Nice room on quiet side just a shame some idiot guests don’t know how to close the room doors quietly ! Pool was ok but very slippy tiles around the area be very careful witnessed several people fall over . Reception staff lovely , great lobby with a few freebie biscuits & ice cream . Excellent position for bars etc Smart TV , safe and 4 bottles of water each day .

Room was not sound proof at all. Unfortunately had a room positioned near a lift and was woken early every morning with loud noise. Also could just hear everyone having conversations. The aircon also made loud banging noises from 4am onwards. We asked the staff to fix this after the first night but we didn’t hear anything from the staff as to whether it was fixed and it happened again the second night. I messaged the hotel for a late check out in advance but was told I have to ask on the day of arrival which then it was not possible and our flight on checkout day was at 8pm. They said we can shower at the pool however we did not want to do this in front of everyone and get changed in a toilet. It would be good to accommodate requests in advance like this.

My husband and I loved our stay at Casa Vimaya Riverside, Bangkok. We arrived to the hotel, exhausted, at 10:30 am from an overnight flight from Canada and we were delighted that they had a room available for us right away. The location was perfect for getting around and there were many options for dining close by. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed the canal side dining room. For an added touch ice cream was available to us at anytime of the day. The staff were beyond accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is stylish, our riverside room was lovely but our sons’ room looked straight to a concrete wall, the room was still nice, just not light. But overall we loved the hotel.
A short walk to the hop on hop off tourist boat and not far from Khoa San road. Easy to get around but far enough to be quiet.
The breakfast area was lovely, right by the canal with options to sit inside with A/C. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Vimaya the location was amazing, so easy to get around walking or grabbing a Grab (taxi very cheap through the app). We had easy access to all our tours from the very centrally located hotel. The rooms were beautiful, great bathroom facilities, great shower. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure our first stay in Bangkok was enjoyable and safe. I will definitely stay here again in the future, see you soon 😊

Unique to this property is its closeness to the river. The dining hall offered a great view of it and its inhabitants. Breakfast included a mixture of Western and Asian options. The property was clean and welcoming. However, the bed was not as comfortable with a mattress that was too firm and made for sleepless nights.

This is a lovely hotel with many beautiful details (old photographs and prints), tasteful decor touches. Probably the nicest hotel in this area. The staff are also very helpful. Nice breakfast selection. The rooftop pool is a bit small, but the views are great.

We chose this hotel as it was with walking distance of Khao San Road (but not too close!) which is well worth a visit, along with another very quaint road that runs parallel to it that has a few very nice restaurants. Offers breakfast and the dining room is alongside one of the small canals.

Charming Hotel in the middle of it all.

Took a trip to Bangkok for their Songkran festival. Wanted to be close to the action while still being away from it. This hotel satisfied that need. Blocks away from Thanon Ram Buttri and all of its delicious restaurants, food carts and bars. Also within walking distance of multiple temples. Super affordable, friendly staff, clean throughout, great breakfast buffet and an amazing rooftop pool and bar. Will be booking here again for next years return trip.

The property is in a magic location but a few things really let the place down.
Beds were rock hard, staff were attentive when needed but were on their phones most of the time. Food was average and it seemed most guests ate offsite.
There was also an obvious sewerage smell in the bathroom/toilet, the bathroom was clean so I’m guessing it was something to do with the drains/pipes.
It’s a real shame because this property could be so much more with some attention to these things.
In saying this we did enjoy our holiday here but we are not sure if we would stay here again.

Spent one night there after the earthquake on 28th March 25. Staff were wonderful as I was feeling pretty shaken by the whole experience.
The place is lovely and clean and it had sustained no damage from the earthquake (whereas my condo was totally destroyed). Very grateful to have found this place and felt safe after such an ordeal.
I don’t know much about the area as I live in a different part is town but the hotel itself is lovely.

This property was in a great location once you got there from the airport. We arrived early and were able to get into our room which was so appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Prices for mini bar and pool bar were very good. The only complaint would be how few chairs are at the pool. After a long day out a swim and some time at the pool was great but the seats were always taken. Small issue for an otherwise great stay. Thank you!

The property was conveniently located. Most attractions within a 30 minute walk and lots of restaurants nearby.
There is no food available at the hotel other than a buffet breakfast that is expensive.
The \"river\" is really a canal.
There was a loud strange noise in the middle of the night and again early morning coming from the floor above us where the pool is. Sounded like the pool was being drained or cleaned. Only happened 1 night but prevented me from sleeping soundly.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.The room was efficient although a little small. The balcony was really just sliding doors onto a ledge with a railing. Could stand but not sit.
Overall, I would reccommend tjus hotel for it's location, price and staff, but wanted you to also be aware of some of the negatives.

Very good hotel in a perfect section of the city for tourist. Our BIG complaint was only about the 3rd person had a $$60 per night up charge which would be acceptable except for the $60 you get a roll away cement salad from a bed. Without question the hardest 2 nights sleep and being no

Unfortunately I woke up with a bed bug or tick, not sure, attached to my leg with a bite. Disappointing considering the price for Bangkok, it wasn't a cheap option by any means. Und unlike most hotels in Thailand, they had a water refill station so you didn't have to buy bottles/produce so much rubbish.

I only had one night in Bangkok but this property was a great pick! Very close walk or ride to the reclining Buddha and palace, the property also has a very relaxing patio out back with seats overlooking the river. The staff was wonderful, room clean and very well decorated.

The hotel was nice and clean. Modern amenities and near to all the tourist attractions. Hotel is located near the old downtown, close to the tourist sites, but not as nice an area as the more modern Bangkok neighborhoods. Still, the area is very safe. This was one of our favorite places to stay in Thailand! The room was very comfortable and the little balcony overlooking the canal was perfect to watch the fish and monitor lizards. The breakfast was the best we have had! The area was ideal for accessing different parts of the city. We walked and also took grabs. The rooftop pool was also our favorite pool in Thailand. It had a good view, was a large size for swimming and was not crowded. We will definitely be back!

Nice place in chiang mai. Nice bed, good bathtub. It was a welcome stay after completling the Mae Hong Son loop to be able to relax here and be able to walk into the old city. The staff is also all great. Very helpful and nice and respectful. They walked me to a place to get a proper thai massage which was a great value add to my day.
