I’m writing this review after staying at this hotel twice, and unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing.

The food is extremely basic—far below what you would expect in Panama, a country known for its amazing cuisine. It honestly felt very low quality and repetitive.

The only positive aspect is the staff. They are kind, friendly, and do their best with what they have. The pool is also nice and enjoyable.

However, the biggest issue is the condition of the facilities. The hotel looks old, poorly maintained, and quite neglected. Everything feels outdated and not taken care of, which makes the overall experience very disappointing.

I gave this place a second chance, hoping things would improve, but nothing changed. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it unless major improvements are made.

Food was great, we had a great time. Property is really big, plan for a lot of walking. The whole thing with access to salt water pool is very confusing ask a lot of questions before booking. The rooms need to be updated. Doors don’t work, things like that. Other than that is a good resort if you don’t care about older structures.

Guys, please don't stay there, it was the worst hotel I've stayed at in my life. It took me 4 hours to get there from the airport, when my friend and I arrived at the hotel, the room was dirty, stain on the sheets, and the bathroom was a mess. Although the staff was very sweet, and they changed my room, I didn't have a good time during my stay, the hotel falsely advertises itself as a luxurious resort, however, it is not that!!!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We were placed in multiple rooms, all of which were dirty and unsafe — visible mold, blood/body fluid stains on bedding, strong foul odors, broken fixtures, and unsecured doors. The conditions made it difficult to breathe.
This is not a 4-star property. The sanitation, safety, and customer service were completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.

This place cost $347 USD per night, this was definitely not worth the money. We had bugs, mold, no hot water, and broken furniture, chipped floor tiles and a swimsuit panty liner stuck to our front door for the whole stay!! The safe didn’t work, the sliding door didn’t lock, the TV wouldn’t turn off. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

Loved the pools and beach; just closed a bit early for what I would have liked: 5pm for salt water pool which isn’t salt water at all and is only a small area that is slotted for the hotel which is annoying for what they are advertising as the biggest pool, 6pm for pool with slides, and then 8pm for the main pool. When you pick your rooms and choose access to saltwater pool you are in for a long walk everyday since that building is the farthest from all other amenities and dining. Also all the water activities you have to rent equipment and it’s very pricey. I didn’t choose to do any of those. Overall I would definitely return being better informed how it all operates. Staff was super amazing and food was great! I definitely would recommend since it’s a great time! We stayed for 4days and did love it! Food was amazing with a great variety! Great for families and adults only trips. They cater to both with their different activities throughout the day!

The properties are not well maintained. The room we stayed in one bed was missing a doublet only had a sheet. The other the bed had the doublet and a sheet on top so missing a bottom sheet. Only 2 towels were provided for 4 guest. The door to the room was not closing properly and had issues opening the door. It is a good hotel if your only going to use the water slide ameneties. The food was good. The staff was very nice.

Estabamos celebrando aniversario y no fue una mala decisión escoger playa blanca.
1. Esperamos una hora por la habitación.
2. Se pagó por una habitación con vista al mar y cama king, recibimos una habitación la 119 doble con vista a los árboles, tuvimos que bajar y pedir cambio.
3. Una vez en la habitación 601 sin vista al mar, fue ok. La habitación esta fea y deteriorada: cortinas sucias, balcón, aire acondicionado deteriorados.
4. Bajamos al snack, el queso de los nachos es agua de queso.
5. La cena fue lo único mejorcito y eso porque el personal nos escuchó y porque el pescado y el pollo que pedimos estaban buenos; y la atención de Aurelio y los otras dos meseras fue buena.
6. El desayuno malo y frío.
Se nota que:
1. No le están inviertiendo 1 dólar en mantenimiento al lugar.
2. Se nota que la comida es de bajo costo porque un queso tan diluido, una salchicha que se nota que es de la más económica, yel café aguado.
3. Ofrecen comida barata y de baja calidad y lo que ustedes consideran de buena calidad no esta incluido.

Tan mala fue la experiencia que salimos a las 11.

Whats show on they web is fake, not access to the big salt water pool. Also, I requested 2 Ocean view rooms and they sent us to the town center with parking view. We also had ac problems and door problems I was at the services desk every day requesting to have something to be fix…Food and services wasn’t good it all. Personal is not friendly it all . I was so disappointed we paid a lot for what we got.

We arrived at 2:15 pm, we know check in is 3:00pm, we tried to know if we can check in in advance, but staff said check in at 3:00, that’s totally fine, but no one told us we have to draw a number to check in.

All check in process is terrible.

When we get into the room, there is no towels, staff said no enough towels, and we only get two at last, but we have 4 people.

The bed is horrible, because it's quilt cover not quilt, we sleep very uncomfortable. We even take towels to cover our body.

We eat Panama Canal restaurant, the plate wasn’t clean at all.

The food, the entertainment are good.

Fui con mi esposo y 4 hijos, nos hospedamos en el town center. Muy amables al entrar y al check in. Las llaves de la habitación no funcionaron correctamente ninguno de los 4 días. La limpieza de la habitación podría ser mejor. Las piscinas bares y playas muy bonitas y limpias. Las opciones del buffet deberían ser más amplias. This is a large resort about 120 Km from Panama City on Pacific coast . The nature is beautiful in the resort which has not been renovated for at least ten years . The resort has several sections including privately owned condos and villas. The food quality is 3 star at best with reasonable choices . The most attractive feature of this resort is a gigantic man made lagoon with concrete floor . However, I was lucky to be under radar and was able to use the best and cleanest part of this Lagoon during my 3 days stay . I learned at the end that part is reserved for the units owners only ! The price is reasonable and staff are friendly and only a few speak some English. It is a beautiful and comfortable place with a variety of sport facilities.

Room are very old, no control of the AC - room were very cold even with 2 blankets I was still cold. water from the shower was too weak and I couldn’t wash my body so don’t ask for my hair. No glass in the room, food was not really good. Meat too cook, no house wine at the Italian restaurant so you have to pay for wine if you want any. Music is so loud, no way you can have a spot to just relax. Even at night, the music is so loud, it was difficult to go to bed early. I wanted to leave before the end of my stay, they did not want to cancel my last night and reimburse me but I left anyway. I will never go back there and I will never recommend this place to my worse ennemies.

I have been to many all inclusives and this one is one of the worst! Pools were dirty, beds uncomfortable, advertise it is beach resort and casino, does not have a casino, food is horrible, got food poisoning, the salt water pool is only a very small portion of the ten acre pool that really isn’t part of it and had no bathroom in that area so use your imagination of what was happening!

This property is a lot of fun, but the food selections aren't great. We stayed two nights. We were not able to eat at a restaurant the night we arrived (their rules? they just said we couldn't) and the second night we were there there was only one restaurant open and it was fully booked out by 7 am the day of.

The buffet was not great food. Understandably the food selections are catered towards Panamanian guests, but there were American food options, but the quality was very poor. I didn't enjoy eating the food for the most part.

The kids loved the place which was nice. They were fine with the food. Our group was 17 total people, so plenty of opinions to go around. But overall our experience was fun and enjoyable.

They close the pools too early. Our kids wanted to keep playing but they closed the pools with the slides at like 5 or 6 pm and the other pools just an hour later which was strange. They also \"closed the beach\" and kicked our kids off the beach at 5 when their life guards left. This shouldn't be the case with a public beach. They should just post signs that life guards are not on the beach. Plenty of day light out, but we weren't allowed on the beach.

The rooms were nice, but the beds were small. The rooms claimed to fit 6 people in them, but only had two fulls in two of our rooms and two queens in another room. We had to request rollaway beds that were in very poor condition and extremely hard. The room size was big enough to have a 3rd bed.

This place is a collection of multiple properties. I was put in a property that wasn't listed as an option on Hotels.com nor expedia. The pool in the photo wasn't operational. I had to walk a quarter mile to the actual resort to access functioning pools and other amenities. They don't offer enough chair on the beach to accommodate more than 20 people. A joke of an operation if you ask me. I booked an ocean view and the room I got was first a 4th floor with a parking lot view but I changed to the first floor with the SAME VIEW because the sliding door lock was busted. The rooms were condos with no cookware, plates, cups, nor utensils. And worst of all.....they don't provide FACE TOWELS! They only had drying towels and towels to step onto upon exiting the shower. Book at your own risk.

The property is beautiful on the outside but when you go into the rooms everything needs renovating, from the bathroom mirrors to the bedroom furniture…the food is the same every day no variety,it’s advertised as a bilingual resort..everyone speaks Spanish,minimal English and it doesn’t seem as if they’re even interested in making an effort…The alcohol is watered down,..when you go to beach the guys are there with their horses,that’s popping on the beach…then one of the hotel workers attempted to charge me $20 to use a beach chair that was already on the resort property..She claimed it was for customers that were at a particular beach restaurant (which there were none).,..Then they had stray dogs just roaming the resort,they come up while your eating or if your on the beach relaxing!!!,If I could rate it a 0 I would,but the servers where pleasant and it stop right there.

The location is good. The conditions of the rooms is poor. Sliding door lock will not work and using a pin. Doors do not close properly and noise gets in the room. The floor tiles and entire room need deep cleaning and new furniture. Conditions were really run down. Reservations at restaurants is a nightmare and can only be done during breakfast, lunch or dinner. How about ludricous. Will never recommended it.the value is 30% of they charge.

Concluding our Panama trip at Playa Blanca, we faced challenges navigating the resort with a surprising lack of English-speaking staff. Dated rooms, limited accessibility, and the absence of coffee makers were notable drawbacks. Despite these issues, the food was plentiful and decent. Attempts to dine at other restaurants were hindered by a reservation only policy. The beach area was well-maintained, but concerns arose about the underweight horse used for rides. The pool deck was clean, but the water seemed cloudy.

First-time at an all-inclusive, this experience has sparked my interest to continue exploring similar resorts.
