Had a wonderful stay with the family at Motel de l'Anse à l'Eau. We were impressed by how clean everything was—we’ve never seen a bathroom so gleaming at a motel before. Clearly the staff take great pride and care in their hotel. The front desk staff were kind and supportive as well, they spoke with Expedia directly to modify our booking and provide a refund for the last day when we had to depart earlier than expected. The location is great too, walking distance to restaurants, boulangeries, and the waterfront. We would happily return to Motel de l'Anse à l'Eau on our next trip to Tadoussac and recommend it heartily!

The rooms are dated and had carpeting which is not good. However the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to visit and restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are facing the street which is noisy. No breakfast available. A little pricey for what you get.

Bien situé mais un peu bruyant puisque la 138 est collée sur les chambres côté Ouest.

L'hôtel est un peu vieux mais super bien entretenu et propre. Parfait pour un voyageur solo qui ne va pas passer beaucoup de temps dans sa chambre.

My husband, 2 teenagers & I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The 2 queen beds were comfortable, the staff was very welcoming & warm, & it was a short walk from the harbour/downtown Tadoussac. The bakery across the street was great for breakfast every morning.

We arrived and the office was closed from between noon and 2 I believe it was. Not a big deal, but I was not aware of this. We did some site seeing while we waited. The lady at the check in counter was very friendly and nice! Spoke English and French. Room is very basic. It is dated. But it was clean. Hotel is next to a busy road so a bit noisy at times. We went to Tadoussac to tour the village and go whale watching so the room did the trick for us to sleep in.

Very well located property especially if taking the whale watching tour - office next door and departure point across the street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Building is older but in, generally, very good shape. Our unit had a very nicely upgraded, modern bathroom. Being on the ground floor we were reluctant to leave the sliding patio door open with just the screen in order to get some air circulation, so the room was somewhat stuffy in the hot weather. Upper levels would be better for this. Overall we were very happy with our stay at this hotel in this beautiful town. Thanks to the young lady who checked us in.

Accommodation is expensive in Tadoussac so I can't really find fault that I thought the price was high for what we got. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and the location is good - convenient for walking everywhere and close to the ferry. This is important as you can leave your car in the free Hotel parking and avoid the paid parking everywhere in Tadoussac. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Well located and it has a parking place, but the premises, hallways and decoration are very old and uninviting, the highway could be seen from the bedroom window, no breakfast, despite being listed in the ad, no housekeeping is offered (bcs of Covid, they said). The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Not all of them speak English though.

Everything was nice, it was my second time at this place, the nice thing at my arrival was that everything was explained very clear about what is open or not in the village and what time the clerk is off at night but he told me we have an emergency number just in case in the book in the room plus the code for free wifi and al that during almost off season and i noticed alot of improvement to the terrain to relax, the only thing missing is air condtioner for hot summer night but its not a big probleme so in all...it is perfect

The hotel is clean, new and good. But the room gets very stuffy during the night, and we had to sleep with the windows open (ground floor). It was ok, as the area is very safe, bear or human wise. However, I found the cost of $200 per night high. Tadoussac is a very pretty area, where we were also lucky to find a great real French food restaurant right across the street from this hotel. it a great Motel - very convenient location, close to Ferry Terminal as well as main street with many attractions. Many restaurants and shops are within close walking distance. Great boulangerie just a few stepe across the sreet. The staff is very friendly and helpfull - everything is done with a smile. Very clean and freshly smelled. Provide coffee in the room. There is a store with souvenirs and nessessities as well as gifts. The receptionist advised on a great meal for use in the evening.

I really liked how big the bathroom was. The mattress was firm, but I actually slept really well. The staff are very friendly, and were willing to help out as much as they could with anything. Bilingual staff, which is great - welcoming to English speakers. Lots of places to park the vehicle. The room was very clean. The wifi was spotty at times.

Staying two nights bike touring the Saguenay, we dined at a restaurant across the street; many others are nearby. Anxious that I might stay awake by frequent noise from cars and trucks to/from the nearby ferry. I was not. However, prudence might suggest bringing earplugs.

The man at the front desk was nice enough but the room was from the 80s, almost had the feel of being an old half-way house. No airconditin and the room was almost unbearably hot. The screen door was there but there was a light on constantly on the porch so the light would be too bright in the room.

This two bedroom cottage located at the very end of Perce is great for stay with friends. There is kitchen and living/dining room, bathroom and two bedrooms there. You need a car to go to center of the city but it is normal, no problem. I like this stay and if I need to stay in Perce again I can choose this place without any doubt.

The motel was very clean and the owners were very helpful and welcoming. The only issue we had was that the electric sockets in the room would only work if the lights were on, which creates a problem if you wish to recharge your devices overnight. This resulted in having to use an extension cable from a socket in the bathroom. The main road from the ferry runs at the back of the property but our room was at the front and so not too intrusive.

We were two adults and one teenager visiting Tadoussac on a very tight budget, during the high season (August).

The motel was easy to find, a few minutes away from the ferry. It was reasonably quiet despite being located near two roads. The price for the room was reasonable. The decor was very, very simple. The room provided the basics (bed, chest of drawers with lamp, small table with chairs, cable TV, balcony, bathroom with soap, shampoo and linens, hair dryer, coffee machine with K-cups, no telephone). A folding bed was provided for an additional fee. We inspected the room for bedbugs and everything was very, very clean. The staff was warm and helpful. The motel offers a continental breakfast for 6$ as well as parking, which is convenient.

The motel is 20 minutes away from the marina by foot. There are a few restaurants near by. Across the road is a fabulous bakery which we took advantage of. Next to the motel, a path leads to a lake where swimming is possible, which is nice in warm weather. Hiking is also possible in the area.

Overall, our experience was satisfactory. We would select this motel again if given the opportunity to return to Tadoussac because it allowed us to take full advantage of local attractions without breaking the bank!

The only problem is the room is very hot , even with a small fan and a ceiling fan.
Somehow, the wind can't come through the only one \"opened\" window (even though
it was \"cool\" outside). We were in room #10 (2nd floor)
