Shower drain was slow and had to keep stopping the water to prevent flood, so not ideal.
Breakfast was ok but no option for vegetarian suasages, margarine etc which is a shame as oat milk was available!

The staff was very attentive, the room was clean, and the all-day coffee was wonderful. Ikonik is located close to the Hop-on-Hop-Off bus. I walked everywhere and went to Hungarian restaurants outside of the tourist spots only because the staff gave great recommendations. I would stay there again!

Can't beat the location...easy to use public transit from airport, accessible to all major transit lines to the city, great authentic Hungarian restaurants nearby (Kispiac and Tukory Etterem), and short walk to the parliament and waterfront. Very safe neighbourhood, and breakfast was great. Rooms are clean, and exactly what you need... A clean and quiet place to put your head down after a day of touring.

We had a great stay at Ikonik Parliament for 5 nights in November. Rooms were clean and spacious and well presented with hot drinking facilities in room. There was also a room where you can make a coffee/tea/ latte etc near bar downstairs. Housekeeping made up room every day without fail. Receptionists were all very welcoming, friendly and informative. The breakfast was also varied and of good quality.
The hotel was within walking distance of all local attractions, very near Parliament and the river Danube. Bars and restaurants were also near. We highly recommend this hotel if you come to Budapest for a visit.

Requested a twin room for my friend and we were given a double. However, we were quickly given a triple room as this was the only room they had left. This room was very smokey, and no other rooms were available. But the staff were amazing in trying to fix all these initial issues.
Spa wasnt available either, which was disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. A sister hotel 10 mins walk away was given as an alternative, which we did accept, but there were no changing facilities other than a toilet with no lock on, to change in.
Breakfast was fine and the room was clean (other than the smoke!).

The hotel was two blocks off what I imagine is the main street in Budapest. There were lots of shops and restaurants.

Also, keep in mind that the shuttle service they advertise is not included or free, it might cost you about $50 to get to the airport...

This is a good hotel if you're out and about during the day doing your sight seeing (or working) and what you're looking for is a comfy bed and a decent breakfast. It's a good location - easy walking distance to the Parliament building in particular. Comfortable, clean, quiet room. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful

My personal experience is that this a safe and quiet hotel. It is clean and the staff are friendly. On the downside,the advertised Laundry service is of little use. On the sheet it suggests next day return of clothes or even the same day if you hand other your clothes before 09:00 and pay extra. However, I took my laundry down on Thursday and was told it wouldn't be returned until Monday (and I was leaving bon Sunday). I did find a nearby launderette though. Also the hairdryer started to catch fire when my partner tried to use it. They replaced it quickly but did not take the old one away! This is just my experience others rate the hotel higher than me so maybe I was unlucky.

Great location most attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk. It’s not on a super busy street, so didn’t deal with much traffic noise. Parliament building was about 7-8 minute walk. St. Stephen about a 15 minute walk. Margaret Island 20 minute walk. Danube Shoes 15 minute walk…. Offered me a super early check-in at 9:30am. Also if you are club person Morrison 2 was about a 12 minute walk away. But would def stay again. A/C was blowing straight snowballs. Slept like a baby.

We had a lovely room on Level 5, however, the lift shafts are very noisy and we had to be moved as it was keeping my husband up at night. The top of the lifts were clanging on the roof of the lifts everytime someone used the lifts
