There were a lot of construction workers...... Mainly men. I felt very unsafe. Loud music was playing for several hours. I found a glass bottle of beer behind the rear tire of my vehicle. If I had not spotted it, I'm sure I would haveran over it. Therefore, causing my tires to be punctured!

Honestly the price is very good and with there not being many options in havelock at all, it’s pretty good. There are just a few things with cleanliness that i didn’t love. i felt that the bedding did not only look unclean, it felt unclean. there were a few odd stains on the bedding (sheets) and the comforter part of the bedding wasn’t very comfortable. We also stayed for 4 nights and the room was only restocked with new towels once. The staff was extremely kind and helpful though. I appreciated their kindness!

This is my second review on this inn! This place is very good for its price, and that’s what I love about it. Easy parking, easy check-in, clean room, nice staff, and overall a good experience. I stayed for 4 nights over the holidays and honestly this is my go to place whenever I’m staying in the area.

On check-in, the front desk was not prepared for my reservation. Gave me 2 rooms. Upon entry of the first, roaches scattered both on the AC unit and in the bathtub.
The manager said he would have it cleaned. I insisted on a new room. He acted as if that was a problem. I left to go to my business destination and came back at approximately 11 p.m. The parking lot was almost full, not a problem but as we were parking, 3 men were going from car to car looking in windows and checking door handles. I left! I am VERY disappointed in Expedia being associated with this type of establishment. Therefore, I cannot trust Expedia anymore and will remove the app from my phone and never use it again. You certainly wasted my money and time with this establishment being on your list.

OK everybody I always am staying in lower price hotels Motel sixes super eight or whatever they all called. I have never experienced a better price for value and customer service then in the Havelock Inn and suites the people who run the place I extremely gentle and nice. And of course for a price around $70 a night I cannot expect The highest outside facility tidiness, but the room itself was super clean. The air conditioner worked perfectly. The shower was strong. The bathroom were clean. The towels were nice. The sheets were nice. Everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this and give this Hotel 10 out of 10.

Ive stayed at this hotel several times. The hotel is older but the owners and staff keep it very clean. The bed is very comfortable and AC works great. The price is very reasonable compared to what you'd pay if you stay at the beach in Morehead City or Atlantic Beach. This is my go to when im in the area.

It's a room and a bathroom that functions for a stay. For one night, it was fine. I would not stay for more than a quick overnight crash. While our room was non-smoking, it definitely smelled like smoke (probably in the curtains or bed where it's harder to get the smell out). Neighbors woke us up talking loudly outside our room at 11pm; not the fault of the owners but feels typical for the vibe of the place.

I've stayed at this property several times. It is an older motel but it has always been very clean and the mattresses are very comfortable, and it is very reasonably priced. Check-in was easy and staff are always polite.
I plan to continue staying here when im in that area.

The hotel was no frills. It was clean and the check in was fast. The whole town is kind of industrial so even the more expensive hotels have the same feel around them. But again for sleeping and showering it was a perfect fit. Would I want to bring the kids to play out in the parking lot maybe not. Like me for a stop over then on my way the next day or two yes. I would recommend it. But you f your looking for pampering not here.

Very poor maintenance, broken tiles on the floor, no coffee pot in room, King mattress sagged, entry door had large gaps, heater was very noisy, loose plumbing fixtures in bathroom, You have to checkin through a bullet proof glass window which means there isn't even a place to get coffee. It is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in, in 40 years.

The room is very spacious for 2 people but it needs to be cleaned a lot better. There was dirt in the tub, the sheets had stains, and a lot of the surface areas had cobwebs, but for the price I paid I feel like it should have been lower than listed but it was a good place to stay for a short time. The staff could be more friendly but the housekeeper is awesome.

The man at the window/office was not nice or helpful. I reserved a non smoking room but once he saw me and my boyfriend he said he needed a $100 deposit for a non-smoking room. I feel it was because my boyfriend had dreads. Then he said our room was all the way in the back( the door without a number). I felt very unsafe at this location but, all of the other hotels were full because of the festival going on. I will never go back to this hotel again.

First off, sign in was beyond strange. These people do not have any sense of pride in the building. They just milk them for all they are worth. While the bed was excellent. the bathroom looked like it was painted with a mop ! The shower handle to turn it on ,was so loose, that all the guts behind the wall moved with it side to side. Although a non smoking room, you could tell that that must change day to day.

One-night stay as we traveled through North Carolina. This property was priced well for a room/bath. There are no additional amenities. The room was clean and well air-conditioned. It is conveniently located along Havelock's main artery. Our only quibble would be the lack of a standing lamp in the room we rented. The only lights were two wall-mounted fixtures above the bed.

The door only had the door handle lock. The secondary lock was broken. The room needed some repairs but nothing that interfered with our comfort and no room smell.. Had a working microwave and refrigerator, great water pressure, and a great bed, pillows, bedding and fantastic air condition. The room was simple no phone, clock or a table but it was fine for 1 night stay. The staff showed us where our room was under the stairwell.

Bare basic room, older furniture, a TV that worked, some paint/wall in bathroom looked like it needed work. Not the best, but it was okay for a short night's stay. There were plenty of outlets, which was a plus as I had a lot of devices/batteries to recharge, front desk clerk was very nice.
