We visited Lismore Gateway Motel during the Covid 19 Pandemic at a time when the travel restrictions had just been lifted. This caused a surge in the numbers of people travelling and we were lucky to get a booking. The pandemic had caused staff shortages across the hospitality industry and Lismore Gateway Motel was also dealing with this problem.
Brad and his team were very professional in the way they dealt with problems arising from this situation. They worked hard to ensure that their guests were comfortable and satisfied with their stay and the services provided by the motel.
We have family in Lismore and will be staying at Lismore Gateway Motel on all our future visits.

Another expensive $160 per night motel in a country town! Recently built and in very good order! Swimming pool that I did not use! Nothing in the fridge apart from the milk! Difficult to get a beet but Dan Murphy is just up the road. Restaurant was not open ? COVID 19 stuff! Overall very good but the shower is better in the Bounty! And the food is great in the Bounty restaurant!

Happy with all the workers, food and bar staff. On departure I received an unusual email about their bank details changing. I dropped back in to check what this has to do with me as they had my cc details to make final charges. The lady at the counter was explaining it to me when an older gentleman interjected uninvited and was as rude as ever, smug and sarcastic. After this I have made the decision to never return to this place again. Unfair to the rest of their team as they were excellent. I will make regular visits to the area, around 30 nights a year and will be looking else where.

Big well appointed bathroom but was lacking a few essential toiletries like bath / shower gel. Used the shampoo in the bath and then that was it. Lovely well presented breakfast. Fairly basic facility, clean neat and tidy but felt pretty spartan, good if you are not looking for luxury, a great bed and a quiet nights sleep was what I desperately needed and got. Happy :)

This is easily the best motel in Lismore. It is relatively new, fresh, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. All rooms have a very pleasant balcony that overlooks the pool. The pool area with its well tended tropical gardens and water feature creates a relaxed holiday vibe.

Amanda and the staff at Lismore Gateway were exceptional. Nothing was a problem - from having a few drinks in the lounge early afternoon to finding my mobile phone which I left behind. Great service. Comfy rooms and bed too - with a large bathroom. Two points for fellow travellers: Sundays are very quiet - no lounge or dining room service. Also the rooms in the back overlook many homes which can be quite noisy. The hotel is in a great location and we will use it again when we are in Lismore. Thank you.
