Hotel Gracanica is a multi-ethnic boutique design hotel under Swiss management in a peaceful countryside setting on the outskirts of Pristina. The hotel has 15 rooms and features an outdoor swimming pool, a garden with a view over fields and hills and a restaurant offering local home-cooking including a choice of vegetarian dishes.
It is ideally located to explore Kosovo, with all major towns reachable in max. 1 1/2 hours.
The hotel has geothermal heating and air-condition, its own sewage treatment plant and many other eco-friendly features. The hotel has two meeting rooms, one seating up to 20/25 people, one up to 8.
Lunch Monday to Saturday 12pm to 2pm and longer, dinner every day 6pm to 9pm. On Saturdays, we offer a special meze (tapas)

The hotel is in a peaceful quiet area where you can relax after a flight or a journey since it's near pristina airport also breakfast was very good served in or outdoor in a very nice nature.

I stayed at Hotel Gracanica with some family and friends, leading up to, and including the night of my wedding. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and supportive leading up our big day - to the extent that it felt they were celebrating the occasion with us! This, combined with pristine facilities, scenic views, and nice food / drinks - created a home from home experience - great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

Rooms are simple, a bit spartan, poor on amenities, but very large and comfortable bed.

Hard to know how to review. We stayed at so many other hotels in Kosovo and the Balkans where we were blown away by the service, attention, care, etc. Here the service felt very blah and indifferent. Also the air conditioning in our room never did anything to make the room (with direct sun exposure all day) remotely cool. The grounds and pool are very nice. The food is good. There are doors everywhere that you have to open and close (e.g. between where you get your breakfast and where you sit). Strange design. If based on Kosovo standards, it's definitely very nice. If based on its claim to be a boutique hotel, it was just fine.

The area is lovely, with a nice view over the fields. Really nice pool area! Room was spacious with big Windows and a little patio. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We stayed for two nights in a big first floor room in September on a rental car tour. Room, bath and breakfast was very good. The garden and pool area is very nice. Dinner was OK and service good.
However, a bit unusual for us was that staff had occupied the best table on the terrace from morning until evening. Looked in part like a family with 2 or 3 dogs lingering around.
The monastery is well worth a visit. Try the coffee machine😀
