Our stay at Castelfalfi was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the property’s breathtaking beauty was immediately evident. The views of the rolling Tuscan hills from the Olivo Restaurant and the spa pools are absolutely unparalleled – it’s a scene straight out of a dream.
I had the privilege of proposing to my girlfriend here, and it was truly magical. The setting was perfect, and the staff made it even more special. Benjamin, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. His hospitality made all the difference.
I can’t recommend this place enough. We indulged in a wine tasting, which was an incredible experience. The tour of the facilities was informative, and we even had the opportunity to taste some of their finest wines in their beautiful underground cellar. Every glass was a testament to the quality and care they put into their production.
Dinner at the property was equally impressive. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. It was a highlight of our trip.
During our stay, we also had the chance to explore the charming town nearby, where we enjoyed coffee, gelato, and pizza while soaking in the stunning views.
The spa experience was a major highlight. The massage was incredibly relaxing, and the spa’s serene atmosphere was the perfect complement to the natural beauty surrounding us. The pool area was pristine, offering a peaceful oasis to unwind

Castelfalfi is a tucked away paradise in Tuscany. I was genuinely wowed from the moment I stepped in the lobby. Besides the beautiful views and the amazing rooms, one of the best parts was the service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, at home, and fully taken care of. The little details and surprises every day were amazing. Thank you Benjamin for upholding the perfection of hospitality!

I would also like to call out the restaurant thats right in the hotel. Every dinner was spectacular. The specials each night were to die for!! I am normally not a big hotel breakfast girl but everything was amazing each morning and they remembered all of my preferences after day one.

I recommend doing the wine tour early in your stay so you can try all of their wines made on property, pick your favs, and order them throughout your stay.

Lastly the spa is beautiful and the massages are so professional and well done!

Probably one of the nicest properties I’ve ever stayed at. GM Benjamin greeted us upon arrival and was so attentive throughout our stay. The grounds are stunningly beautiful. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet is unmatched! Staff was amazing. Honestly, if I could give it 6 stars I would. And if you’re going to see Andrea Bocelli in Lajatico (which we did!), there’s no better property!

Breakfast was excellent, food and views at Olivinia were lovely but the food at Il Rosmarina was (in our opinion) overpriced and fairly average. The village of Castelfalfi (a 5 min walk from the hotel) is stunning and the food and wine at the local cafe (La Taverna del Castello) are outstanding. We would definitely visit again!

Everything about this resort is 10 star. All employees provide a level of service that is far above other hotels. Food & wine selections are superb. The setting is gorgeous with breathtaking views. The rooms and hotel are beautifully decorated with guests' comfort prioritized. The Concierge staff helped us plan unique and fun activities that immersed us in the beauty of Tuscan countryside, people, culture and food. We enjoyed the golf course, met interesting people, did a lot of walking and took in the views while relaxing on the patio. We toured nearby towns, did wine & olive oil tasting with food pairing, toured an organic cheese farm, had lunch at a new vineyard. Many thanks to staff & management for providing such a top quality experience. This is an outstanding property.

This was one of our favourite places to stay for our honeymoon! The staff were amazing, the wine tastings and views were incredible! They upgraded our room for free which was extremely kind and they had all kinds of activities and things for people to do. We even enjoyed horseback riding through the vineyards and rented Vespas to go to the near towns. I would recommend this place over and over again!

We had an incredible stay at Toscana Resort. The resort has some of the most stunning views in all of Tuscany, and the quality of Italian food at it’s various restaurants was second to none. The staff were extremely helpful, we felt very well taken care of. The hotel itself was impeccably designed, with a lot of attention to detail. The Suite was very Modern, Comfortable, and roomy with luxurious bathroom and amenities. The views 9f the property are breathtaking and the resort has multiple restaurant options, shops, art, and vineyard. Activities and facilities are abundant and within one hour drive of Florence.

The Property was very family friendly for children or all ages but also wonderful for a vacation with your spouse or self. Very relaxing serene property- will definitely visit again next trip to Italy.

I stayed here with my wife for 4 nights in July, and we were extremely happy with our choice.

The property is like stepping into a postcard, every inch is beautiful and breathtaking.

We loved the activities they offered, and the staff was always happy to help with anything.

The spa was great, and wish we would've used it more frequently.

I highly recommend doing Archery if you're staying here, it was so much fun.. even my wife who typically wouldn't enjoy such activities had a blast.

The breakfast was the best we had in our 2 week stay over Italy.

I will be staying with them again!

best hotel experience in Europe. We travelled for 15 nights.. from Switzerland, France and Italy.

Castefalfi was the best!! Room was perfect, modern, all the 5 star amenities. The restaurant options superb. Pool and Spa.. like you were in 4 seasons or Park Hyatt. The hotel grounds are huge.. hundreds of acres.. no joke.

They have their own little village and castle.

You can take trails, bike ride, rent a motorcycle.. drive to nearby towns.. take a wine tour, cooking classes... so much to do.

Our only mistake.. we only booked 2 nights. Book 3 night minimum.

We are working to make our way back in 2023.

Its not close to Firenze Airport. its a solid 50 mins drive. The drive is beautiful. I would hire a car or rent a car. Renting a car is ideal if you rent from the Firenze airport.

Love this place. Great staff. Bravo, well done.

Property was beautiful. Front desk people were very kind and eager to help with any request. Housekeeping forgot things on a Daly basis which was frustrating. No wash cloths one day, another day glasses weren’t replaced. Bed linens not changed on appropriate day. GPS does not lead you to the hotel which is extremely frustrating at anytime but especially after 24 hours of travel. Hotel need to put signs on roads to help. GPS directs you to golf course, not hotel.

This was a truly exceptional hotel. I am already looking forward to going back at some point in the next few years. The staff were some of the most attentive and pleasant I have ever encountered. They really go out of their way to ensure everyone at the hotel is making the most of their stay.

They provide an itinerary of all things happening at the hotel so you can take in Yoga, Wine Tasting and loads more. My wife and I had a cooking class with the head chef, Davide. He had an incredible background at some varied locations so enjoyed all the tips he gave us and the tour of how a professional kitchen works.

Being on a vineyard and growing their own food where possible also meant everything was so fresh. Their wine selection was excellent and very well priced.

Lastly, they also were very attentive to the Covid-19 situation and made every precaution necessary that people felt safe but comfortable all around the hotel.

This hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. The staff are very welcoming and were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful! We enjoyed all three restaurants on the complex and would highly recommend them! La Rocca di Castelfalfi is such a lovely restaurant, with outstanding food and service and beautiful views. We highly recommend Hotel Il Castelfalfi and can’t wait to return!

The hotel is beautiful but unfortunately the staff and management at front desk and main restaurant inside the hotel were just rude and lacked customer service skills. Honestly we were so upset with how we were being treated that we will not stay there again!

Durante nossa visita, tivemos experiências inesquecíveis: participamos de uma caça às trufas, fizemos aulas de culinária e uma deliciosa degustação de vinhos. Cada atividade foi cuidadosamente organizada e refletiu o carinho e a dedicação da equipe.

Best place for a honeymoon

A wonderful stay for our honeymoon! Loved every second. Surprisingly, the hotel is even better than the photos suggest!! It’s really so so beautiful, it feels like living in a painting. We will be coming back!

Ps: recommend renting a car, as transport is quite pricy!

Highly recommend giving Castelfalfi a visit!

Empfehlenswertes Hotel in Top Lage mit super Pool

Nach anfänglicher Enttäuschung (Zimmer zur Straße und Wellness Bereich geschlossen) gab es ein neues Zimmer mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf die toskanischen Hügel. Pool, Restaurants und Bar sowie die Lage des Hotels sind sehr gut!
Service ebenfalls sehr gut; sehr aufmerksames Personal im gesamten Hotel (Lobby, Restaurants, Pool, Room Service, …)

Lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at Toscana Resort Castelfalfi. Staff was very helpful and professional. The hotel grounds were beautiful and very well kept, we especially loved all of the art that was displayed and the amazing views over the rolling hills of Tuscany.
The amenities were modern and of great quality.
For the standard and size of the hotel, the spa could definitely be bigger and offer more. Sadly, the Finnish sauna was out of order throughout our stay. However, we understand that the spa will be enlarged soon.

Très mauvaise expérience

Nous avons séjourné une nuit seulement dans cet hôtel ( heureusement )
Nous avions choisi une suite avec vue ( la suite et le balcon sont assez petits et surtout les vitres pour pouvoir profiter de la vue étaient extrêmement sales !)

Mon mari est malheureusement tombé malade pendant le séjour, j’ai appelé la réception pour qu’ils nous amènent un thermomètre, ce qu’ils ont fait, il avait 39 de fièvre. La réception m’indique alors : «  si nous pouvons faire quoi que ce soit, n’hésitez pas » . Je leur demande donc de nous monter une bouteille d’eau pour qu’il puisse prendre des médicaments, cette bouteille d’eau nous sera ensuite facturée …15 euros !
Plus tard, étant fiévreux, mon mari avait froid et ils nous étaient impossible de réguler la climatisation de la chambre, la réception nous indique qu’ils nous enverrons quelqu’un… nous n’avons jamais vu personne…
Le room service a été très long a nous servir également, et surtout, c’était immangeable car extrêmement salé. En ce qui concerne les aménagements de l’hôtel, je ne peux les juger car nous n’avons pas pu en profiter. A 1700 euros la nuit… pour une chambre sale, petite et une vue gâchée par la saleté … passez votre chemin!! Les autres hôtels dans lesquels nous avions séjournés auparavant en Toscane étaient fabuleux ( rosewood, Castello di Velona, etc …) avec des services et des suites superbes, et moins cher en plus.
Il y a donc beaucoup mieux si vous cherchez des beaux hôtels avec des vues imprenables en Toscane
