This was a wonderful property. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff were wonderful, helpful and responsive . The room had a beautiful patio with incredible views. The area of the hotel is about a 5 min walk from the main shopping and dining street, which we appreciated. It’s also close to the lovely park.

We had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere. We arrived late in the day after missing a flight. They had a concierge outside waiting to meet us and valet our car. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and shown to our beautiful room. The rooms were comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The pool area was gorgeous and the sun loungers were comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was lovely. Breakfast had a generous spread. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. We would return here again and again. You will love your stay!

Excellent place to stay in Taormina.. it was very modern like Miami Vice. It was across the street about 100ft away from the main building. I only wished we would have stayed in the old hotel which looked much cooler.. we parked up the street for €25 a day saved us €20 a day..
don’t forget to stop at the coop, which is the grocery store. Will also save you a ton of money..
next door is a laundromat, which was perfect. Just watch out and ask for the price first before doing your laundry..

We got a room in the ANEX. The bathroom in that room is very small and uncomfortable, literally one can barely fit inside the shower. Very disappointing when one is spending 600 euros a night. That bathroom belongs to a 2 or 3 star hotel!
We mentioned this to the manager at check out. He was very receptive and nice and gave us a 10% discount and free parking (45 euros a day).

My partner and I stayed at the Villa Belvedere for a week in August 2025. The Villa Belvedere is absolutely beautiful, set in stunning gardens overlooking the bay, a short walk to the centre of Taormina.
The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel’s interior is gorgeous and traditional. The rooms perfectly clean.

Hotel Villa Belvedere is an absolute gem, oozing with charm and elegance. The hotel is located only a short walk to all the main restaurant ,shopping and other attractions. The meticulously maintained hotel offers a luxurious retreat, with pristine linens, flawless service, and immaculately kept grounds. On arrival we were greeted by with a glass of wine and shown a map of the area and excursion options. We were then show to our stunning room. Room 25, with its own private balcony with jaw dropping views. The delightful breakfast is a buffet style with many delicious pastries along with the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, the terrace or inside offering panoramic views of the bay. The hotel offers old-world elegance, modern comforts, breath taking views, wonderful service, friendly and attentive staff, immaculately clean rooms. I will be recommending The Hotel Villa Belvedere to all my family and friends. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

I upgraded to one of the studios which was a new experience for me but I enjoyed the view, the privacy, and having access to a kitchenette where I could keep snacks and whatnot. Maybe because they were refurbishing, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a restaurant or bar on site to get a quick breakfast. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating.

We stayed in an apartment that I think isn't apart of the main hotel. It is off-season so the main hotel was closed. The view is incredible and makes you feel like you never want to leave. It felt like staying at an apartment more than a hotel since there isn't concierge or anything like that. I would recommend for anyone to say here as you can't beat the location.

Have just returned from an amazing stay at the Hotel Villa Belvedere. The best thing about this hotel is the location, just far enough from the main hustle and bustle atmosphere of Taormina, set in beautiful grounds overlooking the bay of Taormina. You really do feel like you're experiencing a beautiful ornate and authentic Italian villa as a boutique hotel. The hotel is lovely and quiet, no noisy groups around the pool area. Just a lovely tranquil vibe. All the staff are extremely helpful . The lunches at the poolside were lovely. The breakfasts were great as well.
Unfortunately , we had a bad experience with the room ( room 6) we were given. Considering the price we paid for the room per night ( ~£600 per night , which in any other country you could get a 5 star standard of property) , the room was absolutely awful. Old , worn furniture , musty smell. The bathroom was terrible, no space at all and just a shower curtain. We found out after using the shower for the first time that it didn't drain away and flooded the entire bathroom and then into our main room and throughout the corridor. This was the straw that broke the camel's back and we had to complain about the room. The room was of a 1-2 star standard in any other country I have visited. However the hotel did react quickly and cleaned up the flooded area and moved us to another room the following day.
The new room was like a different world completely. A lovely room . We will return and select a different room next.

Trip Of A Lifetime
My gf and i ended our self driven tour of Sicily with three days in Taormina and reserved a modest room at Via Belvedere based on pics and reviews. On arrival we were met by Joshua who informed us that our room had been booked and he was going to upgrade us to a suite. We ended up in The Rock Suite and it was stunning. It was like our own apartment with our own elevator and room service! The most beautiful view each morning from the super comfy bed of vines and flowers hanging from the cliffside that the room is tucked up under making it completely private as well! The hotel was perfectly located and an easy walk to dining, shops, beach and sites. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous and accomodating to all our needs and questions. Parking your car is a bit tough but that is true everywhere in Taoromina.

The breakfast buffet was full of local foods and open late in the morning for those \"sleep in\" days. The bar was always open, pool service and bar staff were great and the pool was in a great location, in excellent condition and never crowded. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Villa Belvedere is perfectly located for your Taormina stay. Immediately adjacent to a beautiful garden, it is also within walking distance to wonderful restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. To work off your breakfast and earn your dinner, there is a great walking trail up to Castelmola and another down to Isola Bella. Also tempting, to enjoy an afternoon at their pool and relax. The staff will help you with anything you need. This was a very memorable visit!

I can't say enough great things about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family in this family-owned jewel of Taormina. We were immediately offered a glass of Prosecco, as our reception host sat with us and went over all of the hotel's services and amenities. After that, we were personally escorted to our room, and a dinner reservation was immediately confirmed for us at a nearby restaurant. Our room was gorgeous, clean and beautifully appointed, with a terrace that overlooked both the pool and the sea. Breathtaking view! The breakfast buffet, with terrace seating, was the highlight of each morning, and the poolside restaurant (open only for lunch) served some of the finest food we ate in all of Taormina. In a world where the small details of hospitality are slowly going by the wayside, it is encouraging to see them so beautifully preserved within the walls of this hotel. We will definitely be recommending this experience (for that is what it was) to everyone, and hope to visit this lovely, magical hotel in the future!
