my family and I have stayed here multiple times before and this was nothing like our previous experiences. we are from Tonala and this used to be our favorite place to stay, the staff was always supper attentive and went above and beyond but in the past couple years i’m not 100% sure but i’m pretty sure they have a new management company. our old concierge is no longer there and when we asked about him no one knew who we were talking about. The water from the showers and sink smelled absolutely horrible. i don’t think they are properly cleaning the tinacos they store their water in and half way into my fathers shower the water just completely stopped. the restaurant there used to be out favorite place in the whole city but that has also changed. they advertise in both elevators the restaurant saying it’s 24/7 room service but when i called to place an order we were told last call was 9:30pm…. there are many other hotels in the city that we would rather stay at at this point and will not be back.

Stayed originslly prior to cartel violence. We were supposed to drive back to Puerto Vallarta that day. Hotel staff alerted us to danger and we decided to stay. Hotel staff were fantastic although overwhelmed by added guests. particularly in restaurant which quickly by guests who could no longet go out safely.
Particular shoutout to oler gentleman waiter who worked tirelessly for what seemed like days, since no relief could get to to hotel with transportation shut down.

He even helped removed the plastic zips that the airline added to the luggage. Check in staff was nice. But the other times not as much. The restaurant ladies were great, on top of making sure we got everything we needed.

An excellent room for a reasonable price. An attractive hotel near the historical center. Only drawback in the room - no refrigerator. You may have to uber to get to the lively restaurant areas at night, but this wasn't a problem for us. A good breakfast buffet available for MX$ 225. Attractive public areas. An up-to-date bathroom.

I reserved a room with a king size mattress, when I checked in, the receptionist blamed Expedia for letting me reserve a king size mattress room because they didn't have a king size mattress available, so they gave me a room with two beds and it was me and my wife.

I called the hotel before arriving on December 26 to confirm whether adding an additional guest would require canceling or rebooking my reservation. I was clearly told by staff that no changes were needed and there would be no extra charge.

De todos los hoteles que visite en mi viaje a Mx, éste fue mi favorito, desde la llegada hasta la salida. Cuenta con parqueo propio, super seguro. Te reciben con mucha amabilidad y dispuestos a ayudar! Debo resaltar las atenciones de Alexis quien nos ayudó con nuestras maletas, nos conversó del lugares claves y nos dio información para los tours de la ciudad (tour a tequila) que no nos arrepentimos!. El hotel está en el centro, muy cómoda ubicación, nuestra habitación super cómoda, limpia, y nada de ruido de la calle.

I was not told about a breakfast option so I went out everyday to eat . The coffee in ten room after the first day I had to pay . The electrical outlets in the room only worked by one side of the bed and the other in feb restroom . The bed was old and uncomfortable .

Three stars because I reserved a room with king bed but upon arrival I was given a room with double beds and no refund for the difference in rate, was told by the receptionist, with no apology, that it was not their mistake but one of the site I made the reservation through, that they don’t know why it occurred but I could take it up to them. I did, expedia did no corrections or refund difference on rate. Not happy about it but at least we discovered a good hotel as far as cleanliness and comfortability. Over all, I’d recommend this hotel, next time

The best feature of this hotel is the proximity to the historic center. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel continues to be very clean and comfortable. However, certain upgrades to the rooms are recommended. The electrical outlets need a little work. When you plug in your electrical cords they are very loose they don't stay on the outlets. This is probably my fourth time staying here and I would love to come back in the future.
