The lovely lady at the front desk was very helpful! At first our shower was not boiling hot, and the AC was not blowing out hot air, but the water was fixed within the first night, and we got the AC changed the 3rd night. Lovely place and near everything, but be careful at night with some dodgy men trying to get inside; always close the door behind you.

The room and bathroom were tidy. However, the room did not have the usual European plug sockets. Breakfast was not included, reportedly since COVID-19. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

In general, the area around the main train station (Roma Termini) did not feel particularly safe or clean to us. That was our experience, although the location is convenient for many things.

Horrible area, felt unsafe. No breakfast. No iron in the room. Toiletries were basic in sachets. Room was basic. Good bus and train links but had to take long buses to see all popular sites. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Comfortable stay, poor surroundings

The hotel itself was decent and fairly comfortable, but the surrounding area left much to be desired. It didn’t feel safe to walk around, especially at night, so I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travelers. One issue we had was that our entry code stopped working, which could have been stressful if the front desk hadn’t been available to reset it for us. Overall, the stay was okay, but the location and security concerns made it less enjoyable.

It was a small boutique hotel.
We were on the 1st floor which was nice. The staff is amazing.
The area was a bit gritty, but I felt completely relaxed and safe.
Roman ruins are everywhere nearby, easy walking distance.
Under a 5 minute walk to the train station and a really nice supermarket.
Many, many dining options within easy walking distance.
Definitely would recommend

Overall property was great. Close walk from the main train station. Staff was super friendly and helpful with how to use public transport. Felt pretty safe as you use a personal code to get into both the hotel and your room. Location is a little dark at night (not too many lights) but didn't ever feel 'unsafe'. Good and comfortable stay!

The area doesn’t look very safe. Lots of graffiti however we never felt unsafe. Super close to the train. You can walk to the Colosseum. Plenty of places to eat. Grocery store & convenience stores really close. The hotel is clean. The rooms are a good size. The front desk women were all super friendly & helpful.

Hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. Joanna gave us a lot of important informations about the city and things to do. Thank you!!!
Hotel is located close to Rome Termini station. It’s not the greatest neighborhood but convenient location. Few good restaurants and pizzerias near by, Open 24/7 little store on the corner.
Rooms are in retro style, bathrooms freshly renovated. Overall good for the money.
Make sure you have the combination code to the front door and your room if you’re going to check in after 9pm.

The staff was amazing at the hotel. Super helpful and informative. The room was good and clean. The building was also very secure. I’m a more used to 24 hour front desk staff because where I am from. So if you’re going to check in late just make sure to let them know in advance and they will give you the information for the entry. My husband and I were very happy with our stay.

The hotel was very clean, bathroom seemed recently refurbished, and the reception staff provided great recommendations for the metro, breakfast and other dining options. Overall, a great stay, and of course very convenient access to Termini Station which was our main reason for booking. Be aware that the area itself is very dirty and unwelcoming but it's still an easy walk or metro from the hotel to the main attractions. The nearby San Lorenzo (~200m away) is great for a quiet, less touristy evening meal.

The air conditioner was not working. We had to sleep with the windows open all night. It was so loud, like we were sleeping on a busy street corner. It was so hot, like a sauna. The hotel refused to offer any amount off of our stay for the inconvenience. Terrible experience. Don’t stay here.

Decent place in proximity of Termini station

I only stayed overnight - I came when it was already dark and left when it was still dark. Convenient location, less than 10min walk from Termini, yet in a quiet street.
The room was fine, bathroom in good shape, all clean. No complaints, but my stay wasn't long enough for any deeper insights.

Basic but does the job ..

The service from all the staff is great, approx 15 minute walk from the station. The hotel overall isn't the best unfortunately, we had no hot water throughout our stay and the bathroom had no real shower booth or bath, unsure if it was for a disabled person which would make sense but neither of us were, so that's a little weird ! Breakfast is basic but kills your hunger which is the main thing. Truly is rated correctly.

Neighbourhood not the greatest but the hotel is safe and clean. Our room was a decent size. Washroom needs some work. Toilet was high. My feet couldn’t touch the floor... awkward.

My mum and I had a fantastic stay here. The staff were so friendly and recommended places for us to visit and gave excellent directions. The food was nice for breakfast especially as my mum is gluten free and although we didn't tell them she was still able to eat plenty. It was fairly close to all the sites, it was 5 minutes from termini, the Metro station and a bus which would take you to all the major sites within minutes, and I hear you could walk it in 25 minutes anyway. There was a member of staff on reception at all times so they had no problem with us checking in a little later or when we returned to the hotel past midnight from our escapades! I loved my stay here and would definitely come back/ recommend to all.

The hotel is conveniently located although the area surrounding the station is not great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a fridge and air conditioning which was great as the weather was hot. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was very nice. Breakfast was nice with good coffee.

Really enjoyed staying here as it was incredibly close (10-15 min walk) from train station and a 20 minute walk away from the coliseum, ideal as we were only staying one night and had an early train to catch. Staff were very accommodating and made sure we still were able to get some breakfast at 5am before catching our train. Overall better than expected experience and the price you pay is incredibly cheap compared to other hotels in the area.

Brilliant budget hotel.

The staff were amazing. They were very helpful, polite and courteous. The room and ensuite were clean, adequately furnished and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and the service staff excellent. The location for exploring Rome was 1st class. Because it is on a main route for traffic there was some street noise, but if you closed the window it was quiet. Thank you for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Beds were very firm and uncomfortable, needed black out curtains as the street light disturbed sleep.

Good choice for affordable travel

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay this is your place. It is the main train station termini where you will arrive from the bus from the airport . Or take the trenitalia to go to the other place in italy. It was a 15 min walk to the coloseum. The staff were super friendly and informative the rooms were a good size and a little on the older style . You don't want to arrive to the hotel after 10 pm . The area at night is a little ghetto but it's safe during the day. The breakfast is basic . It all depends on your purpose for a good price it's manageable.

The Hotel was good value for money.

Arrived late at the hotel (2am) but there was no issue checking in. The room was air conditioned and comfortable. It looked as if it had recently been redecorated. The furniture was a bit tatty but served the purpose. Breakfast was OK. Service was friendly. The local area left a lot to be desired. Very close to main station though. Good access for main attractions, about 30min walk on average.

All the staff were pleasent and helpful and spoke good English (significantly better than my Italien)

The Hotel was good value for money. Overall it was a good stay.

Good location in relation to distance from main station, the area is a bit scruffy, litter and grafitti everywhere, but not the hotels fault. Staff are more than accommodating and very helpful. Room service every day, fresh towels every day. Breakfast more than enough, meats, cheese, yoghurt toast and pastries. Coffee juice tea and cappuccino if you want it.

Very last minute booking. Our fight back home was canceled due to a blizzard. The hotel was located in a sketchier looking neighborhood compared to the rest of the city center. Never felt threatened or unsafe. Very short walk to Roma Termini. Delicious restaurants within walking distance. You get you what you pay for. Only dislike was that we needed to give up our room key every time we left the hotel. I realize that it's so that they can clean your room and so that you don't lose the key. Besides a dirty blanket which was replaced I have no complaints about this hotel.

Really friendly staff and service! The room is very basic, good for budget travel with its excellent location. Neighbourhood looks funky but we didn't feel unsafe. Breakfast is very simple. Free coffee and cappuccino, bread, toast, Italian bakery and ham for breakfast. Overall it was nice and we recommend it!

The bathroom was unconfortable for me because it didn't have anything that divides space between shower room and toilet seat. Moreover, bad smell came out when I switch on the ventilator.
Out of the hotel and the surrounding road was not clean and it didn't seem to be safety.
The location near Termini station was convinient.

Affordable quiet hotel

I picked the hotel based on the map,wanted to be close to termini, but it's about 20-30minutes walking. There is a metro close by that you can take to termini,it's only one stop.
It's a cute hotel,but location wise I would've thought twice before booking the hotel if I was familiar with Rome's neighborhood. I got good rates though.
All the staff members I encountered were extremely nice and helpful.
The room looks outaded,but I didn't mind it.it gives it character since you're in Rome :)
Breakfast is included,I wish the pasteries were a little fresher.
Overall it was good.

This place is right next to Roma termini (Rome terminal) so easy walking distance for on the go traveling or site seeing! The staff were very pleasant and helpful the wifi only works downstairs in the lobby but you'll get over that the lobby, lounge, bar and breakfast were all amazing it is very well kept to keep it short it won't disappoint. The bathrooms are very beautiful and the beds were sufficient! And A/C worked great! All in all beautiful little hotel

Couple Trip to Rome

We went for a short trip to Rome and need a central and comfortable hotel. Caracciolo is close to the center, so that one can walk or use the subway. It has really nice rooms that are clean and the breakfast is to the Italian standard. Will say better than USA but not as good as e.g. in Germany.

Nice on the surface, friendly staff, elevator is great for third (4th) floor rooms. Sketchy neighborhood. Beds might be some of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever tried to sleep in. Broken springs make you feel like you're falling off all night and sting you in the back. Pretty sure the beds were ten years past thier expiration date. On the bright side the beds were clean. Road is very busy and rooms that face the road are very loud because of it. Continuous traffic and honking all night. Bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling and shower didn't drain. No open plugs to charge in. TV doesn't work and is just a little larger than an ipad. Room has been updated but furniture is dated, likely recycled from a 90's dorm room. Spacious room.

We had a great experience here. For the money we paid (less than $100 Canadian/night), it was an excellent stay. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was your typical European style - cold meats and pastries. It was a 15 minute walk from the train station - in a not nice neighbourhood but easy to find and only 5 minute walk to the nearest metro. Depending on how many people were up using the shower, the hot water could be a little finicky but once you got it, it was hot! The WI-FI was unreliable sometimes - had to leave phone and PlayBook in one spot to keep connection in our room but in the lobby was fine. The staff was friendly and all spoke English fairly well. The \"double bed\" again was 2 singles pushed together - not what we booked and the reason for the lower rating.

We had one day in Rome before flying back home early the next morning so we wanted a hotel right next to Termini for convenience. The area around Termini is a little shady but there are always people around so I never feel unsafe. I stayed at another hotel last year which was also near Termini and this was better. The rooms are very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we missed it. The WiFi is in the lobby only. The walk to the main entrance of the station is about 5-10 min and you can get into main areas of Rome by foot in 15 min. For someone looking to stay near Termini as their main objective I would recommend this hotel.

overall good hotel. they are very supportive to provide city tourism related information.decent breakfast with option for fresh coffee.rooms are big and quite clean. only issue i found is that its not safe to reach hotel from station during midnight.

Close to Rome Termini Station.

Good hotel close to the railway terminus of Rome. Room has no window or a view. Room was clean Friendly staff.

Not a great location

This hotel is okay. The beds were a bit soft, but the room was clean. Bathroom is good. While it is close to the train station in Rome, the neighborhood is a bit iffy if you are a single female traveler. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is okay.
