Convenient for our overnight stay, great breakfast

We stayed here only for one night. The room was slightly cramped for the four of us, two on regular beds and two on a sofa bed that was not too comfortable. Other than that, the room was clean and well equipped. We appreciated the hotel's location within walking distance from the city center. The buffet breakfast was a treat, with a great choice of tasty food. The parking is not free; it has to be paid separately.

It was a good place but service at the front desk was slow as no one was at the desk most of the time and you had to ring a bell then wait. They also charge for parking now. They just started about 2 months ago and it's an automated system with cameras that read your licence plat when you enter, then when you leave you must pay at the kiosk in the entrance. The restaurant was closed on Sunday, the day we arrived, but the breakfast wa very good on Monday morning.

Very disappointing

It might not look far from the station on the map, but it is quite a climb and the taxi cost £13. I was put in the room farthest from reception.
Evening meal, the website showed a nice looking plate and as it was so far into town I decided to eat in. The menu was amazing, there was a choice of five or six different additions and dressings you could add to the only item on the menu, a hamburger. Having said that it was OK.
Hotel web page mentions Fjord view. No.

This is more less a motel for a quick stay. We stayed one night, staff was great, plenty of parking, we had a family size room which was large but in need of a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was tasty.

OK hotel

Hotel was situated on ascent of mountain and had two supermarkets nearby. Parking was on site and free. The room was basic with no view available which was a shame. The beds were comfy and tea / coffee making was included. Breakfast was good with wide variety of hot and cold food.
The tv was poor with limited channels and was extremely slow to respond. The toilet seat was loose and kept coming off hinges,it was repaired once but problem reoccurred.

Hotel is basic and a little dated but was very handy for the ski slopes and comfortable enough. Its a little out of the town and when snowy the walk downhill into town can be tricky. Buffet breakfast was good but not many evening meal options from what we saw.

We stayed only one night in this hotel but I would certainly stay there again. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We were leaving very early (4:00 am) to catch a flight and they arranged to have a bagged breakfast for us. The hotel restaurant provides tasty meals.

The hotel is very clean. It's a little older but kept up well.

Great ski in ski out!

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of this room and the fantastic location to the ski resort. The eating area has Windows everywhere and is very relaxing to be there. The grocery store is a stone throws away, which made buying beer easy. It is up a pretty good sized hill, so if taking the bus, be prepared to walk up the hill with all your gear! It was well worth the hike up with our stuff the first day as we didn't have to do it again and watched people daily lug up their gear to just ski.

All in all the hotel is good value for money. It is comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is vey good, including hot dishes such as sausages, meatballs, eggs, waffles etc. There is a supermarket next door and it is only a 15min walk to the main street however it is at the top of a hill so be prepared for it.

The trek up from the railway station was well worth the effort. The hotel is comfortable and the prices are reasonable (for Norway!) Good views over Narvik and convenient for the chair lift for skiing or viewing the midnight sun.

Expect no frills

Clearly aimed at the winter ski market its only use in the summer is as a relatively cheap stopover.

Reception staff was very friendly and the room was basic but clean.The out of town location was very quiet. That's the positives.

The fixed dinner was poor comprising lukewarm soup, lukewarm pork stew, insipid salad and a tasteless dessert. Breakfast was not much better.

So use if you need a quiet night, but eat out.

chose this hotel because it looked close to the railway from the map. The map didn't show the hill - so needed a taxi to the hotel.Raining my entire stay and the hotel is a good walk away from the shops. This hotel is great if you are a skier. Main users of the hotel are bus trippers.

Best Western Hotel Narvik, Norway

Norway is very expensive and Narvik is no exception. For us the Best Western Narvik was good value in that context. We had a good sized room. The beds were ok. It was clean and we had an outlook from the window.
The location is above the town near the ski lift, so be prepared for some walking or taxi fares to get to the town centre.The walk is easy enough allowing for snow and ice which we experinced in March.

Stayed 3 days in Narvik at the best western hotel. Hotel is perfect situated for skiing, as it is right next to the slopes of Narvikfjellet. Room and toilet were small but clean and service was also ok. Breakfast was great. Overall we had a pleasant stay at the best western narvik.

Location is good for a few rides up to the Lookout with the Cable Car (get a Day Ticket to go as often as you like), but it's a 10 to 15 minute walk from the railway station or town center, and it's all uphill.

Kaffen til frokost var super, men ellers synes jeg stedet bare er middels. Rommene trenger en oppdatering, og uteområdet ser ut til å bli glemt – spesielt bak hotellet. Jeg føler at prisen ikke står i forhold til det man får. I tillegg er parkeringen dyr, særlig nå må kjøre ut og inn flere ganger.

An sich ist das Hotel gut gelegen. Es gibt mehrere Supermärkte in der Nähe. Auch das Zentrum ist zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar. Allerdings ist das parken vor dem Hotel relativ teuer und es gibt auch keinen Rabatt für Hotelgäste. Das Hotel ist auch eine Anlaufstelle für Busreisen, was sich spätestens beim Frühstück negativ bemerkbar macht.

Et hotell som jeg har benyttet meg av en rekke ganger. Alltid god parkering, stille og rolig i passende avstand fra sentrum. Kanskje litt langt og gå på småglatte veier, spesielt når en skal tilbake til hotellet. Hvos det er noe som kan trekke ned er frokosten. Kanskje man er litt for godt vant fra andre steder, men har aldri gått sulten fra bordet.

Vi er et eldre par som reiste med en god del bagasje pga lengre biltur. Det var en overraskelse at det ikke fantes heis i hotellet og veldig lang vei å gå til rommet vi ble tildelt. Det var ikke mulig å få byttet rom, men resepsjonisten bar den store \"amerikakofferten\" vår ned trappa, og morgenen etter var det en sterk dame blant rengholderne som så problemet og bar kofferten opp den samme trappa.

Et helt kurant hotell, men er tydelig at det hadde trengt litt renovasjon. Framstår litt slitt. Nært alpinbakken så perfekt for dem som ønsker seg dit. Helt kurant frokost. Familierom med en dobbeltseng og tre enkeltseng er og likevel var det god plass, er veldig pluss og aldri sett tidligere. God parkering rett utenfor. Kiwi-butikk rett over gata.
