet with only guests eating there then.
I really hope I can stay again.

Our stay at Zen Hideaway was mere excellence. I have been traveling quite some places, been to plenty luxurious Five, Six, Seven-Star hotels, and I have to say, Zen Hideaway was above and beyond. We stayed during Christmas, and they surprised us with a bottle of champaign and a chocolate cake! Room was exceptionally tidy, sheets white and new, bathroom spotless. And did I not mention the view. Oh my, the VIEW. You sleep with the gentle lullaby of the tide, and wake up to see this beaUtifUL sky and ocean, it is just incredible. We were debating about which Hotel to go between HiddenCliff (don’t know if I can mention this XP) and Zen Hideaway, and boy we are glad we made the right choice. When we ever go back to Jeju Island, this is where we’re staying. Period. BTW, breakfast was amazing, too.

Unbelievable hotel at an unbelievable price

It was GORGEOUS. It couldn’t have been any nicer and it is a trip we will remember forever because of Zen Hideaway. The only things I would recommend is for them to put n ironing board and iron, extend breakfast hours from 7 or 8am, and to make the back porch lights dimmer at night so we can enjoy the darkness of the ocean.

I felt like I was a celebrity because the hotel room was so beautiful.

The location was great, with many options for restaurants, cafes and convenience stores. It’s a short walking distance to the coast, but it’s still recommended to hire a rental car before arriving as the town does not have a convenient/extensive public transport system. The interior and exterior of the hotel are as advertised. We definitely had a wonderful and comfortable stay. The breakfast, serves a fixed a la carte menu daily, the food is tasty but you would definitely get bored of it after 2 days. The breakfast/cafe area is really chic, you’ll definitely enjoy the experience.

The perfect hideaway to escape from city life

This hotel is a hidden gem especially if you are at Jeju for relaxation. It's location is in a desolate corner, but if you like a peaceful stay and awesome view, look no further. Fortunately, there are a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance, but if you are going out at night, bring torchlight so passing cars can spot you as there are very minimal street lights. Service is very good and the staff are very accommodating to our requests, just note that the front desk is not 24 hours and if you can't find anyone there, try requesting for help at the restaurant, which is run by the same folks. Cleanliness can be improved in my opinion, but should be fine for most others. I stayed in room 105 and the furniture is a little older than what is in the pictures. The other problem I've faced in this duplex type apartment is, climbing up and down the stairs. The wardrobe is awkwardly placed in the lower living area where the bedroom and bath is upstairs and I had to climb up & down many times per day. The single floor typed apartment would have made more sense, though it has a small tub which lesser privacy. Overall, a tranquil resort worth your time and money; with some improvements and tweaks, would be a really one of the best places in Jeju.

We loved our room at this small property, and I think it will be a great experience when they have finished construction. When we visited there was serious construction underway on the pool and on the reception area. It was a bit odd having workmen sitting and smoking and staromg into our room. As reception was closed, we went into the restaurant, and they offered us a tea and a seat at a table while someone was going to come get us. We sat for a while, they brought menus, and no tea. Eventually i asked when someone was going to come get us, and we were told 30 minutes, as they were cleaning the room. This was at 4:00! We were eventually told our room number, but we didn't know where to go - the room numbers are not clear from the outside, and there are many different stairs you could take. A staff member then showed us our room. The room itself is very nice indeed, with a huge concrete tub that could seat 6. It has large windows and sliding doors out to the pool area (which will be great in a couple of months, i think).

There were other communication problems. I asked for the hours of the restaurant and was told 9 to 10. However, that was the hours for breakfast, and the kitchen stopped taking orders at 8:00 pm. Some of the food in the restaurant was good, some was quite odd. Generally the staff tried very hard to please, and i liked them. However, the customer service and the experience was not up to expectation given the price of the rooms.

Even better than pictured!

We stayed in a duplex room for two nights and the facilities and decor were just amazing. In particular, the large bathtub with the ocean view and the thoughtful touches to the interior particularly impressive. At first, I was hesitant to book such a small hotel with so few reviews, but Zen Hideaway offered an amazing boutique hotel experience that you can't often find in Korea. If you stay here a rental car is a must as the location is a little far from the main resort areas. However, there are several sites within walking distance in a variety of restaurants to try. The area that the hotel is located in is recently developed and offers some trendy places to eat as well as good local restaurants. In addition, although it was far from other places that we have stayed in the past, I enjoyed how quiet the area was. The restaurant at the hotel offered amazing food as well as pleasant dining experience. The only negative aspect of our stay was the large number of mosquitoes outside of the patio doors. It seems that there is water cooling somewhere near the hotel. This might seem like a small thing, but there were actually hundreds of mosquitoes out any of the patio doors. However, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jeju. It was an amazing experience and I hope that I can visit again in the future. I have visited Jeju four times and stayed in major resorts as well as smaller hotels in Zen Hideaway by far was my favorite experience.

Amazing Boutique Hotel!

We fell in love with the place the moment we got there. The hotel with its infinity pool is set right in front of a dramatic coast line in a quiet corner of Jeju where a cluster of quaint local cafes/ restaurants may also be found. The room was spacious and clean, and the decor was modern Korean with accents of retro chic. We really enjoyed the comprehensive and wonderful amenities, like the audiophile sound system, the private hot tub with killer views and the complimentary drip coffee, herbal teas, chocolate chip cookies and cold apple juice. The manager was very friendly and helped us in finding our way around, especially as our Korean was limited, and recommending restaurants for our meals. I'll definitely be back!

作為一間酒店，應該有清潔房間的服務，我住三日兩夜第二天我們一早外出遊玩夜晚8:30返回酒店，入門後，見到一個大膠袋，內裏裝住一些新毛巾、牙膏牙刷、一罐可樂、一罐雪碧、兩支水。我心知不妙，行上房間發現睡房沒有整理床單，亦沒有清潔洗手間，連爆滿的垃圾桶也沒有清理掉。因為當時已太夜了！就不想再聯絡酒店職員（可能已經下班了）。洗澡後便上床休息，個人覺得酒店位置很好房間亦不錯，但是這些清潔問題如果不到位對酒店的聲譽很有影響。

Very nice hotel in a great location close to the sea. The rooms a nice and clean. A highlight is the jacuzzi inside of the room.

The breakfast is somehow unusual. Instead of a classical buffet you need to choose between a korean and an american/englisch breakfast on the day before. The breakfast itself is very delicious but it is served exactly the same each day. Some variations would be nice.

However can greatly recommend!

젠 하이드어웨이에 숙박을 하였습니다,

개인적인 사정으로 출장 일주일전에 다리를 다쳐서
자쿠지, 수영장 등등 이용을 하지 못하여서 많은 아쉬움이 있었지만, 사장님 비롯하여 모든 스텝들이 친절하게 도움을 주셔서 편하게 2박3일을 보낼수 있었던 것 같아요

조식도 최고구요 한식/양식 둘다 퀄리티가 좋습니다.

잘쉬고 업무 잘보고 가요 ! 다음에는 회복해서 찿아 오겠습니다.

후기가 좋아서 선택했는데
아주 탁월한 선택이었어요~
뷰도 너무좋고, 인테리어 하나하나 고급으로 신경안쓴부분이 없더라고요~
왠만한 5성급보다 만족도 높아요^^
친절하고 아침조식도 너무 맛있읍니다
다만 가끔 화장실 하수구 냄새가 올라와
문을 닫아놓아야 합니다ㅜ
그외에는 완벽한 숙소입니다

아이들과 수영장을 이용하기 위해 갔는데 정작 호텔 수영장은 운영을 하지 않고, 사용가능한 옆 호텔은 노키즈존이라 이용을 못했슴. 북킹시 이에 대한 안내도없었슴. 다만 미안하다 인정은 하셨슴 . 안내가 제대로 안된점은 너무 아쉽고 조식도 안내에는 열시까지라고 되어 있는데 아홉시 반전에 오라고 전화옴. 아이두명과 갔는데 추가인원. 전반적으로 직원분들은 친절했고 자꾸지는 좋았슴. 다만 가성비는 별로 라는 생각이 많이 들고 두번은 굳이.. 라는 생각.

여행에서 모든것이 만족은 처음!

일에 지쳐 아무것도 하지않고 쉬고싶은여행이었는데 모든것이 너무만족스러웠다. 냄새 못없애는 5성호텔보다 컨디션도 좋아요~가성비 최고!
산방산 우뚝보여서 운빨받기 좋고 어디서건 물망하기 좋고 방억서 해뜨는것도 보이고 레스토랑 같은 직원 친절하고 아래층 요즘힙한 라이프워크 옷도 몆개 사고 커피에 진심이데 커피맛 정말좋아요~ 여행중 모두만족은 처음 젠하이드어웨이 다시갈것같아요~

환상적인 위치, 깔끔, 친절, 맛난 조식

환상적인 바다경치를 볼 수 있는 장소에 위치하고 있음. 조식은 브런치와 전복죽이 제공되는데 모두 깔끔하고 정갈했음. 개인적으로는 브런치 선호. 스테프들은 모두 친절하고 상냥함. 복층룸에서 숙박을 했는데 화장실이 2층에만 있어서 왔다갔다하는데 약간의 불편함이 있었음.

숙박기간 중 돈벌레가 나왔습니다.

큰 맘 먹고 여름 휴가를 갔는데 시설이 나쁘진 않았습니다. 문제는 아주 큰 돈벌레(그리마)가 세면대에서 나왔습니다. 늦은 시간이라 벌레를 스스로 잡긴 했지만 맘편히 잠을 잘 수 없었습니다. 호텔 안내문에도 작은 벌레들이 붙어있었습니다. 가격을 생각했을 때, 청결 측면에서 아쉬운 점이 큽니다.
