Don’t stay here . It takes you ages to get to reception if you are in room 6035. They are under construction so it’s very noisy !!!!
It’s dirty with cola bottles and plastic in the ocean. The all inclusive has so many restrictions . The food is disgusting , the FISH HOUSE fish is is inedible . ONG I could go on forever .Dont waste your money . The staff try and bribe you all the time .

I really liked my stay here! The staff was wonderful, outside property beautiful, great location, and easy to get around. The only discrepancy was my room when I checked in, every was clean except for the floor, it was a little wet and grimey, so I grabbed one of the extra towels from the bathroom and did a quick mop up of the bedroom floor to dry and clean it up so I could walk around with dry feet. That, and, I fiund out on premise, for non Eastern European visitors, like myself, the main cuisine in the main restaurant was Eastern European, not Egyptian, but the other restaurants with various other cuisines open only for dinner. So I had Eastern European style breakfast and lunch, which was OK, but I was hoping for a more international menu from their main restaurant open for all meals, now I know. Still, 4.5 stay for me, thanks again!

I am very sad to say that Sunny Days El Palacio Resort & Spa , was the most unpleasant , awful and disaster stay that we had in our life.
I would like to rank out few unacceptable service and experience that we had in this Hotel.
INFECTION:
1.One day after the arrival first myself and one day later my wife had a very heavy Intestine poisoning. We had a total watery diarrhea with heavy body ache and weakness. We noticed that during the same days some other families faced the same situation. It was not a subject that we could prove with laboratorial research results.
2.When we have shared this horrible situation with the Food and Beverage management, they were apologizing in a manner like it’s a very normal situation. Just showing a fake interest and protecting themselves just with one word “we are sorry “
3.During this period they were showing a deep regret but when we asked them from the morning to boil us potatoes for the dinner, they forgot and apologies by

Will not recommend it, room had separate beds, bedding old and not properly cleaned, same with the bathtub.
Wi-Fi is horrible and even when I paid for extra, it was not good. The food not high quality but can be eaten.
However, the facilities are great, pool and beach are fantastic!! So it’s not bad at all but the rooms need a simple upgrade.

Much better than some reviews would have you believe. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food edible. The only downside are the very small plastic cups used for the drinks- not eco friendly. There are a few sales people trying to get you on trips but you can bargain them down or book yourself online. The Wi-Fi is rubbish almost non existent. Russians are the most prominent group

The place is good and services are good too. There is a sense of generosity from the resort to the guests, and staff very friendly and kind including law enforcement who patrolled the resort they were very helpful and professional. You will definitely feel safer there than in the west. The only problem was the plumbing issue in our room, the water tap wasn’t functioning perfectly and the cold/hot water in the shower was messed up.

This is probably one of the worst places to stay at. The receptionists seem overworked and understaffed- they try to work fast and not do the job properly. Had to come down 3 times for my room key to work. The hotel is outdated and the room has everything broken. Pipes were leaking, doors wouldn’t close, AC not functioning. Do yourself a favor and pay a few dollars more and stay somewhere else. Just read the other reviews —- this hotel was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in! 1/10!!!!!

The first day they gave me aroom key with someone inside then they gave me a wrong type of room after 3 rooms finally given my room, the wash basin water knob was bad but after asking room service it was fixed,
at night when my driver came to pick us from hotel he was not allowed to enter the parking lot so we walked out to the gate which was about 300 meters away where the security personnel had bad manners and raised his voice on me too then police men calmed me down and promised to take care of it, next day had a meeting with the manager who apologized and promised that this will not be repeated again but at the next day they gave my driver hard time again.
The food was not as good as it was supposed to be according to the hotel rating and was not allowed to take breakfast to my kids in room.
Rooms and toilets are not as clean as they have to do

Take all the photos with a pinch of salt as theres three combined hotels spread across a 10min walk (including mirettes with the animal kids pool which is across a main road so under a tunnel to access)

Food was shocking. and all inclusive doesnt mean that here. its basically full board, almost. no icecream included, snack bars closed, pizza bars closed. food is often mislabeled and when is label is very vague. we had to buy food in the supermarkets.

rooms were tiny and bad condition so we moved to palma resort side (both rooms were only given a single and one double to sleep myself husband and 2 kids) so needed an put up bed. bed are extremely uncomfortable.

spa staff hound you and at one point whilst swimming had two at the pool side trying to pressure me into sign up. others had an without consent had treatments they didnt request and got billed for. they dont take no for an answer,

Kids club was nice.

No one is covid-safe - they try to shake hands and stand close, people kept touching my kids faces or high 5 them.

The beach is clean and nice, they take a lot of time caring for it.

shop keepers are quite relentless at getting you to come see their stores.

trips are cheaper booked across the road outside, and the supermarkets on the side roads dont overcharge like the others try to.

wouldnt go back, get what you pay for of course but this is just false advertising. spend the extra couple hundred and go elsewhere.

Reception : quick check in but different room than i booked
Room : bathroom is good and clean and beds are comfortable
But the room service is so bad that they didnt clean the room during all my stay

I like the location of this hotel - lagoon, coral beach and now the water park - all this gives a lot of opportunities for an enjoyable holiday. It was not too crowded, service was ok. We took sea trips with Crazy Dolphin center and dived with them at the house reef - amazing experience. By the way, house reef is a very good spot for snorkeling and diving.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in ANY hotel worldwide. Travelers beware; this is not a place for peace of mind and relaxation. Here are a few things that were terrible about this resort:

1. Don’t be fooled by all inclusive, options are very limited and they are stingy with the portion sizes which is surprising for a resort that totes an all inclusive package. If you are thirsty after midnight you will have to pay. Food is only available during limited times of the day.
2. The hotel is very outdated, the facilities are subpar which would be ok only if the customer service made up for it. Which brings me to my next point...
3. Very very poor customer service. You will have to make several requests to reception to get what you need and then they give you a poor attitude. When asking for simple things like ice the staff will ignore you. Finally as a woman I was treated poorly; some staff would not talk to me to resolve any concerns instead they insisted they talk to my male tour guide. Very frustrating/
4. Food. Yuck! Don’t do it!
5. Lacking in entertainment
6. Poorly working air conditioning

Overall I give the “resort” 0 out of 5 stars

Don't be fooled with the pictures, the property is very outdated and not maintained, we was given a room with a broken toilet seat and dirt on the bed, after complaining they moved to a different room which was slightly better, but the walls are paper-thin so expect to hear your neighbors conversations in HD quality, food is not great and selection is not good either, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Mahmood the reception manager was very helpful and made our stay slightly more bearable.

I am a keen snooker player. The hotel advertising showed a large snooker table. This was a deciding factor for me. Sadly the table was no longer used - apart from putting drinks onto. The hotel is in need of total refurbishment. Having lodged a complaint about the aircon unit and a dead light bulb nothing happened for over 24 hours. Then they offered another room. They wanted me to sign a disclaimer first to say that I was satisfied with the “upgrade” and that a basket of fruit would be sent to my new room. I suggested a bottle of wine instead - cost £9. The manager had me in his office twice over this whole affair. They would not give me a bottle of wine but happy to give me a “free” late checkout and two more al a carte dining options instead (as these do not show up on the balance sheet). The room next to mine was undergoing building works, there was plaster falling off the wall in my bedroom next to the bathroom, there was no sink plug or bath plug. I watched a member of staff water down orange juice for a dispenser. The inclusive alcohol was below standard for a typical AI resort. The Oriental restaurant serves only middle eastern food and in the Orca fish restaurant there was no choice of menu - strange for an al a carte venue. The waiters and room attendants were very friendly but chaotic in their approach. The one redeeming aspect of this property was the man made lagoon. Plenty of space for swimming and keeping away from the beach hawkers.

Spent 4 nights here.
My room had ants in the bedroom and bathroom the room was dated but had an amazing view.

The hotel breakfast is OK at best and the same goes for the dinners. We ate outside of the hotel almost every time because it wasn't very good.

The view and the price and activities like scuba diving are all that I would recommend everything else is decent at best.

Absolutely worst experience I’ve EVER had in a hotel ! Had to leave the hotel early as I felt to uncomfortable to stay here !
If you go here, expect to be sexually harassed by all the young male men working at the hotel. Constantly called at, chatted up and touched I couldn’t even get my breakfast without a waiter hitting on me. It was disgusting and uncomfortable and no women should be made to feel like that in a resort. This was the worst thing above all the rude staff,room swapping ( after getting the wrong room) etc. When discussing my concerns in tears with the so called ‘general manager’, he said he didn’t believe me. He then said he wanted to line the men up that harassed me so I could point to them. How he thought it was acceptable to talk to a women who was a victim of sexual harrasment in that way is beyond me. After spending 2 hours with him, he finally understood ( or so I thought) and said he would issue a refund to me for the inconvenience( which I appreciated as I was moving hotels). THIS NEVER CAME!!! I have messaged the hotel 7 times in the past 3 months asking where the refund is and received NO response! I have contacted every email that has been provided and heard nothing.
I’m confused and don’t understand how these people think this is acceptable to treat people this way!
He clearly said he would refund it to get us out of the hotel and then waved it off like it’s not their issue anymore. If you are a women- this is NOT the place to go to be respected

The location was great because it was right next to the Red Sea, however, this resort is FAMILY friendly so expect many kids. Open buffet means ppl act like savages

A good hotel, nice staff, good accomodation and the best beach from Hurghada. Is for 10th times when I coming in Egypt and for 3rd time in this hotel. I recomand this local for view, for beach and for activities

A good hotel, nice staff, good accomodation and the best beach from Hurghada. Is for 10th times when I coming in Egypt and for 3rd time in this hotel. I recomand this local for view, for beach and for activities. Maybe if they will be change something with meals, will be better. Some benefits and mixed, will be a big plus for this hotel.

It’s for the herds ....

I wrote lots of reviews and stayed in lots of places throughout the world, this the LEAST organized, LEAST professional and the LEAST cooperative place. Even when I asked to speak to the GM twice they moved around trying to get busy and get my requests done ... but NEVER spoke to anyone in charge.
It’s geard towards LARGE groups of Russians and former Eastern European countries .... they heard everyone to different activities. The food is like the Golden Trough (Only Americans will get this joke). They have other restaurants to eat included in the All Inclusive program but they DO NOT TELL you about. I found by a chance when my son refused to eat anymore of the same STUFF, we tried to enter and a VERY NICE waiter explained to me it’s by reservation ONLY. He was kid nd enough to take me to the person in charge which wasn’t going to allow us to eat, when I asked for the GM to complain about the SCAM - We were allowed to have a sit down meal ...
99 percent of the staff are NON professional up to western standards, but the other type of NEW tourists don’t mind, most were just as RUDE shoving and pushing as if you’re in a third world fish market.

Decent all inclusive resort

Overall the hotel is nice. The rooms are nice and clean and we had a small balcony with a view over the pool/sea. We were supposed to get a double or queen bed, but only got 2 small beds that they said we could push together. The alcohol selection is minimal and basic, but works. The internet is all but non-existent. You need to pay for internet outside of the lobby, and inside the lobby is free. However I never was able to get the lobby internet to work. The pool/bay had a nice configuration and was good for relaxing.

End of winter break

Stayed at this hotel got the first time in 4 visits to Hurghada. Lovely place great staff and excellent value for money. Good location also £2 taxi to Sheraton. The place is not the Ritz but the prices you pay this is a very good hotel. The lagoon is really nice and snorkellimng at the side beach. Food was good foe Egypt and always something there to eat through each meal. Staff were excellent from the all the pooll guys, bar staff throughout the hotel and the cleaners who did not stop. A big thankyou for the hard work to the entertainment team Katya and Rihan. Ovberall a good place to stay and we will be looking at the pices for this hotel next year.

Nice view but needs lots of improvements

1. Check-in experience was terrible. They took more than an hour to find my booking, despite me showing them the email confirmation. After that, the staff was trying to change the room that I booked by saying that the room I requested was not available. They tried to offer a room once without balcony, another with two separate beds, another without seaview...etc. I strongly believe that the staff was trying to manipulate the issue for their own interest. They finally let me have my requested room after an uphill battle and lots of persistence.

2. The room has a nice view but it needs lots of improvements as a few things were broken, malfunctioning ....etc. Here are some examples:

a. Safe did not function right from the first minute when the hotel boy was trying to set it up for us.

b. Bathroom exhaust fan was very noisy, rattling when switched on, blowing dirt into the bathroom when switched on in a reverse manner.

c. Hot water does not come on consistently. It seems that the system is manipulated such that it delivers one part hot water followed by 9 parts of cold water. It was not possible to have a steady stream of warm water.

d. Balcony door did not lock securely; one of the days was windy and the door kept opening and rattling in such a way we could not sleep on that night, despite pushing the heavy coffee table against it.

3. Variety of food is non-existence, lots of bread, poor main course and dessert corner.

4. Lots of lights in the corridor were burnt out.

My Honeymoon

We spent one week of our honeymoon in Sunnydays El Palacio. I’m so grateful for the hotel excellent service starting from the reception with Mr. David who has been so helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel crew are great and helpful. Nice sea view. Good food. We will come back in July.

Large hotel but still retained personal attention

So much food that you could eat 24 hours a day. Entertainment was good especially as I was out of season. This was my fifth stay and I look forward to my sixth
