Breakfast was busy and staff had a difficult time keeping up. Not a deal breaker. The pool area was nice but there were never any pool towels available. At one point I asked the front desk for towels for the pool and got hand towels.

Overall our stay was not terrible and for the price hard to beat but next time I might spend a little more for better amenities.

My stay started out horrible. At check in the women at the desk was not helpful.I admit I had a challenging request. Im semi disabled.I can't walk very far and my partner is in a wheelchair.So I requested a wheelchair room on the first floor.She wanted to give me a room on the second floor. I told her I could not walk that far and she proceeded to yell at me very loudly about my attitude She found one on the first.floor and i asked where the wheelchair ramps from the parking where.She refused to answer me.Handed me the keycard and I left in pain and upset.The keycard did not work,so i went to her and she told me she would have to open the door for me everytime I went in the room.For the next hour I propped open the door to bring my stuff in. Luckly my daughter and grandson came and helped me get George in the room.The only wheelchair ramp I found was in the front of the building.There were no handicapped parking spaces left he was wheeled completely around the building.While doing this the room door slid shut.My daughter went to ask to open my door and came back upset that the women at the front desk was rude to her.We got George in bed &fell asleep. Exhausted and in pain.The room wasn't a wheelchair ada compliant room.He couldn't transfer to the toilet and I can't lift him.He also could't shower.One grab bar and no stool.If he was able to get in the tub he couldn't reach soap.Next day&the rest of my stay the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

We stayed for 2 nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Staff were wonderful. Check in was a breeze. Maintenance saw us in the pool and asked if the pool was warm and we said no. Instantly went to turn up the heat and came back to check on us and it was warm. They only offered pork for breakfast and we asked if they have turkey sausage and they did and made some for us. Breakfast was decent, coffee was good. Rooms were very clean

Modern and clean room with the amenities of small refrigerator and microwave at a reasonable rate. Excellent continental breakfast. I would suggest you look at the shower head pressure. So powerful it soaks through the curtain and puddles on the floor

It was our first stay at this location, the receptionist was exceptional. I called ahead for an early check in and she walked me through the IHG One rewards program and I signed up on line with no problem. When we arrived she further explained at the benefits and gave me information about it. She is the perfect person for her job. The room was good and the breakfast was exceptional for a hotel with complimentary breakfast. Thank you for a great experience.

We had a great time in Williamsburg, the hotel was nice, comfortable beds. Our issue was the terrible mold that was growing in the shower. As the grout was dark it wasn’t noticeable until you looked closely. At first I thought it was a lousy tile job. Nope, dark mold along all the tiles.

Location of hotel was good, but the bathroom of room 302 smelled like sewage. There was no bathroom fan, as well. One of the queen beds was creaky and not supported on one side of the bed (i.e., springs worn out). We did enjoy the breakfast service and food.

Great location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and continually refilled- we have stayed at other places with free breakfast and had to get there super early or risk no food left and that was not the case here. Eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, toast, English muffins and plenty of everything. Staff continually filled and cleaned throughout the morning. They also had grab and go bags if you are in a rush. Pool was clean and good size to splash around with a family. Hotel was a little outdated but the breakfast, pool, friendly staff, cleanliness and location completely win over a little outdated decor. Great stay and we will def be back!

Best part, was not overwhelmed by the odor of Marijuana. Clean and fresh air and left the room to the great odor of a fresh breakfast. 😌

My husband and I stayed here after a trip to Busch Gardens. The location was convenient and room was perfect for an overnight stay.

Greg was so helpful and friendly. He greeted us cheerfully and checked us in. He told us about the rewards program and offered us our first perk as members - a cold bottle of water and a snack bag. This was just what we needed instead of a heavy meal.

We would definitely return.

The staff at the front desk is phenomenal. However, housekeeping left our door unlocked after putting towels in the room. We were at Busch Gardens all day and came back to an unlocked door propped open with the latch. This is unacceptable. Fortunately, nothing was stolen.

Worst experience! Paid for a certain room didn’t get it. Talked to front desk told me they shut down the 3rd floor told I can wait till the next day and maybe will have a room. Went to use the bathroom and it was dirty! Had to switch rooms new room had no hot water, no phone, dirty sheets and smelled of urine. Would not be back to this location had to find a new hotel.

Everything was mediocre at best. The location was the best part as a lot of things were nearby. Our AC went out in one rooms we booked. The second room booked in the reservation smelled of cat pee and they wouldn't accommodate a room change. The pool was mildewy and the ADA compliant chair lift was about rusted all the way through. Wouldn't trust it with my pinky toe. Breakfast was okay but not the greatest, y'all really need at least two people to assist with breakfast, not just one attendant.

This is the best hotel in Williamsburg. The service is top tier and the GM is incredible. He was always there asking if we needed anything. We even asked him if he live there because he was there all the time. The breakfast was wonderful and food service workers were efficient and nice.

We left to find another hotel shortly after check in. The room did not have a clean appearance or smell; the room had a stale odor, the walls were dirty, the TUB WAS DISGUSTING and had obvious wear and tear and lack of attentiveness to cleanliness and up keep over time. Just not the standard of Holiday Inn Express we experienced in the past, so we were shocked. Even the lobby area was the first red flag that management hasn’t put in effort in the cleanliness and upkeep of the building.

The front desk ladies (supervisor and the assistant general manager) were kind and professional. They were not only warm and welcoming to my children and gave the birthday boy a snack bag, but they were professional and understanding when we needed an early check out.

I was in room 326. The room would not open with the key card as I’m assuming the batteries needed to be changed. The bathroom, especially the bathtub was disgusting. We had towels that were soaked when we entered the room. The TV also did not work. I paid 258 dollars for this stay and would have probably been better off sleeping in my car.

Service and staff were excellent, breakfast was great. The room and all public areas of the hotel were very clean. The negatives were the bed was very old and very visibly sagging which made for a difficult nights sleep. Also, the room furnishings and bathtub were old with lots of surface damage. The cosmetic issues in the room weren't bothersome but the bed quality affected our stay.
