Nice lake side position a few kms out of town! Watch out for the floods! I stayed 10 days at $240 a night and there was no service, no cleaning during that time! Not recommended!

We understand that the recent flooding resulted in the property not being at its best & are sympathetic to the owners position however we were appalled to find the sheets had not been changed (evidenced by crinkled sheets, blood spots on sheets & pubic hairs). There was no one on site to change sheets so in an attempt to be able to manage hygiene we decided to turn the sheets over. When stripping the bed we had a large black beetle crawl out of the bed linen. We opened the linen cupboard to find very bad mould patch which in our view was unsafe. We did not sleep well & because of these conditions I had an allergic reaction causing an asthma attack. We intend making a formal complaint to the star rating and motel association.

The room was spacious and had everything expected for an overnight stay. Ability to sit outside rear of room, overlooking man made lake built for nesting birds.
Unfortunately the lake is currently a puddle due to drought conditions.
Not ideal for light sleepers due to highway traffic.

Gazebo and BBQ out the front of my unit. Excellent spot to enjoy a cup of coffee after a long day of working. Very relaxing to watch the sunset. Loved the large open space of the rooms, unlike some other motels that I have stayed at.. I would highly recommend, I will be staying here again. The motel is on the main road with good access, but it is set far enough back so that the road noise during the night is virtually non existent

Business trip to town. Unwelcoming check in and room reeked of cigarette smoke. Have been staying here for twenty years with a couple of years break since last visit. Hotel has become tired and unfriendly and won’t be staying again sadly. Time for a renovation of staff and premises!!

Booked 4 rooms. One room door didn't lock at all. Wifi didn't work in furthest room. Complimentary biscuits were stale and had an ant in them. Bad smell in one room was found to be a room service tray with left over food that looked to be days old.

I stayed to attend a 50th Birthday Party, the price was value for money. The room was serviced daily & although on a main road out of town it was extremely quiet. I appreciated having a fridge, toaster & microwave available & the room was clean & comfortable with free wi-fi access.
However, each morning there were ants in the Bathroom - 'marching' down the wall into the sink, although they disappeared after a short time. The exhaust fan cover was in need of cleaning. The fridge was unbalanced.

I stayed here about ten years ago, when it was considered one of the better motels in Lismore. It still has the large rooms and comfy beds, and the out of town setting with a view from every room.
However, some of the little things are not keeping up.
My shower was not hot enough, which isn't good in winter.
The supply of tea and coffee was very small, though I appreciate the fact they provide fresh milk in recyclable bottles.
And my greeting on arrival was positively unfriendly, a locked door and getting yelled at to wait by someone on the phone, in the middle of the afternoon.

A pleasant stay, with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Only criticism is that the aircon is a bit dated, under powered and noisy so had to turn it off at night (but I stayed warm enough). Another first wold issue was that the hot water in the shower didn’t get above mild in the morning.

Shortage of cutlery, had to share one knife and one teaspoon. Road working gang arrived at approx 4am Four vehicles parked outside motel rooms,vehicle engines, lights & voices woke us. Semi trailer, also part of this road working group, drove along very rough road at back of motel,, also at approx 4am, and turned to park near motel still creating disturbance to us & no doubt other motel customers. .

Great staff and lovely location BUT the smell in the room was musty and gross. The top sheets were stinky as were the decorative pillows. Due to mosquitos it’s not possible to air the rooms properly. i couldn’t stay there again with much nicer properties in the area for the same amount.

We spent 2 nights at the Lakeside Lodge Motel and we found the room to be very clean and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. It was very relaxing watching the ducks on the lake from the verandah and being on the edge of town made it very peaceful and quiet. My new place to stay in Lismore.

The room was comfortable but the only problem was the shower. The hot water wasn't hot. By the time the hot water actually got hot, I was finished but the hot water didn't get hot enough to warrant using the cold water and the exhaust fan didn't work. It's the 2nd time I've stayed there and as I will be working in Lismore on and off over the next few months, I'll be staying there again.

Good central location for access to Lismore and local surrounding areas with a pleasant lake outlook. Even though this motel is on a main road it's quiet. Visit the Spotted Pig in Lindendale for lunch (15 minutes away) and the Lismore Farmers Market on Saturday morning...We recommend Augustine's Bar for a quiet drink in town and the Bircher Bar Cafe for a healthy snack.

Worst customer service ever

Made online booking and arrived at 9.00pm to an empty reception despite open hours being until 9.30. After repeatedly ringing the door we resorted to knocking on window until night manager appeared. Rudely stating that we didn't have a booking and that it was impossible\".
This denial and no apology occured umtil he finally found our booking about 10 minutes later. Appallingly service.

Friendly 'country stay'.

This motel is situated just outside the city center - but an easy commute into Lismore. It has a lovely 'country' feel. The staff are very friendly and check -in was easy. The meal /s were 'home made' and excellent.

A little deceiving

Hotel was not quite overlooking a lake, so photos are a little deceiving. The hotel room was clean although a little dated. The staff however very friendly and welcoming. Located on the main road some would probably find it noisy but we didn't find it that bad. There is a nice walking track right outside your room which we enjoyed after driving for hours. A good rate for what you get and situated just a little out of town.

Wheres the lake?

Lake was a dry weed bed, Mattress worn and uncomfortable. Seemed to be missing the microwave?, and plenty of road noise. Im sure that we must not have stayed in the some motel as all those satisfied guests!

We were hot, tired & hungry, when we arrived & received a friendly welcome. The room was clean & spacious, The air conditioner was a bit noisy,but it worked well. Our host cooked us a delicious evening meal & delivered it to our room in less than an hour. The next evening when we arrived back,the room had been serviced & the Air-con left on to cool the roomfor us.
