The staff was lovely and the location was super. The room was small as was the bath but it was well designed. The breakfast was just ok. The one bad thing was that there was an emergency during the night and there was no night staff to help out.

The room with balcony is very small, you will struggle to have 2 large suitcases in the room. The balcony it's self is fantastic and superb view. Room is clean and in great conditions. Staff was welcoming.

The property has been upgraded so everything is pretty new. However, the room is small and the shower is tiny. Breakfast is good, lots of selection and cooked well.

The location is convenient but can get noisy at night, it's located in the middle of town. We got woken up the middle of the night when a man started yelling in English (must be a tourist).

I am giving it a 2 because there are some obvious small things missing:
- no water boiler/coffer maker in room, or anywhere in the property.
- only 2 paper cups in the room. Usually I expect a cup (for coffee/tea, which is missing too) and a glass.
- the shower is small and the shower door doesn't close very tight;y, leaking water to outside.
- the first night we were there, there were only 1 body towell with 2 hand towell (and no face towell).

I just feel a lot of the shortcomings is due to housekeeping, easily fixable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carpe Diem hotel. The location of the hotel in Old Town was excellent, and super walkable to everything we wanted to see. The charm and location can't be beat. The welcoming and caring staff made it an excellent stay. We enjoyed our breakfast and views from our room.

We parked at the port, and walked about 10 minutes with our luggage to get to the hotel. This was no problem for us. The car can't get there directly. We also found the area around the hotel to be noisy - though that's what you get for staying in the centre of old town! It wasn't a problem - though I'm glad I brought earplugs for sleeping.

Overall we found this to be a great hotel and location with all the charm we wanted from our Nafplio visit!

Quiet, clean and very comfortable. The overall stay was great! Parking is definitely an issue in the area and can be confusing as the hotel is on pedestrian only roads. We recommend just parking at the port and walking to the hotel (~400m).

This is a boutique hotel, so rooms are small, but not an issue if like us, you are just needing a room to sleep while you adventure.

Breakfast is included (place your order the night before) and the portiond are massive (no complaints with that!)

The hotel is in an excellent location. Right next to the waterfront, with lots of restaurants, shops, cafes, etc. Hotel amenities were great - the room was small but very clean and neat and perfect for a solo traveler. I had a spacious balcony with a beautiful view, which I preferred more than a spacious room! The breakfast was great to my taste. The receptionist will ask you the night before what you’d like to have for breakfast and they’ll have it ready for you in the morning. The staff was very nice, courteous and helpful. A shoutout to Martina, the receptionis! She’s great. Thank you!

This small and cute hotel is in the center of the old city. Lots of good energy at every corner, great shopping and restaurants everywhere. The hotel and our room impressed by wife (not an easy thing to do) and she thanked me for picking it. Free breakfast and free parking. Can't go wrong picking this spot in a city I never heard of but will never forget!

Definitely book the larger room if not traveling solo. The smaller roo. Is nice but too tight for 2. The larger room is quite comfortable, we had a wrap-around balcony and the bathroom was ample. Nice to have closet space. Staff was so pleasant and even helped us get laundry done quickly. They serve a terrific breakfast tailored to order.

Martina at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She welcomed us as if we were old friends and bent over backwards to help us find excellent restaurants and activities. The hotel was very charming. Their breakfasts were delicious and the food plentiful. It is located one block from the harbor and lies in the posh shopping area of the old town. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. I highly recommend the Carpe Diem Boutique Hotel!

Boutique hotel très bien placé. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre avec terrasse, ce que nous avons apprécié. Personnel tres sympatique et aux petits soins avec leurs clients. Bon petit déjeuner.
Le seul hic est que nous avons eu un souci de Wi Fi dans la chambre et le personnel a tout fait pour règler le problème sans succès mais nous ne leur en voulons pas. Je recommande ce boutique hotel pour les futurs voyageurs.

First want to state that Nafplio is an absolute gorgeous little town & this darling boutique hotel sits right in the middle of the best area! As soon as you step outside the hotel, You are transported into quintessential beauty. The rooms (although small for USA travelers) have been designed and layed out for immense comfort and accommodations. Hotel is new. Everything fresh and excellent quality. Added bonus was the included amazing “made to order” breakfast! The hostess whom greeted us upon check in was kind & informative. I highly recommend this spot.

Carpe Diem hotel is an 8 room hotel on one of the narrow pedestrian only streets in old town Naplion. The location is fantastic. It needs improvement in several areas. Our room (101) is clean and modern and well lit, but is so small that there is not enough room to room to open 2 suitcases. The bathroom is tiny with no room for toiletries. The 2 hooks for towels are above the toilet paper and above the toilet. Don’t let either slip. The shower is good and the bed comfortable. The top sheet and blanket were folded up so you essentially had to make your own bed.
The staff was marginally helpful and offered neither directions nor maps, even though we found a stash of them in the corner of the lobby. They weren’t rude but they were impersonal and not what you would expect from a pricey “boutique “ hotel. Breakfast was good, but not great.

All of the staff we had the pleasure of meeting were incredible, the breakfast was superb, the shower was the best we’ve ever had, and the location could not have been more perfect. Normally when we go on vacation we like to try out new hotels, but we will always stay here in Napflio, it was the best.

This hotel is located in the heart of the old town, very close to the water. Just feet away from the front door, you can find dining, shops, and activities. The single room 301 has a spectacular view of the Palamidi Fortress, and street below the hotel. The Double room 201 has a nice small patio with a view of the street below. The rooms were very attractive, and set up efficiently to maximize space. GREAT bathroom (shower was excellent and stylish.) Great food selection for breakfast. Helpful staff. Very environmentally conscious hotel. A very good value in Nafplion -- I have stayed in the town a dozen times, and would return to this hotel. All the modern conveniences you need.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful especially Georgia. It was quiet, great location and close to lots of restaurants. The rooms have a balcony which is really nice to sit on in the evenings. The black out curtains are great too. The only issue we found was that our room was very small and we couldn’t not really put our suitcase anywhere else apart from the bed. The bathroom was also very tiny. It was ok as we only stayed 3 nights but for a much longer stay, the size of the room would have been a challenge.

Truly my favorite hotel experience to date! The junior suite is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful decor inside and on the huge outdoor balcony with a view of the town and the castle. All of the recommendations provided at the front desk were perfect - both for the walk to the beach in town and a beach and restaurant to stop at on our drive back to Athens. On top of all of this, the breakfast included in the stay was absolutely delicious :)

The staff here is absolutely phenomenal! They took care of us from beginning to end and answered all our questions about the area. The room was immaculate and the air-conditioning kept us cool on scorching summer nights. We loved the design flair of the TV on a rotating carousel, for viewing from the couch or bed. All the decorations were fun and chosen with care.
The hotel is located close to free harbor parking, and right within the hub of all the local shops and tavernas. Nafplio was the gem of our Greek vacation and we will definitely come back! Highly recommend Carpe Diem!

Lovely, clean boutique hotel. We had a huge patio on the 3rd floor. Room is quite small but very comfortable. Note that the 3rd floor requires a short climb up stairs as the elevator goes only to the 2nd floor. The breakfast is nice. Parking is on the street but you can leave the car for the whole stay at no charge.

Loved our stay at this wonderful boutique hotel. The location was PERFECT. Right in the heart of the city and ideal to explore the city on foot. The rooms were amazing, the bed super comfortable, the rain shower has just the right amount of water pressure, breakfast very tasty and the staff was so so friendly. Will definitely stay again when visiting Nafplio again.
