Charged an extra fee to check in a couple hours early, even though the room was ready. Hotel is small, although it looks significantly bigger in the photos. No wash clothes for bathing just 2 larger towels and 2 hand towels. Chairs in the room looked like the belong on a patio. Restaurant doesn’t serve food until 1700 hours, with 1 wait staff for entire dining area. Just seemed very limited on staff and really no amenities. Was not impressed at all!

The hotel is in a great location, and it has great views of the city. We were at a high floor with great views of the mountain. There is no parking on site, but the local parking is easy and very close. The restaurant on site was great while sometimes is fully booked because the hotel has many groups coming in and out, so they eventually might book the restaurant for them, but we went to a local place with was great. Thank you.

First the good things - the room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location. The car park is next to the hotel but costs. Now the bad - we asked in the morning did we need to book the restaurant for dinner. We were told no. Just before it opened we asked for a menu which was given without comment. We arrived 15 mins later to be told it was fully booked and we would have to come back much later. After complaining we were given a table but the service was terrible. They were totally fixed on an arriving coach party. Many people complained it was unacceptable that so many people were turned away due to a buffet being provided to a coach party.

This hotel was only a stop off point for our drive from the Lofoten Islands, back to Bodo. But it was an excellent choice! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the upgraded room we were given was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at on our entire trip. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and large with an amazing view on the 12th floor. The breakfast was great, and the staff members were helpful. The location was solid on Narvik's main strip, with everything we did in walking distance. We parked in the nearby garage (practically connected to the hotel) and found the parking cost to be reasonable. We stayed only one night but would've loved to stay longer. We'd recommend!

Great hotel with good views all around. Next door to paid parking. Next door to the war museum and library, with some restaurants and shops nearby. When we were there it was very warm. The whole hotel is glass with only small window openings so the room was very hot. Breakfast was good, a buffet with a good selection. There is no bar but you can get drinks in part of the restaurant.

The hotel itself does not have parking, but there is a parking close by (Park Hall).
We hung a ‘Do not disturb’ sign on our door when we went for breakfast, but when we returned we found the door of our room wide open while our luggages were still unpacked - not sure if it was the cleaning staff or the fault of the door itself, but it did make a bad impression

Good hotel in a good location in centre of town near to the museum, bus terminal and shopping centre. Staff were super nice and breakfast was great. Given the high price its a little disappointing for what it was. If you're skiing it's not so close to the cable car. You need to take a bus or walk for 30mins up steep hills. Overall a good hotel. But overpriced with some more cleanliness (I presume the room I had was not used for sometime)

Good hotel close to everything.

A nice hotel in the heart of town and 100 metres from the War Museum. Reception staff very helpful in solving a few issues we had and gave us an upgrade to a superior room on the 9th floor. From here we had magnificent views over the harbour.

We arrived on Monday night 18th March at 10pm to a very quiet hotel and 1 EXTREMELY RUDE blonde female staff member working at reception who seemed very inconvenienced that we interrupted her conversation with her colleague by us simply arriving. We get to our room which had some missing/broken items. We noticed the bed pillows had next to no support and we wished to watch a movie to wind down before bed so after discovering that there was no way to contact reception from the room phone, I proceeded downstairs to kindly request a couple of extra pillows for the bed and to mention the room shortfalls. The rude staff member immediately said no, she did not think there were spare pillows and didn’t seem to care about the room condition, she said she will check the store room for extra pillows. After 20 minutes waiting near the lift I proceeded to return and ask if she had any luck finding some to which she said “no there is none, I checked the store room and we have no spare and the hotel is fully booked”. I let her know that I was waiting off to the side and that could see she didn’t leave the desk the and was talking to another colleague the whole time. So, no only did she lie about going to check and the hotel being full, she simply couldn’t be bothered and was offended that I called her out for her lying, lack of care and customer service. The hotel will know who this is staff member is working at the time on this date. Please follow this up.

The hotel was fine but the staff is a bit of a problem. 1. We couldn't get into the parking garage because of a fault with its entry system. When I asked about it they told me to call the parking garage operator. Why don't they?? It affects nearly every guest. 2. The waitress at the rooftop bar works very very slowly. Maybe someone with some more enthusiasm would be useful. An ingredient was missing for my cocktail, an ingredient that can be bought from any store. They don't care. 3. At breakfast I remarked to one of the staff that there were no utensils for taking pastries and bread. First they told me I was mistaken then they told me that I should have told them earlier. So, it's my fault? Staff training is necessary.

Suggest that hotel inform guests ahead of time about parking options as the main entrance to the hotel is a bus stop where you cannot park to check in and it is not clear what your options are.

We stayed here for 3 nights in January. The hotel was very easy to reach from the airport because the airport bus (Flybussen) stopped right outside the hotel. We were able to walk to restaurants within a 2 to 5 minute walk. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A buffet breakfast was available daily with a choice of hot and cold, sweet and savoury foods. Our bed was extremely comfortable and spacious and there were comfortable chairs in the room. Our room was on the 13th floor with an excellent view. The bar on the top (16th) floor has an even better view. It is possible to arrange various different trips (dog sledding, snowmobiles, Northern Lights trips) from the Reception area and pick up is also from Reception. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Narvik.

Couldn't be happier!

We couldn't asked for better service than what we received from the lady working both evening and morning shift!!! I will always recommend Scandic Narvik and hope everybody else can live up to the service she offered. We ended up in an \"emergency\" situation and she sure did what she could. Thank you sooo much!
We even tried the restaurant and were very happy with what we received there, as well as a very nice breakfast.
The hotel has a great locarion.

Nice view. Restaurant nice and food good. Breakfast good. Staff good. Room would be good, but who wants a room with no plug in the sink and only one pillow on the bed? A hotel with no plugs is never going to score points. What is the purpose? Have just moved to another Scandic hotel further north and guess what. They don’t have plugs either. Is this some weird company policy to annoy guests? I have heard some get stollen, but then again, most other hotels manage to supply them.

Die Zimmer waren sauber und unseren Kindern haben die Stockbetten wie immer gefallen. Unter dem Hotel gibt es eine Tiefgarage für 15 Euro die Nacht. Nach dem Rückweg von den Lofoten sind wir erst bei traumhaftem Wetter in den Abisko-Nationalpark in Schweden gefahren und dann abends wieder nach Narvik zurück. Das ist zeitlich absolut machbar und war sehr schön über die Hochebene der Riksgränsen zu fahren. Dabei reist man in die EU ein und wieder aus. Es gab zwar schwedische Grenzbeamte, aber wir wurden nicht kontrolliert. Absolut unproblematisch. Die Riesenpizza etwas weiter die Straße rauf fanden unsere Kinder super.
