Nice pool, killed a roach in my room, no fridge or microwave so all my stuff from Florida spoiled! Very disheartening. Beds very uncomfortable. I had to stay 4 days but being across from Weeki Wachee was the only plus side. TV was small. Nice counter top for getting ready and staff was really nice. Questionable neighbors. Sitting outside their room smoking ouid which traveled to my room cuz there is no weather stripping on the doors. You can see outside.

Too cold for the pool but the area was clean and nice. Rooms are old so you know how that goes. There were a couple things I wished they cleaned better like the the area above the shower, like they forget to wipe that down. But overall it wasn’t dirty or bad. Staff were friendly and efficient. Ice machine worked! Make sure to pack water because they don’t have a place to fill your water bottles. Overall we would stay here again.

Despite the big red signs saying “NON SMOKING PROPERTY” the place REEKED of cigarettes and marijuana. When we first entered the room, there was a beer can in the garbage, beard clippings in the sink, and the place STUNK! We asked the front desk if we came too early and they said “no, the cleaner has already been there and sprayed” I asked them to do it again and they were very accommodating and apologetic. The toilet and shower leaked all night. And upon coming back the second night, the room once again reeked of cigarette. Unfortunately there rooms failed to meet the level of customer service. Will not be coming back.

The room had bubbled ceiling paint, the air conditioner was exremely loud and rickity, the bed was not comfortable, there were people all over sitting outside at all hours smoking pot and other drugs, the door latches seemed unsafe, there were 2 bugs crawling on the sink in the bathroom area, tub/shower drain was broke, internet box made humming noises all night (high on wall). I didn't feel safe at all. Took all of my luggage inside out of my vehicle.

Just got back from a 6-day stay and unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience.

The staff was pretty rude most of the time, and we never once saw housekeeping during our entire stay. Trash was never collected and the cans in the halls were overflowing. No fresh towels, no sheet changes, and no toiletries were provided at all. The room also didn’t have a microwave or fridge, which made things pretty inconvenient. We also couldn’t find an ice machine anywhere on the property the entire time we were there. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either, so getting a good night’s sleep was tough.

One positive was the poolside view from our room — it was actually beautiful and looked very inviting. Unfortunately, the pool temperature felt about one degree above hypothermia, so actually enjoying it was another story.

I will say the “wildlife”… or shall I say the interesting characters around the property… were definitely entertaining at times. 😅

Overall, I guess for the price you get what you get. Just sharing our experience so others know what to expect.

The staff was kind and friendly, and the room was fairly clean overall. However, the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in quite a while. We also had a non-smoking room, but for some reason people kept smoking right outside our door, so cigarette smoke was noticeable in the room. Other than that, the stay was okay.

Front desk personnel very friendly but after that this place is the definition of a dump. DO NOT spend your money here. Dogs left unattended for hours barking late into the night, people smoking marijuana and cigarettes directly outside your room late at night with the fumes coming in through the improperly fitted exterior door of you room. Piles of filthy laundry and stacks of beer bottles left outside or rooms for most of a day, etc. Booked for 3 nights, left (without a refund) after 1. If you need a budget friendly place to stay, you are better off finding it elsewhere.

The room was disgusting. I didn’t expect much considering it was a Motel 6. The bed had dead nat bugs under the top covers. Upon looking the mattress cover had so much slop and saliva stains on it, I had to sleep with my clothes on and use something I had brought with me as a blanket. The bathroom exhaust looked like it had not been wiped in a year there was so much dust on it. The bathroom towel had stains on it. Also if a good wind came through the room door probably would have opened. I could see outside and feel the wind blowing through the opening of the door. The room needed some tlc as far as cosmetic issues. It cost nothing to be clean and the desire to want to offer a good product. This owner should have paid me the $135.00 I paid to stay here.

This hotel saying that I stood there for 3 days and robbed me for a hundred and $172 after I didn't show the first day they saying that the room stood empty which are lies because I've been to that hotel The only thing that keeps that place open is weeki wachee across the street they would not keep a room available for 3 days if I was a no-show the first day then they didn't want to return the money that stupid Expedia sent to them before I even showed up to the room they had a room available made double the money and I still not wanted to refund me they refunded me one day which is BS because I know the rumors rented twice they're a bunch of crooks is ghetto as hell there's people and crackheads walking everywhere around there like I said the only thing that keeps that place open is we can watch your across the street if not it would have been closed downlike a bunch of idiots

Tub was filty so we asked to have it cleaned. When we arrived back that day it was still filthy and was told the cleamung crew was gone for the day. My wife cleaned it herself. After taking a shower there was 4 inches of water in the tub and not draining properly. Some did look at it and it appeared to be draining okay. A couple of hours later I heard noises and found the tub drain had backed up. Room does not have frig or microwave.

The staff at this location were nice and caring, but the room was not good at all. A large cockroach by the bed, leaking sink and tub, black hair in the sink and on the toilet. The sheets were probably washed, but the brown blanket and top cover smelt like a dog had slept on it. These dirty blankets made all of the blankets stink. I used my beach towel as a cover to stay warm. The floor had a dirty film on it and made my feet dirty. I had to leave to door slightly open to combat the kennel smell. I had to take allergy medicine to combat the headache that I got from the smell. My dog had her own clean bedding that I provided and is very clean smelling due to proper baths. The dog walking area was a minefield of at least a hundred uncleaned dog deposits. No doggie bags or deposit stations to in courage people to clean up after their dogs. During the night my motel’s neighbor had to take her dog out during the night and had a screaming meltdown about stepping in dog deposits during the night at 3:00 am. So, no one got any sleep that night. I recommend some repairs, wash all the bedding, spray for bugs, and mop the floor. Also, a walking area with a plan for doggie bags with a deposit station.

I signed up to go to Quality INN and Expedia switched the site to Motel 6. When I clicked for directions, it took me to Quality Inn. When I went inside and told them I had a reservation they said I was mistaken and at Motel 6. Your website sucks. It did it repeatedly. Sometimes it would change the dates. If you didn’t notice, it’s tough crap because of your no- cancellation policy. The room was dirty, so smelled moldy, had cockroaches. I spent an hour son the phone but got the “there’s nothing I can do,” lines.

You owe me $82. I will never use Expedia again and won’t hesitate to tell others of what a farce you are.

The room was pretty clean. I did have to clean the toilet seat myself because it had a bunch of stuff on it. but there were no roaches!!! the bedding was comfortable. there was no smell. very impressed for a motel 6. staff was really friendly. my only hang up was there was no mini fridge or microwave but that's probably why there was no roaches. I would definitely visit again. plus it's right across the street from the weeki watchee springs state park.
