We were traveling to Cherry Point for the airshow the next day. We booked this hotel given it was pretty close to the base when the show was to be held. When we arrived, we saw the C grade sanitation rating at the front desk. The issue was we had driven 3 hours out there and all the other hotels were booked.

When we got to our room, it had clearly been heavily smoked in and it had a single king bed. We had requested a room with two double beds given our young kids were with us. The hotel staff were doing their best with what they had but this is definitely a "Last Resort" hotel.

Smoke alarm was not hooked up. Ceiling looked like it would fall down. spots on sheets. Coffee pot in lobby broken and no coffee offered. We had a confirmed reservation through Expedia and they gave our room away and we were at the motel at 3:30. We checked in to room 101 2 dbl beds. The shower was dirty with a footprint. Window sill flaking, needed paint. Sanitary grade by check in was a 71. No hairdryer and the tv had bad reception. brackets for the hanging closet were coming off their hinges. The people at the reception acted like they didn't know what to do. Especially when we had a confirmed reservation and our room was given away. This place should be condemned.

We just needed a place to stay that was inexpensive and not on the street. The guy who checked us in was really friendly, that was a plus. Another plus is that they have showers at this hotel instead of bath tubs. They also have outlets in the wall so that you don't have to bend over to plug anything in. That's really nice. The cons are typical - if you are looking for "pretty," this ain't it. This place served us in the way that we needed at the time. We had a bit of an emergency and it was perfect for that. Oh, and no breakfast, you'll have to get your own. It was fine in this case since we checked out too early for that anyway. This hotel is great for a quick place to stay. If you are not picky about appearances then this will be all right for you too.

First when i arrived inside my hotel room i noticed that the entrance door had a gap from the floor to the end of the actual door. So as im sleeping i can see people shoes walk back and forth from outside my room. The walls were thin as well you can hear the entire converstation happening between the two rooms that your in between. The mattress was the worst part, the sheets had stains on them, the pillows were a brown color underneath the pillow case, the carpet was not swept upon arrival, lots of dirt and little pieces on the floor. The shower had multiple stains so did the toleit seat. And there were roaches on the bathroom sink counter. I understand people cant affrord rent and its hard out there but no one should have to live in those type of environments and still have the pay the full rate of a night. This has been the worse hotel experience ive ever had, i honestly didnt care for my money back i just had to leave because it was impossible to stay in.

The comforters are old. Got cigarette Burns in it. It was never washed. Had a smell. Dirty socks found under the sink from the previous person that rated the room. This property had such a horrible mold/mildew smell. I stayed two nights the first night the cable and wifii did not work, the pillows were dirty. The mattress cover was dirty. The hallway carpets were dirty. The toilet seat was so old and so disgusting. The remote control had electrical tape on the back of it to hold the batteries on, the fridge had someone elses water in it, the floors were dirty. And i had a few unwanted guests, roaches. Just soooooo disgusting

We did get a 2 check in, but while I was waiting the lady told me about an early check in fee. I asked how much she said 25.00. Now I did not mention that I am ops manager at a hotel, so I know there is no such thing as an early check in fee. The night of our stay I was eaten up by bed bugs.

Hotel was horrible. I travel 3 hrs to visit my son who is currently stationed at Cherry Point. When we walked in you could smell the mold. The bathroom had mold above the bathtub. Window was broken and someone could pull it from the outside, the outlets didn’t work, no fire alarm, ac didn’t work was cooler in the hallway than the room.

The property was local to our plans while traveling. After looking thru the pictures of the property that seemed to have just been remodeled. We arrived to see the building was a little worn on the exterior which is no big deal. Entering the rooms ( we booked 2) the 1st one the ceiling was peeling down and cracked, the smoke detector was missing with wires hanging out the bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling above the shower. The second room was worse the ceiling over the beds was peeling to the point of falling off the bathroom again had black mold all over the ceiling and there seemed to be a outlet of some sort next to the door that was removed never reinstalled so it was a hole with exposed wires. Both rooms for some reason were missing the secondary latch lock not as if there were none but the peg on both rooms were gone. It was unsanitary, and extremely unsafe especially with 4 children. Being a holiday weekend all other local hotels were booked so we had to keep the rooms.

The room was not clean when we checked in. They did come and clean, but it needs a deep clean. Baseboards and window sills have not been wiped in a very long time. I used Clorox wipes and wiped everything down. The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet night for sleeping.

The room was filthy, shower didn’t even look clean, we weren’t even provided basic sink amenities(hand soap). The room reeked of smoke in a “non-smoking” facility. We stayed for 2 out of our original 3 night reservation and each of those two nights there was a guest that could be heard in one of the nearby rooms auditioning for American idol with a severe lack of talent until the early morning hours. BOTH NIGHTS! After leaving without finishing our 3 night stay I was charged for an ADDITIONAL night as well as an additional service charge. When I called to get it resolved instead of refunding the additional charges I WAS CHARGED A THIRD TIME! Absolutely DO NOT stay here!

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The bed sheets were dirty and stained, the fridge didn’t work, and despite having the heat at the maximum setting, the room never stayed warm. The shower appeared as if it had never been cleaned, and we even saw bugs on the ground that resembled roaches. If leaving earlier had been an option, we absolutely would have, but unfortunately, that wasn’t feasible. To make matters worse, we weren’t even able to get a full refund, which is unacceptable given the terrible condition of the room.

Where do I begin? For starters nothing mentioned about a $50 deposit required by the owners. There were cockroaches that didn't even run when the lights were turned on. These were not the typical palmetto bug that you find down south, but German cockroaches that confirm just how dirty a place is. I went to swipe my key card and swore I saw a cockroach run to the door frame, but couldn't really tell because the hallway was so dimly light. After 11pm the hallway lights came on and shown through the large gaps around the door. The room itself had an odor as if the carpet had been wet, but never really dried out fully. Access to the building through side doors was not secure at any hour, no key card access, unlocked doors into the guest areas. I would never stay again, even if I was paid to.

Well, you certainly get what you pay for. I was very grateful that the AC worked, that being said the room sticky, roaches everywhere, bedside lamps hanging off the wall, ceiling falling down patchwork on the walls Telephone didn't work as far as watching TV, if you didn't mind watching game shows or religious channels everything else was in Spanish, unfortunately I don't speak Spanish. Good news, at least as far as I can see, it didn't have bedbugs! Although because I had seen roaches, I did not sleep well at all I'm up at the crack of dawn ready to get in my car so I can go have coffee and get a little rest before I get back on the road.

We checked in with high hopes after a long beach day. Upon walking into the room with two little kids, I could immediately tell it was not clean enough to stay. Blood stains on bedding, shower was filthy, snot on bathroom wall, no smoke detectors, missing lamp shades, broken door lock, smelled horrible etc. The staff was extremely polite, kind, and accommodating to give me an immediate refund. I would absolutely not go off photos shown, wouldn’t recommend.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever seen in my whole life. It’s Fourth of July & my bday weekend.. many hotels were already booked up. As soon as I pulled in I felt skeptical about leaving my car.. screens were punched out & overall just a sketchy environment.. then I walked in the building. Instantly there was a disgusting smell as I went to check in. Walking to my room the smell got stronger, food and stains up and down the hall way.. the doors were open to the supply/laundry rooms and I already knew that there was no way my bed would be clean. Once I walked into the room I instantly started to cry. Burn holes & other stains all over the bed.. crumbs everywhere.. I couldn’t even sit down. Looking in the bathroom there were stains & hair everywhere. I felt dirty just standing in the room. I left right away & will be attempting to get a refund. Do not let these pictures fool you.. let alone $100 a night?! The audacity.

The hotel has a roach infestation. They are aware of it and simply do not care. My door lock in my first room was broken. The bathrooms were filthy as if they haven't been cleaned. After i saw roaches they moved me to a different room upstairs which had a sign that said it was a non smoking room. However it had been clearly smoked in and the comforter on the bed had cigarette burn holes. I later saw more roaches in that room and just cut my stay short. I am still fighting with them over a refund for the hotel. They blamed contractors for the roaches and stated because people eat in their rooms that is the reason for the roach infestation.

Roaches were everywhere in our room, especially in the bathroom. It was a nightmare. Noise was unbearable and non stop. Doors slamming, people arguing loudly, and my wife and I were actually scared, I was happy with the office manager who identified with the dead bugs and stated to me she’d write a report and encouraged me to get in touch with Expedia and demand my money back.
