Location fantastic, the rest is average

The room was clean but small, balcony was nice. Bed was two single beds which, while pushed together, were not attached so easy to slip down the middle. Breakfast buffet was average, nothing special. But the location of the hotel is spectacular & there are loads of nice breakfast places nearby.

Budget Hotel, which was great value for money. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We had a club room, it was very small but had everything you need, the shower especially was poweful with consistent hot water. Good choice at breakfast, hot or cold, whatever you wanted. Location was excellent, 6m walk to the east coast of Elli beach, less than 5m walk to shops, restaurant's and bars, Mandraki port about 10min and the Old Town 20min walk.

I have stayed at the Esperia on many occasions. The hotel is extremely well run. The staff are 'wonderful', always friendly and helpful.
The location is near to the beach, the Mandraki ( harbour) and the Old Town. It is also convenient for bus services.

Breakfast amazing! Rooms small. Park area across from hotel seemed sketchy. Some drug use there so seemed unsafe. Even though I booked large room for 4 adults in hotel in January, they did not keep that room available and sent our family across street to apartment building. Also told them first day our phone didn’t work, but it was never repaired and we could not call family room to room all 5 days we were there.

Great rates available but check the sites for offers there's usually quite a variation. Overall great value for money and if you can get the cost of breakfast included its worth it.

Good Points
Location perfect with the old town, harbor, beach, beach, new town , shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.
Great breakfast buffet available, usually included with most bookings, lots of continental and cooked breakfast items available from 7am -11am with indoor and outdoor pool side tables for dining.
Clean comfortable rooms, good A/C , balcony, fridge, daily cleaning.
Nice bar and foyer area
Small square pool ideal but perfectly adequate for cooling down, with plentiful poolside sunloungers with shaded cover.
Friendly helpful staff.

Could be better
Very difficult for parking so best if you don't have a car (which you don't need here), we ended up several miles away.
Limited space on road for pickup and drop off of taxis to access hotel.
Rooms have safe but they try and charge you for it so we didn't bother, really 11 euros to rent a room safe?

Overall great hotel in ideal location, great breakfast, good rates will certainly stay again indeed just booked.

Good value for money and the price included the air conditioning. Only problem being that the hotel had turned all the air conditioning system off as it was ended of season and the hotel was closing soon.

It's still 24 degress in the day and 21 on a night so rooms are a bit too warm, so rather ruined the experience.

Otherwise nice enough room and ok breakfast.

Pool is tiny though and not big enough to swim in and its in a small shady yard, so if you like a nice pool to sit around its not much good.

Would stop again but maybe not early or late season if they've got the air con off!

Great value for money hotel in the centre of town

We only stayed for one night and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is in the centre of Rhoes Town, easily accessible to shops, restaurants and both beaches. We had a re-furbed room on the first floor which included a double bed with sliding doors to a room with a kitchenette, wardrobes and 2 further single beds. The only thing that let it down was the very small bathroom although everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was adequate and the hotel had a small pool with a few loungers and tables where you could also have breakfast but not a pool to stay round all day. Overall a good 3* hotel at an excellent price.

Great stay at Esperia!

We booked an apartment and it was fabulous! Newly renovated with a large shower. Our room had 1 queen bed and two twins with dividing doors and two balconies. The location was ideal: 5 min to Ellie beach, 10 min to Leontas street (fab restaurants) and 20 min to the Old City.

Fantastic apart from the bathroom and shower too small (on our first 10 days).
Staff were super friendly and everything ran smoothly.
Physical access was great, we were able to enjoy everything about the visit.
Perfect location for shopping to the new and old city including the beach. The hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality.

Hotel was central but room was needing repair the bathroom door doesn’t open properly and hits the toilet, door frames have been damaged and bad paint job to cover. No PowerPoint next to beds which I needed for sleep apnea machine.
Beds were made everyday which was nice and there was 2 lifts which was great

Stayed 2 nights at the end of October (probably one of their last guests of the season - they were closing up). Have used this hotel previously - one of the better moderately priced hotels in Rhodes: good early breakfast, newish beds, helpful staff. Room, although not large, had tv, balcony, no tea/coffee making though, bathroom was fine. Hotel also has a small pool. Free wifi in bar area.
Hope to stay here again.

You get what you pay for !

Pros.
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was for 07:00 to 11:00 so no rush to eat.
Nicely situated in the heart of the town with easy walking distance to the beaches, harbour, old town.
Good mattresses on the beds, and the fridge in the room was very useful.
Cons:-
The air con was turned off on the third day , and the room got hot and stuffy at night, option of leaving the balcony door open if you wanted to be the mosquito's eat all you can buffet.
No extract from the on suite shower/toilet which just added to the dampness in the room with the door shut.
The sound conducted through the concrete floors and thin doors so it sounded like every one walking by was in your room , and the wooden bed legs scrapping on the floor above was quite sleep disturbing..
The night the emergency generators kicked in sounded like a 30 ton diesel lorry at the end of the bed.for 20 mins.( and that was with the balcony doors closed)
WiFi was only in the lounge- not in the room.
The pool did not get any sun so was very cold , the pool sunbathing area only had sun from 11:15 h. to 16:00 h.. as it is shaded by tall building all around.
Pounced on by restaurant staff and shops if you stop to look at the menu or goods

In the heart of the new town

Beds comfortable and room very clean. Do remember not to put toilet paper down to toilet as the Greek system does not like it.
Pool nice to relax in and beside. Breakfast was a feast. book exchange available and very friendly reception staff, who were very helpful.

The bathroom wasn't that good, since the shower was very small and the plastic curtain in the bathroom couldn't hold the water so the water was allover the floor. In the room we coudnt conect with the internet.
The room was spacy and comfortable, the mattress was very comfortable

Remember to bring ears plug!

Location is ok, not too far away from bus terminal. From airport, you can get off before terminal and save some walking.
Many restaurant around at reasonable price, just have to shop around a bit as some price differences are great.
It is close to the Northen point of the island, short walk to the beach.
The down side of this hotel is noise (like other comments). It *is* very noisy. Noise from hallway, people next door, loud cars reving down the street at night, drunk people yelling and signing, nearby bar just to name a few sources.
*No WiFi* in room. Only if you live very close to lobby. Yes, WiFi only available in lobby.
Matress feel old and need to replace. You sink into the matress. Somewhat too soft to sleep in.
Double bed = 2x single bed. According to front desk, all rooms are config the same. There are no one bed.

The first room was looking straight into another window so I could not open curtains. I requested a move which came 4 days later. No Air con, Fridge did not work. Only one wall socket and you climb through shower to close bathroom door. It is now a very tired hotel.Staff were nice. Breakfast was fine.Needs a desperate makeover. I was on 2nd floor.If you are slightly large you will have problems with bathroom. Only a liquid soap in bathroom so take your own toiletries. Also no coffee making facilities.Location is perfect for everything.

We arrived to the hotel late, we were exhausted and wanted to sleep. BUT, once we entered the room it smelled pee all over, the beds were not clean at all. We had difficulties falling asleep from the smell and the thought of dirt all around us.

The hotel was basic but comfortable for an overnight stay. The bathroom could be improved with a shower head that is fixed to the wall.
The free wifi that's advertised rarely works and seems to only allow a handful of people to be connected at a time. Very frustrating when relying on it for information or contact with friends and family.

Relatively disappointing experience

I stayed in this hotel for about 5 nights. The room was very small, shower facility was not appropriate. Luckily I was an average body size person, otherwise I would not be able to enter the shower room, yet it was very difficult to avoid touching the walls.
The Internet connection was terrible. Breakfast was good.

Although it took a while to grab a cab to this hotel, it was in a great location not in, but close enough to Old Rhodes town. It's location ended up being a benefit because there were scads of restaurants nearby and they were all more reasonably priced than any we encountered while visiting Old Rhodes and the quality was far superior. Staff was very helpful, even printed my ferry etickets for me.

While this was a good hotel to stay at I am not raving about it saying that you must stay here. The internet is only in the common area and barely works, they give you a one hour pass to use it. The location of the hotel is the best part, walking distance to the old town.

We only stayed for 3 nights - and it suited us fine. Clean bedding and towels daily with lots of things to do near by. Ignore the grotty bars and restaurants nearby and head to old town (5min walk) where the really greek culture is! Not bad for price

Great Location

I needed a stay overnight in Rhodos before reaching my final destination. The central location of the hotel was perfect for visiting both the old and the new town in Rhodos. Also supermarkets, restaurants and cafes were just a step away. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made my short stay very comfortable. The room was adequate for my needs and above all clean and tidy. There was some noise from the street at night however reasonable due to the hotel's central location. Breakfast included a variety of food and beverages for all tastes. I would certainly stay again at Esperia.

It is a huge hotel with a big and pleasant lobby with a bar and plenty of sitting area outside in a pleasant setting. Location is perfect, close to the beach and town, tons of restaurants around. The night club street is 2 blocks away if that is your thing. Room is clean and big, but it is a big shame that the bathroom was designed terribly. It feels like some one forgot the bathroom and add it at the last minute. The room has plenty of room to spare to make for a decent- sized bathroom. If you are a big person or handcapped, do not push your luck. Otherwise, it is a great value. The breakfast is one of the best i've seen except the coffee, which is not good. I'll still highly recommend.

It is a basic hotel, but clean. The bathrooms are very small, but if you are out and about all day and want a place to sleep in this hotel has comfy beds, a small balcony and a fridge. A good beakfast in the morning, helpful staff and a relaxed feel to it. It is in a good position, a 10 minute walk to the old town, near beaches and a taxi rank.

I would like to stay the Hotel again, if those would be improved.

1.Hotel attendant's mind (some may not think us a customer)
When I come to reception, no one there approx. 50%. ( may be accidentally )
When I stand by the hotel bar to try to order, i was ignored and bar attendant kept talking each other.
( Just when I'm leaving, the attendant came to me and asked my order.)

2.Internet connectivity
Wi-Fi connection is limited only at reception and it sometimes didn't work.

3.Room cleanliness
Room was not so cleaned as expected. ( sand from beach which might be previous customer's remained )
The glass I used hasn't been changed through 2 days.

Superb staff let down by management decisions.

The staff were superb. Friendly and dedicated. BUT, the management in their wisdom have decided that the air conditioning cannot be switched on before 1st June. Our room faced the sun, the temperatures were mid to high 20s Celsius, and even with the curtains closed the room was unbearable by 0900. We slept with one of the balcony doors open to let some cool air into the room. This let the mossies in as well.
There is no extractor fan in the bathroom. Not very nice if sharing with a friend...
There was only one electricity socket, which only worked when the room key was inserted into the electricity slot. We had 3 mobile phones, one camera, one Kindle and a tablet to charge... The fridge also switched off when we took the key out of the slot (which we discovered also accepts loyalty cards).
Take an odd-numbered room, these face the pool so are quieter and cooler; and don't accept a room numbered less than n10, as they have the benefit of noise from two roads. Rooms numbered n11 upwards only have one road's noise.

Otelin konumu çok iyi, şehrin yeni kısmında restoranlara ve plaja yürüme mesafesinde. Benim konaklamam esnasında yan tarafta bir inşaat çalışması vardı ama genelde sessiz. Klima çok iyi çalışıyor ki Rodos için çok önemli bir husus. Oda biraz ufaktı, özellikle banyo. Çalışanlar güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Özellikle housekeeping çok iyi çalışıyor. Kahvaltıyı biraz yetersiz buldum açıkçası. Scamble egg yenecek durumda değildi. Yatak gayet rahattı, rahat bir uyku çektim yorucu günün sonunda. Tekrar konaklamayı düşünürüm.

Rigtig fint hotel, som ligger helt perfekt i Rhodos. Fin morgenmadsbuffet med det der skal være, og god service. Eneste minus ved hotel er at der er ufattelig lydt, ikke fra gade larm, men fra de andre værelser og gangen. Man kunne følge med i alt naboen snakkede om.

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Es war alles sauber. Nur leider sah unser Zimmer nicht aus wie auf den Fotos.. das Bad ebenfalls. Ich hatte einfach andere Erwartungen. Die Dusche war auch sehr klein. Ansonsten war aber alles gut. Freundliches Personal. Lage war perfekt!

Rent och fräscht boende med superläge

Läget är super. Nära stranden, stan och massor av restauranger. Det kan nog inte bli bättre.
Mycket bra hotellfrukost där alla i familjen kan hitta något de vill ha. De försöker också variera den med olika frukter och varma rätter.
Personalen är väldigt trevlig. Hälsar alltid och väldigt hjälpsamma. Vi hade en 2-rumslägenhet med gott om utrymme. Städning, bäddning och nya handdukar varje dag. Kan absolut komma tillbaka hit igen.

Hyggelig personale og rent rom. Men tilstanden på rommet var ikke svært koselig, med ødelagt dusj, åpen isolasjon i veggene, løse hengere. Man hørte også veldig godt mellom rommene, spessielt ut på gangen, som ikke var noe koselig. Ikke anbefalt hvis man ønsker seg en fin tur til rhodos, da burde man velge bedre kvalitet. Herşey çok rahattı ve temizdi herhangi bir sıkıntı yaşamadık otele ne girişte nede çıkışta ama duş başlığının değiştirilmesi yada tamir edilmesi gerekiyor yerinde durmuyor ayar yapamıyorsunuz onun dışında herşey fiyat performans olarak çok iyi
Everything was fine no problem at all by the entrance to the hotel check in or check out was quick and helpfull staff was excellent and they looking for solve the problem you have. smiley faces and helpful staff cleanliness was perfect. The only problem I can say about the showerhead was not properly working you can’t adjust it they need to replace or fix it thanks for everything

Bra budgetlösning

Var två duschar och en toa för lägenhetshuset vi hade, ett uttag hade ramlat av, så lite obehagligt, men personalen löste det snabbt! Var bra med aircondition och var väldigt rent dock är rummen väldigt lyhörda så man hör i princip varje ord från de som passerar i korridoren.
Allt som allt rätt bra som budgethotell

Centraal gelegen, dicht bij beide stranden en nieuwe stad en n half uurtje lopen naar oude stad.
Appartement was prima, fijne bedden, alleen betonnen rand rond 2 persoons bed was vervelend, vaak tenen gestoten…
Badkamers klein, oude was veel niet in orde: douchekop kapot, overal schimmel, gewoon niet goed onderhouden. Wel een luxe om 2 douches en wastafels te hebben. Iedere dag schone handdoeken, in 7 nachten alleen 1x onderlakens verschoond, kon net.
Veel leuke restaurants heel dicht bij, heerlijke (goedkope) drankjes bij Arena tegenover het hotel.
Zwembad prima, genoeg bedjes, maar water na paar dagen warm en echt troebel.

Utdatert hotel nær Strand og sentrum.

Rommet var ok, men badet var veldig utdatert. Det luktet kloakk og dusjen var så liten at plastikk dusjforheng klistret til deg når du dusjer. Ekstra kostnader for bruk av safe. Er lite pluss er ok frokost.

Rodos adasinda 3 yıldız bir hotelden bekleyenleri karşılıyor. Hotel eski tabiki odalar yenilense modernize edilse iyi olur. Denize yakin. Merkeze yakin.

Strandnahes Cityhotel

Sehr gut gelegenes Cityhotel, die Strände sind sehr nahe und die Altstadt von Rhodos auch sehr fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt ab auch jede Menge Restaurants gleich um die Ecke. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Πολυ καθαρό και ανακαινισμένο διαμέρισμα! Ανετα στρώματα και αρκετα ήσυχο περιβάλλον.πολύ καλή τοποθεσία.κεντρικό και κοντά στη παραλία. Το προσωπικο ήταν πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό.
