Firstly, I was booking non smoking room but it was smoking smell in the room while I checked room 1218, although I have double check with the staff before checking in. I talked about the issue to the front desk then asking me to move to 1607 ( non smoking room) on the second day. I have spent time to move this 1607 by myself. Finally, this room was ok. Secondly, regarding swimming pool, they asked the guest to purchase their swimming cap to swimming, guest cannot swimming without swimming cap. But no any notice to let us know while we booked the room regarding swimming cap. It was unreasonable request to the guest. We already spent decent money for staying this hotel, their services value must match their fees. Plus, the swimming pool is a third party operating not belongs pan pacific hotel Beijing. If we know this before, we would not book this kind of hotel. Should be clearly to the agreement otherwise will be deem breach agreement.Overall, the stay for this time was ok only. I hope that they can apologize for this unexpected experience.

Conveniently located hotel with good bones, but just no longer a five star hotel. The hotel is worn; draperies were sticky and in need of cleaning or replacement. Windows had smudges from other people’s noses and foreheads. The shower floor had grime and mildew. Employees kicked food dropped on floor under the food cabinets. Men’s locker room had at least 30 used towels on the floor.

We recently stayed at the Four Seasons, which is a whole different caliber of hotel. Pan pacific is not there. We were surprised Pan Pacific doesn’t inspect more often and train better. Surely this isn’t Pan Pacific’s desired level of quality.

Having said all that it was a decent stay, just not 5-star.

The Pan Pacific Beijing is located at a quiet cosy neighbourhood and easily accessible to The Joy City mall nextdoor, where most retail shops and F&B outlets which you need, are represented. Highly recommended for both business and family travels. Will revisit again when in Beijing next.

Wonderful stay

The hotel is in an excellent and convenient location, close to many popular attractions, trendy shopping malls, and traditional Beijing residential areas. The staff are exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile to ensure all our needs were fully met.

I would especially like to mention Mr. 宋大明 (Mr. Song Daming). As foreigners, we had difficulty booking tickets to some museums, but Mr. Song patiently helped us plan our visits and made the bookings with us. Thanks to his thoughtful and dedicated assistance, our trip to Beijing was much more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Nice comfortable room. The bed is comfortable. However the pillows are too soft for me. Need to request for other kind of pillows.
Plus point: coffee machine but the taste of capsule coffee is so-so only. Not original Nespresso coffee. Breakfast buffet has decent range of choices.

Disappointing Stay

I stayed for six nights at this hotel and, unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The breakfast was mediocre at best, lacking variety and flavor. The furnishings throughout the hotel were quite dated, which made the overall experience feel less luxurious than anticipated.

Extra bed was extremely uncomfortable—super hard and difficult to sleep on, far from what I'd expect at a higher-end hotel.

Overall, this hotel doesn't live up to a five-star standard. While the staff were friendly and the location was decent, the room quality and amenities need significant improvement. I would rate this stay a 3 out of 5 stars.

Stayed here for six nights. Although I asked for payable extra bed on first night, I was issued a room without extra bed. As it was past 1am, I requested for upgrade the next morning. Paid for upgrade to enjoy free extra bed, access to lounge, two pax breakfast even though I had three. So far pleasant.

Amazing stay, cleanliness and service wonderful. The staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with the booking of tickets to tourist attraction, changing of dates and refunding us. We indicated that it was for a birthday celebration and when we arrived to the room it was nicely decorated. We checked in and went out, by the time we came back they surprised us with a birthday cake in the room. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Accessible to metro within minutes of walk. Shopping malls and selection of restaurants nearby. Just a stop or 2 away from forbidden city and tiananmen Square.
Upgraded to a suite. Pleasant comfortable stay with family of 4. Staff service was great, even with last minute request for transport to great wall. Thanks for the arrangement.

The hotel room is huge and clean. Staff are friendly, especially Mr Neo, who offered to help us to purchase the forbidden city entrance ticket online, and etc. The hotel is just located besides a huge shopping mall 'Joy City', with lots of international brand and local brand shops and resturants. There are also afew 'older' shopping mall along the streets. A local food eating house is situated just across the hotel, and also afew local food stall at the older shopping mall nearby, so gettting economical meals is convenient.

Convenient location

Location was good. The room was very warm as the thermostat could not be changed, this made it uncomfortable to sleep through the night. We stayed 3 nights so it was quite tough. We had a faulty shower which we requested to be fixed and this wasn’t done.
All else was good.

The hotel was about a 15 Min walk to the metro. Lots of shopping in the area. Lots of people too.
I would like to commend Kevin Kang for his exceptional service in helping me retrieve my items which I had accidentally left behind when I checked out. He arranged for its delivery to another city where I was n followed up to ensure I had received them, even though he wasn't working that day. Thanks for giving me peace of mind. Examplery service. Keep it up.

I would strongly suggest the hotel provide some seating in lobby. There were none.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed in room 1525 and it was beautiful and clean. I’m very particular about hotels and this met my standards. It was refreshing to go out and explore during the day and then return to such a lovely room. Staff were very helpful. Not everyone spoke English fluently but it was easy enough to communicate. Good location that is close to Xi’dan metro stop and 2 stops away from Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city. There were many upscale stores and typical food courts located in the shopping mall down the street. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Facilities are new. Very close to malls and within 10min walking distance to the nearest subway. Most of the major sightseeing spots are two or three stops away by subway. Although I would expect a more active refill of bottled water in the room, it was still overall a great four-night stay.

We stayed 4 nights and were sad to leave. The beds were super-comfortable, and the large, deep bathtub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The pool and sauna were terrific. We didn’t try the lunch buffet, but breakfast and dinner were excellent. After dinner the servers convened as a band and played live music in the bar area (fun and not noisy: one family member was too tired to stay for the music & said the hotel is so well-constructed that he could no longer hear the band once he left the lobby area).
All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. We especially appreciated the concierges and cleaners. One tiny complaint is that one night we asked for extra drinking water and it did not arrive; we suspect that the cute little delivery robot was intercepted by another guest.
This hotel charges more than most for an extra rollaway, but we knew that before we checked in.
The location is great, convenient to major sites and the metro. Lots of restaurants and and coffee shops nearby.

Highly Recommended!

Very nice hotel in a great location! The subway is not a far walk with only 2 stops to get to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. There is also a lot of shopping and food just around the corner. Our room was beautiful and had plenty of space. Service was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good too (buffet spread with western and Chinese options and cost 150 RMB/person). We had a great time and I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Beijing :)

Wonderful staff, professional and friendly. Enough of them had English as a second language, so asking questions was never an issue.
My China visit was work related in Xian, and decided to stay an extra 3 days in Beijing. Getting to the Hotel from the Rail Station was easy, the weather was clear and cold, typical for February.
It was a great visit, I see no reason to try somewhere else on my next visit.
The Guest Relation Manger, Jahida, and her boss, Bill, were extremely helpful during my visit and ensured I got to the airport with no complications. Many Thanks!
