Staff and food were excellent. Property is old and needs upgrading. It rained overnight while we were there and the hotel leaked in corridors. Water everywhere in corridors and the stairs between floors.
Rooms acceptable but not as clean as they should be.
This hotel has a sister hotel across the street and that is where most of the facilities are, big onsen bath etc.

Very beautiful Ibsen hotel great for a getaway! It said it was close to a beach but if you don’t mind driving 30 minutes to an hour to get to a beach then it was fantastic. Very nice to sit in the Ibsen and listen to the waves crash after a long day! The food was phenomenal! There was so much good food I had to stop eating but I couldn’t help but try one more! Overall great stay just wish it was closer to the beach.

Great hotel, but the pool closes at 5pm and doesn't open until 9am. The nice staff let us swim after 5pm. The breakfast is set only at a certain time so that can be inconvenient. Overall, very nice hotel and the staff is amazing!

Nice little hotel with friendly staff

I stayed at this small hotel for a night on a recent weekend trip out to Shimoda to visit some beaches. Getting there with luggage was quite easy since they have a shuttle bus service from the closest train station, Izu-Inatori. They recommend you call them in advance of your arrival, but I was quite lucky in that there was an employee holding a banner with the hotel name on it. When I asked him about the shuttle bus he guided us to it and in a few minutes we were at the hotel.

Check-in was a breeze. As soon as we came through the front door we switched over to some hotel-provided sandals and were lead to some couches in the lobby to relax. We were provided juice and some light jelly snacks. An employee came over and began taking my information to confirm the booking (including making copies of my passport and my friend's passport) as well as providing me information on the breakfast that was included in my room, where the afternoon tea/pancake service was held and which hot springs and pools were available. We ended up using one of the private baths in the hotel since we are both tattooed (it can be difficult traveling in Japan with tattoos) so i can't comment on the public pool that is available in the sister hotel across the street.

The afternoon pancake service was nice and breakfast the following morning was very good. Even though Japanese style breakfast is far from my favorite I still enjoyed the steamed vegetables and fish quite a bit.

I just looking for a simple hotel to stay, close to the beach and I've found more than that at the Shinyu no Yado Sazana. Gorgeous hotel with a great Asian decoration, beautiful rooms, outdoor pool and great staff. Couldn't be better.

The facilities are OK, but we felt it was too expensive for the cost of lodging without breakfast. We also felt that the staffs were not kind and friendly compared with the other Japanese inns or hotels we used. In addition, thee places for dinner or breakfast were scares near the hotel.

朝の7時に突然部屋の電話がなり、何事かと思い電話にでると、「本日清掃は入りますか？」の確認電話だった。

睡眠薬を飲まないと寝れない私でやっと寝れた日にそんな内容で叩き起こされるとは思ってもみなかった。

チェックアウトの日は私が悪いのですが、10時のチェックアウトに間に合わず、10:40頃にチェックアウトをしたところ、30分分の延長料金をしっかり払わされました。

昨日の対応さえなければ何も思いませんでしたが、さすがにモヤモヤする宿でした。もう二度と泊まりません。

家族旅行。素敵な思い出になりました。

全体的に、お部屋、お食事、サービス、そしてロケーションもとっても良かったです。

今回は、大学が決まった長女のお祝いも含めた家族旅行でした。

ウェルカムドリンク&フードのチーズケーキが、大変美味しくて皆で「これはっ!美味しい‼️」と口々に言うほどでした。

接客は、とても丁寧でした。質問にも的確にお答えいただけて、助かりました。
お風呂は本館も使えて、なんだか得をした気分でした。本館からの海が眺められる露天風呂も息子と、これは最高だな。朝日も見たいね。　と話しながら息子の将来の話をゆっくり聞けました。本館までは、下駄をお借りできるので、非日常感が味わえました。

お食事は、夕飯は、コースでお腹いっぱいになりました。コースのお写真も付けてみました。
金目鯛が2尾出てきて、驚ました。
食べ盛りの男の子1人いて、なんとか食べ切れるほどの量です。それでも、美味しくて食べてしまったー。と言う感じです。

朝ご飯も量は多いです！少食と思われる方は、おかずだけで十分か、食べきれないかもしれません。

浴衣も可愛くて、女性陣は選ぶ時に楽しそうでした。

翌朝、息子と朝日を見に3月の海に散策してきましたが、これもとても良かったです。写真はその時の朝日です。

布団を敷いてあると言われたが敷いていなくて部屋を間違えていましたと言われた。
近くの料理屋さんを聞いたがあまり近辺の方と接触がないのか的確な情報が貰えなかった。

金目祭り最高！

別館で元々客室数が少ないところにお盆休み明けで
静かでゆっくり出来ました。
浴場は小さいのですがコロナ対策で先着順で貸切で入れます。料理は量より質で地元の魚料理満載でした。

広々とした部屋に、充実したアメニティ(特に女性はありがたいと思います！)
レンタル浴衣もとても可愛く、柄や帯、下駄を選ぶことができました。ホテル前から海が見え、別館(？)のお風呂からも海が見えて最高でした！

wi-fi完備とかいてあったが、使い物になりませんでした。子連れだったのでユーチューブやゲームをやるのに良いと思っていたのに結局自分の通信料をつかいました。部屋の冷蔵庫も全く冷える事なくただの箱でした。
スタッフの方々の対応は素晴らしかったです。

娘の地域イベント参加の為の宿泊だったので…チェックインも遅くなり、
朝も早目のチェックアウトだったのであまりゆっくり過ごす時間がなかったのですが…
19:00頃の到着でも車までお出迎えに荷物まで運んで頂き…
お部屋もとても清潔で快適に休めましたし…
何より.朝食がとても豪華で大変美味しく頂きましたました。
早目のチェックアウトに合わせて、
朝食の時間も少し早目に対応して頂き…なんのストレスもなく過ごせました。

悪くないが良くもない旅館

料理（夕食、朝食）は美味しかったが、至る所が惜しい感じだった。思っていたよりも部屋が狭かった(25m2程度か)。スタッフはフレンドリーだが、サービス水準は高くなかった（案内がアルバイト風で教育が行き届いていない、大半が外国人であり日本語がうまくない）。大浴場はあるが、露天風呂はなく、あまり広くないので、近くの系列の旅館へ入りに行った方が良い。残念ながら、リピートはないと思う。

初めて伊豆旅行に行きました。
ヒリゾ浜からは1時間半ほど車で移動したところにホテルはあります。
近くにはセブンイレブン、イオン、マクドナルドがあり、海が目の前です。
窓も広く景色は綺麗でした。
夕食はいただかなかったのですが、アフタヌーンティーのパンケーキサービスやドリンクサービス、朝食は美味しく満足しました。
部屋には源泉掛け流しのつぼ湯があり、好きな時に温泉に入れることが良かったです。
そのほかにもプール、大浴場などもよく、総合的に良かったです。

清潔なホテル

自分で行った初旅行なので、他との比較はできませんが参考になれば幸いです。
二人での伊豆旅行なので、露天風呂付きのツインルームにしました。一面の海がベランダから見えます。露天風呂に浸かりながらだと、直接海は見えませんが波の音を楽しみながら入浴できます。
引き戸で構成されています。
畳敷きの部屋で香りが心地よく、ベッドも広くゆったりできました。
照明も柔らかい暖色で落ち着きます。

大浴場は2つありますが、洞窟風呂の有無などがあるようです。脱衣場は

食事は和食と中華があるようで、私たちは和食でした。夕食朝食ともに、味も量もしっかりあって楽しめました。夕飯に金目鯛の煮付けが出ましたが、とても大きくて二人では食べきれませんでした。甘みを抑えていて上品な味付けでよろしかったです。
朝6:30までだと、金目鯛の味噌汁が飲めるようです。

遊技場もありますが、メインは卓球です。あとは景品を当てるタイプのゲームで、アーケードタイプのゲームが一台ありました。

売店はソフトドリンクは15種類ほどでした。特に目新しい土産はなかったように思います。

移動はエレベーターが基本となります。階段も使えますが少々急に感じました。健康的な大人や子供なら問題はありませんが、お年を召しているとつらいと思われます。障害を持った方も同様です。部屋は靴を脱いでドアも内に開けるので、支える必要があります。

全体として気兼ねなく利用できる、という印象を持ちました。料理も楽しめ、景色も楽しめ、風呂も楽しめ、と大変満足です。
