Great morning breakfast with lots of options. The food service staff were always on top of things.

The hotel is very well kept and our room was very nice. We enjoyed the view from the patio too.

Parking was not a problem for us at all so we never needed to use the underground area.

Most of the places we went to in the Marquette area were easy to get to from the hotel.

This was the best place we stayed on our 12 day trip. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The room was spacious and well equipped. Free laundry services were available and there was a soda fountain in the lobby for refills! If I ever head to the area again, I will definitely book this location!

I was in town for the NMU graduation. It was obvious that all of the hotels in town raise their rates to take advantage of the surge in business. I am still flabbergasted that the rate was what I would expect to pay at a luxury hotel. Upon check in, I was informed there is no housekeeping on the weekends. My room had a moldy shower, thin pillows/sheets and the same soap product in every single product bottle. Conditioner? No, soap. Lotion? Soap too. I have to go back next year, but I will not be staying here.

I booked a room originally for two nights for my wife. When she wanted to extend it for an additional two nights she was told she could not because the original booking was done by a third party. If she wanted to extend her stay, it would have to be done through the third party. But the original reservation has completed “Can’t I just make a new reservation directly with the hotel? She asked.” No, since you’re original reservation was made with a third-party you need to go back through the third-party. This makes no sense. The original reservation was completed. The clerk would not make a new reservation for her. Had to do it on line through the third party app. Made no sense.

The hotel was very nice overall, but the first night, I was woken up at 2:30 in the morning by someone's alarm going off for 45 minutes. It was either the room above me or the room connected to mine. I also felt that the bed was extremely hard, and I couldn't sleep comfortably due to the mattress being so hard.

Overall, the staff is extremely friendly, the continental breakfast in the morning is delicious, and the hotel itself is extremely clean.

This hotel is a gem in Marquette. We had a very spacious room with kitchenette for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend. Very good location too. Breakfast very good for a standard hotel breakfast. Hot and fresh and we ate at 0915. Very nice eating area.

Hotel was nice. Staff was good. Loved the deck and grill area off the back of the hotel. Breakfast was also good. My only disappointment was that there was no pool. I swear when I booked it I specifically looked for a hotel with a pool, but when we got there they said the hotel put in a basketball court instead of a pool for some reason. We were offered to go swimming at their affiliate hotel down the road, but we didn’t want to drive over there just to swim, so we skipped it. I found our mattress to be extra firm, which I personally didn’t like.

The room and hotel were very nice. The bathroom floor wasn't swept behind the door and the shower was really bad. The caulk was brown around the tub area. We have stayed at many hotels not as nice as this one with way better showers/bathroom. That was the only complaint, everything else about this hotel was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing. And what a treat when we checked in on Wednesday and were able to enjoy great food, wine, and beer in the evening. The staff was excellent and recommended great restaurant options. But the biggest surprise was an on-site (free) charger for our electric vehicle. That was great.

They put me in a room that was not what I booked. They confirmed that management place me in a smaller room than what I had paid for and said to return the next morning to resolve the issue. The next morning I was told my correct room would be available after noon. I informed the front desk that I would gone for most of the day but will pick up the room keys when I or my wife return. When my wife returned, they said our room was no longer available and we were forced to stay in a smaller room than I had paid for with no reimbursement.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved having a full kitchen. We ate several meals in our room. Layout of bedroom not quite what I expected. Asked for a couch and only got one chair. And bed was pushed up to tv stand which was difficult to maneuver around since two of us share the bed. We made do. My husband ate the free breakfast. He said it was good. I am gluten free and tried the oatmeal which was not very good. Very watery. Other than that having beverages available 24/7 was great as was the evening appetizer and beverage gathering. All staff we met were very nice. Entire facility very clean. Not thrilled that dogs are allowed on all floors but we had no issues with them. Overall a good experience and will stay again.

Staff was great, breakfast was great, easy access to everything nearby. Only one minor complaint and that is the locks on the bathroom and bedroom door. It was some weird metal contraption that sticks out on both sides and is really hard to get to function properly. It's also very loud when you try to close the doors and get it to latch. Not the best when you are trying to use the bathroom in the middle of the night or before everyone else is up. I've never seen or heard anything like it before and it was a source of frustration all weekend. Everything else was great, just hope they will consider changing that.

Three of us stayed for the NMU 50th NCAA Div II Football National championship reunion. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts over three days were good with the staff keeping up with food refreshment and cleanliness. All in all, a very good stay.

Breakfast buffet was great! Dinner meals Mon-Wed were very good. The full kitchen in the studio was awesome. However, we both got sick by day 3 of our stay, so I'm not sure the rooms are getting cleaned appropriately. We let staff know and they didn't seem to care.

Nice, clean & great staff. The breakfast is great! I use to stay at the Landmark Hotel. Not anymore. This hotel is quiet, not like the Landmark. This hotel have self serve breakfast . No breakfast at the Landmark. Staybridge Suites have quiet doors not like the slamming doors at the Landmark. Staybridge Suites is the best hotel in Marquette for your money.

Everything is top notch!

Every employee was beyond nice. The building and property are clean, beautiful and well maintained. My bed was comfortable, and my suite was equipped with everything I needed. I loved the outdoor space, especially the couch I relaxed on, while reading my book by the smokeless fire. I stayed 3 nights while attending NMU orientation with my son. I’ll gladly stay at this hotel again when visiting him in the future!

We stayed here recently for 2 nights and we were impressed with the property and highly satisfied with our stay. The suites were spacious and kitchen was relatively well stocked (we didn't cook). Beds were comfortable. Highlight was the breakfast. Amazing selection. Did i say laundry on site was free? Gym was alao good with all that you need to maaintain your active lifestyle. Hotel desk were pleasant as well. We stayed here to and visited Presque Isle Park and Pictured Lake...much better to stay in Marquete than Munising.

The hotel room was absolutely beautiful. It was loud for a couple days (stomping, running) but after i called the front desk it stopped immediately. Everything from the breakfast to the laundry services was convenient and nice. I would 1000% recommend this hotel. The seating area away from the actual bedroom was very nice. Had an almost full kitchen (gas stove, cutlery, cups/plates, full fridge, utensils). Will stay there again if in the area.

We arrived at the hotel at 2:40pm...check-in time was 3pm. We were told that our room was currently being cleaned and would be available in 20 minutes. We said that's fine and had a drink on the patio. Checked with the front desk at 3:10pm, room still not available. 3:30pm, not available. Front desk told us we could call the manager as she doesn't have the power to change rooms. Called the GM and the call goes directly to the front desk. Finally got in our room at 4pm. I personally checked on the room and it was available long before 4pm so I'm not sure if it was the front desk or cleaning staff that deserves the blame. GM was going to call us to make things right...we checked in on Sunday, today is Tuesday and still nothing. We weren't the only customers that had to wait, but our wait time was triple to next closest person. That being said, facilities were great. Outdoor patio was very nice. Breakfast was better than expected.

We stayed at several motels/hotels during our 12-day vacation in the UP and this one was by far the best. The staff is excellent. We enjoyed an evening “social” with complimentary food and drinks as well as a very nice breakfast bar. The location is close to downtown/lake attractions. Super nice place.
