I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately my experience was quite disappointing. The rooms were not properly cleaned, with noticeable buildup of grime that made the stay uncomfortable.

While a few staff members were polite and attentive, the majority of the personnel seemed indifferent. It was difficult to get assistance, and even basic interactions often felt dismissive.

The facilities themselves appear to be lacking proper maintenance, which is unfortunate because the property and the beach are actually very beautiful and have great potential.

Regarding food and beverages, the meals were good; however, the only place where we were able to consistently get drinks was at the sports bar, which limited the overall experience.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and sadly, the experience did not meet expectations. At one point, some friends stopped by briefly to greet me on their way back to the city. Despite the fact that we remained in the lobby and even made purchases, we were treated by security in a manner that felt excessive and inappropriate, as if we were doing something wrong.

Overall, I did not have a pleasant experience and, regrettably, I do not believe I will be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The food was good, the beach was beautiful, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

There wasn't a lot of evening entertainment, and most activities were geared toward Spanish-speaking guests. However, the resort has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for families with children.

The only drawback was the location, as it is about a two-hour drive from Panama City and the airport. Aside from that, everything was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Todo limpio , buena calidad en las bebidas ( no son premium, pero al prepararlos tienen buen sabor ) , buena calidad en los alimentos , solo que en el Buffet considero deben estar preparados para personas con alergias y alimentación especial. Tengo una una alegría al huevo y lácteos , y al preguntar si los churros contenía huevo o leche , nadie supo responderme , y lo que me indicaron es que eso venía ya preparado y no tenían como saberlo ( bastaba con ver la lista de ingredientes) , en Sakura sí estuvieron muy al pendiente del la alergia de mi hija y brindaron opciones en cada uno de los platos ofrecidos.

Clean room on my part, one of my friends had some minor dirt under his bedsheets but no big deal. Food from any of the restaurants is great, the buffet is nice but the snacks...not so much. Drinks were really nice but most of the staff (other than the receptionists) were not too kind, kinda made me feel guilty to be there but there's a reason we panamenians are not known for incredible our customer service.

The pools were nice, and the spa was absolutely great, would definitely go back someday

This is a great resort for families. The staff is wonderful, helpful, attentive and friendly. The pools, slides and food were great. My kids loved the activities. The pools were spotless and the active lifeguards were a very nice surprise for a parent. I’ve was concerned after I saw so many negative reviews but I think they must be taking the comments seriously because it was an amazing stay.

Bathroom sink was completely rusted, both faucets were absolutely disgusting and leaking every time we turned them on. They gave us a difficult time just to simply get shower towels. Everyday 2 days our room keys stop working and I would have to go to get them reprogrammed. On the last day they would not even give us shower towels because it was the last day. The entire resort smelt like sewage. In order to book 1 of only 3 restaurants there we had to wait in long for 2 hours in order to book which took 10 seconds. Absolutely horrible, money back should be in order

Beautiful beach & lovely pools. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The buffets were very clean, well maintained with abundant fresh food & lots of healthy choices. Although it was clean, The rooms & buffet restaurant are in need of an extensive update. The hotel is showing its age. There are no outdoor restaurants to enjoy the Beautiful location, The evening entertainment was sadly lacking. They had a short dance show one evening, the rest of the time it consisted of an MC yelling loudly while organizing Adult musical chairs and a show aimed at woman acting “sexy” while he yelled inappropriate comments. The daytime entertainment staff were friendly and tried to organize fun activities. The resort is great for families but if you want a quiet relaxing location, go elsewhere

The entire hotel was old… things seemed like they were falling apart. There were not enough lounge chairs or places to sit outside. There were not enough umbrellas. I had to get up early to save seats if we wanted somewhere to sit. The whole hotel was very loud… there was no where to just relax. The swimming pools felt dirty because there were so many people. The staff was nice, but no one actually helped you if you asked for help. They just said oh that isn’t my job or sorry I can’t help you with that. For example, the hotel says they have water sports….. well there are two double kayaks and that’s it….To eat in a restaurant you had to wait in a line for an hour to get a reservation. The one plus was the restaurant we ate at. It was very good and a nice experience. I guess I don’t feel it was worth half of what we paid…. It was really unfortunate. And to end the trip my son got food poisoning or ended up sick from the pool water. I had high hopes and with a few changes they could have made the experience a bit better.

Very nice area, it was once you Sheraton and we loved it then. We had many people and were able to fit all in three rooms. Food was fantastic, pools are great, but too bad about the bar! And the beach, magnificent as always in Panama. We will be back so we can enjoy the pool bar hopefully get complementary upgrade! Thank you so much

I stayed at the resort last week and overall everything was fine — the place is clean, the service was good, and the food was nice. However, I found one rule quite ridiculous. I was asked to go all the way back upstairs to my room because I was wearing my beach cover-up (those light, transparent clothes you wear over a swimsuit) in the restaurant.

I completely understand not allowing people to come in dripping wet or wearing only a bikini, but not being allowed to wear beach clothes at a poolside restaurant makes no sense. It felt unnecessary and inconvenient, especially since the restaurant is basically next to the pool.

Dos aspectos que me generaron cierta insatisfacción fueron:

1. La ausencia de servicio de valet parking, lo cual considero inadecuado considerando el costo de la estancia.
2. La falta de gavetas en las habitaciones y la limitación de perchas en el clóset, con solo cinco, lo cual resultó insuficiente para cuatro personas.

Sin embargo, me gustaría destacar que el resto de los aspectos me parecieron muy positivos. Tanto los restaurantes como la experiencia en general fueron muy agradables.

I arrived at 2:00 pm, the people at the reception to check in gave me a service number and I explained to them that I was going to check in online with the link that Expedia sent me an email, they didn't care about this, I still had to wait, they started serving at 2:40 pm even though I arrived at 2:00 pm, so I entered the facilities at 3:35 pm due to the delay in their service, I lost 35 minutes This bad attention has to improve this. Even though I arrived an hour early, I did not enter the hotel at 3:00 pm.

Personal restaurante y el personal de salvavidas en la piscina fue fantastico. Las habitaciones fueron renovadas. Areas verdes muy bellas. Instalaciones en comun pueden mejorar. Lo no tan bueno: cambiar el lugar de la discoteca fue mala idea, Nos dijeron que no se podia reservar ennla cena y en la noche vimos los Olivos con gente y espacios.

Location, activities, specially for kids, water slides and other activities. Needs improvement at the snack bar by the main swimming poolside but it was tolerable. This resort was quite good. It was not crowded and it was compact. I definitely will visit again. Only wish the swimming pools had more shadow areas since the sun in Panama is very strong. Food was tasty and the menu rotated everyday. The nightly shows were kind of cheesy (except by the young singer from Ecuador who had a pretty voice).

It is a smaller resort so every part of the resort is accessible by foot. Very family oriented. They had activities for kids and adults at different times throughout the day. The buffet had enough variety to provide something for everyone and not too much that food was just sitting there.

My family has visited a lot of all inclusive resorts and this is one of our favorites! The food is delicious (we prefer the buffet and didn’t try the restaurants). The pools are lovely and the water slides are so so fun. I have a 12 and 14 year old who were so happy and entertained. The ocean is perfect for swimming and playing in (small) waves. Their beach is very clean with soft sand and the pool games were a blast. Our room was very clean, classy and a fantastic ocean view. I wish there was coffee in the rooms or available earlier, but that rang true for every place we stayed in Panama. The resort has lifeguards on duty at the pools and at the beach who are very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend and we will definitely return

Pool you had dogs beading in the pool where people hat to be in, birds at cat was in the dining room were was the buffet
Me personally i will not recommend it and if i could get my money back i hope i could get my 174.00 back

DO NOT STAY HERE — THEY STOLE MY RINGS AND DIDN’T CARE!

I had the absolute worst experience at this resort. On the day of checkout, I took a quick shower and rushed out of my room, accidentally leaving my engagement ring and wedding ring behind. As soon as I realized, I immediately tried to contact the resort, hoping they could help me locate my rings.

Getting in touch with them was a nightmare. They did not have a working toll-free number, and the number listed on their website did not work. I had to email them, and it took them days to respond. I finally had to ask a friend from Panama to call them from a local number, and that’s the only way I was able to get through to them. Even then, their response was cold and dismissive. They claimed my rings were not found and showed zero interest in looking into it or helping me.

It’s clear that someone on their staff stole my rings, and the resort did absolutely nothing to investigate or assist me. No sympathy, no concern, just a flat-out “we don’t have them” attitude.

I am devastated. My priceless, sentimental rings are gone forever, and this resort did not care one bit. If you value your belongings or expect basic human decency, DO NOT STAY HERE. They are unprofessional, unhelpful, and apparently have dishonest staff. Worst experience of my life.

First the good - the property is beautiful and well maintained.

Except for the stench of sewer, which was consistent and property wide.

Unfortunately, the entertainment area is centrally located near the hotel rooms. From early in the morning until 11pm, people will be yelling on a microphone in Spanish. It was a lot of noise and hype, not “entertainment”. There was no where peaceful or quiet to relax and escape the noise of constant microphone hype. The music was not diverse, just Latin.

The fruit was nice. I thought the food was decent, although limited in selection, but my husband did not like it at all. We ended up renting a car and eating out several times. The water is not safe to drink.

The staff was adequate but not friendly. I speak a little Spanish, which was necessary, as the staff speaks very little English. The rooms lack basics such as wash rags and ironing boards.

We ended up leaving 2 days early as we couldn’t handle the noise, smell, and food for the full week we booked.

We were 5 adults - 4 seniors staying for 3 days at this property. 4 of us ended up deathly ill from norovirus or another GI disease. Looking at some of the reviews lately this is a problem that they have completely ignored and could care less about.

Unless you want to spend three days with projectile vomiting while sitting on the toilet - DO NOT STAY HERE!!
