The online pictures are VERY misleading! We chose this motel because it was close to the venue we were visiting. That was the only plus. The room was horrible. It smelled dirty, the bedding was bad and the room needs updating! If we had been given a room similar to the one pictured online it would have been much better. We will never consider staying there again

The front of the AC unit was melted, and the temperature knob was therefore non-functional. At least I was able to control the fan speed, but still. The door handle to the bathroon was completely broken and the latch was stuck, so I couldn't close the bathroon door at all. There were so many stains all over the walls. There was no soap in the bathroon. Luckily I brought some. The floor was improperly laid LVP with a hump which made lots of noise when you stepped on it. Check it was not fun, as I have mobility issues and had to climb a lot of stairs, some of which had no handrails, just to check it. At first they tried to put me on the second floor. When I asked to be placed on the ground floor due to my disability, he grumbled that it is a smart TV room. Eventually he said, \"OK\", I'll give you a discount. Curious about what premium the \"smart\" TV presented, I tried it out, and the remote was not capable of properly navigate the ROKU home screen, so it was impossible to use. The mattress was not too bad, but the pillows were so flat. It took me most of the night to finally fall asleep just before my alarm went off and then I had to go about my day with no sleep, and have a long drive at the end of it. I will be avoiding this place at all costs. I have stayed in worse places, mind you, but even those places had soap and working bathroom doors. The hot and cold taps in the bathroon were reversed, too. Avoid it if you can.

Looks like they’re trying to improve the property, but there’s a long ways to go. So many things wrong, cleanliness being one. No security locks on the doors, not a single place to hang a garment bag, no wifi and on top of it all it seems to be in a cellular dead spot. No soap dishes or trays in the shower.

The place is a 2 star dump. Ot was dirty and the amenities did not function. I booked the room online for $65 per night, but they told me that is the American price and the Canadian price is $103 a night. So I had to extra pay $38 for twice for a two stay. The rooms ate nowhere near the standard of a $103 per night. I will NEVER repeat my stay there.

Horrible check in experience here- i paid w my work Visa that has both my name and my business on it but the front desk guy made me fill a form out, took my license and seemed to write or copy info on it down. I couldn’t see behind the window what he wrote, nor do i know why he took the info, sooo sketchy! I was made to feel like I did something terribly wrong and his wifi didn’t even work, to allow me to change the reservation name!!!
Then he said i needed to pay a security deposit and it would be refunded in 2-3 business days. Again, for a very sub par motel on the side of the highway, that sounded like an F-1 track at night. Needless to see it was very noisy from the highway, and from the sound of an appliance of some kind that was on somewhere, and then plus noise from upstairs and next door!!
There was also no number on my room door and it was painted a different colour from all the others and it was in the corner of the two rows as it were. Really a strange and sketchy place. I was so stressed by the check in experience, i didn't sleep one bit. The bed sheets seemed wrinkled, the bed blanket cover is very thin and the room was FREEZING cold. And the bathroom is tiny too. There was no wifi- it didn’t even work at the front desk or in my room. Don’t stay here if you don’t have to. Avoid!!!
I’ll be checking for my unexpected fee “security deposit” refund on Wednesday, and you can bet they’ll never be hearing the end of it if it isn’t promptly found.

I was disappointed because the pictures on the website showed a nice clean updated room with a glass enclosed shower. The room I was given was old a rundown, hadn't seen a paintbrush in at least a decade, and had a basic tub in the bathroom. When I asked was told that there were no other room available. They should actually show you the room your getting or update all the rooms. Sadly the inside looks like a dump just like the outside. Next time I'll spend $20 more and go to the Best Western

My friend and I booked this room as a place to stay to take a break in the middle of traveling. When we booked the room we did not read reviews first, after booking we checked the reviews and were horrified. We did not want to stay here after seeing the reviews but with what little time we had left we decided to check it out anyways. We were shocked with the cleanliness of the room, thinking it would be way worse given what we read. There was no bad smells like people where saying. The bedding was clean, the room was cozy, only complaint I have is with the bathroom. The bath tub looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a while, we were not planning on using it to begin with but if I had to I would not have used it. This is a very cheap motel, you get what you paid for. Given how cheap it was I really cannot complain, everyone leaving horrible reviews are likely people expecting a 5 star hotel. Again, you get what you pay for. We would stay here again if needed

Worker refused to provide clean sheets and refuses to provide better pillows than the two flat pillows in the room. Extremely unprofessional customer service and the worker confronted me upon calling out how unclean the room was.

No hot water, hot side of tap in the sink didn't even turn on. Bathroom door didn't close well. Only the lock on the knob, no chain - felt very unsafe. Stairs up to 2nd floor are very old and rickety. Went to check out at 9am (there's a fee if you checkout after 11am) and reception was locked with a nite to ring bell or call # - there was no bell and had to call # twice to get an answer. We were told 10-15 minutes for him to get there, when we told him that wasn't okay, we needed to check out and get going he wanted us to just leave the key. We reminded him we paid a cash deposit we needed back so he uped his timeline to 5-7 minutes. We had to sit in our car to keep warm while we waited.

Room was updated, clean and comfortable.
The main area of the rooms layout was a bit weird as the tv was beside the bed instead of at the end of it. The seperate bedroom was extremely convenient having a little one with us. For the price it was pretty decent over all. My only complaint was the unfriendly staff.

Decent place for a sleep. But you are stranded in the middle of nowhere so if you don’t have a car you’re reliant on food deliveries as there is no restaurant on site. You get for what you pay for. Also the showers have weak pressure and the heat is on mild so no hot shower for too long.

While acknowledging the value proposition, the delivered experience fell very short of expectations. Spent almost 5 minutues waiting for someone to come down for the reception. Then told \"your check in is 3\" when i sent email with zero responce a week prior that id be arriving early. Then they proceeded to hand a key.

Upon arrival in room, a damaged wall near the door was observed. Further inspection revealed multiple womens hair on the comforter and linens, necessitating the purchase of a replacement blanket as we would not sleep under them.

The following two mornings, a cold shower was experienced after a ten-minute wait.

Additionally, the one faucet tap in the sink near the refrigerator was non-functional.

Before leaving, additional hair was discovered on the bed when i removed the conforter for a final check, indicating that the linens were not changed.

Consequently, this establishment will not be recommended, and future stays is not anticipated.

Rooms online were 110 plus taxes, so comes up to 122 roughly. I called the guy at the main office and he stated 130. But when I went to pay it was suddenly $146? I get into the room and its NOT CLEANED. The pillows have prints and the sheets are dirty, shower curtain has a big mark going down it, and the tub is not clean. Im very discouraged with my stay.

This was an alternative to sleeping in a tent, so the expectation was low. It satisfied the requirement. Nothing seriously wrong with the room, but, no Telus phone service, TV struggled to keep with the cable network on Tubi, had to run hot water for 4 or 5 minutes to heat up for a shower. The room had a fridge, but no glasses for water, no closet or hooks to hang anything.
Table and chairs were comfortable, mattress and bedding no complaints.
The front desk reception was difficult. I asked for a room bill and was told I could only receive on email. Room rate was not as expected despite booking with Expedia. We were told there was WiFi available but were not offered anyway to connect to it. When I went back to the office, the outside door was lock and there was a sign on the window saying, \"ring the bell,\" that was on the wall inside the locked lobby.
Coffee station in the lobby was inaccessible in the morning as the door was still locked both days. (Suggest we could call the \"emergency number\" but would have had to drive 4 kms to town to get cell service.
Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.

The guy claiming hunself to be the Manager, Simran has been very rude, declined my servuce dog inspite havung a letter from my doctor and made me pay $30 a night for my SD. Any complains or concerns i made, he ssid it was all my fault, i was lying and its my responsibility even though he kept making excuses for everything. Threatened to cancel my booking. Not even an apology, just excuses. Himself and his wife were not on the same page about any management. He said one thing, she said another. When confronted, again blames and excuses were thrown at me. Wouldn't accept my resquest to clean my room saying it can only be done once in 4 stays! Refused to speak with anyone above him. I had to feed my dog in the parking lot due to him taking over an hour to resolve the issue after threatening to cancel my booking. I booked for 3 nights a supreme king room, 1st night I was forced to take a queen room for which the stairs were unsafe, the light switch in the room didnt work. There was a telly but nowhere to sit to watch. Cables sticking out of the wall. The king room we mived to the next day, fridge was leaking. Bathroom needed a big time uodate as everything was falling apart. And the list goes on. However, the worst was how he treated his customers including myself.
