The friendliest little hostel. Great location!

Not so easy to locate for the first time, but once there, zero regrets with the booking. This was probably the hostel with the most homely feel during my stay in Thailand. It just felt like everyone (staff and hostelmates) were like family. It's a cosy hostel with really cute decor in the common areas. The staff organised awesome social events like cookery classes, trips to watch the boxing and evening trips to Chinatown.
I was there during Songkran and it was all just such a great laugh with everybody! Very happy memories to keep with me.

Location is terrific. So close to Khao San Road yet not particularly noisy! The Airport bus takes you to a stop approx 60 secs from the hostel.
Pro tip: There's a convenient AIS shop just around the corner so you don't need to get ripped off buying a tourist SIM from the airport vendors.

I stayed in the city walls dorm and noticed a lack of daylight. The \"train\" dorm looks better in the photos!

Just watch those steps going up to the dorms! Grab on to the rails and don't rush! I kept tripping up on that same uneven one every... single.... time!

Suneta is a very good hostel, large varied breakfast choices, snacks, very comfortable beds, strong ac. The area outside is Khaosan, enough said. Dirty and noisy. Great access to the river ferries though, just a short walk.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hostel is in a great location and the staff were really lovely. Would advise not to book the private bunk bed room as it is just off the main kitchen/social area so can be loud throughout the night. We would stay again in a different room :)

Close to the craziness of Khao San, but quiet! :)

I've stayed at a ton of different hostels around Bangkok over the years, but Suneta has quickly become my favorite! It's two sois away from Khao San, one of them being Rambuttri, but it's very quiet at night and I got some very pleasant sleep here.

I had a cabin room, and it does get a little warm in there so I kept the door open halfway at night which helped a bit. I think next time I will go for the curtain bed because of this, but it really wasn't much of an issue! The cabin beds have TV inside, and I'm not sure if it was just mine or all of them – but mine had no English channels, only Thai. But I didn't mind as I hadn't come there to watch TV. :) The air conditioning is on all day and the room itself is nice and cold. Be advised that in the cabin room (not sure about the other rooms), there aren't any lockers. This wasn't an issue for me as I just had a small backpack which I kept inside my cabin, but they do have luggage storage in the lobby.

One of my favorite parts is that have four absolutely adorable cats! They hang out in the lobby. Just watch that you don't leave any little things around, as they'll surely find it to be a toy! :) Free breakfast was simple (toast with butter and jam with juice) and they also have a paid option for 69THB which includes sausages and eggs. Bathrooms were NEVER crowded – toilets and showers were abundant and always clean.

Staff were so sweet. It was so nice talking with them in the morning and evening!

What a way to start a trip!

Absolutely amazing, had so much privacy in the cabin dorm when closed up yet it was really easy to meet people and chat in the lobby. First time solo traveller here, and this place definitely helped me get off on the right food. Would go back and would recommend.

I stayed in the 16 bed mixed dorm. Each bed has a curtain that wraps around your bed, giving you privacy. The room has cold AC which is a must. Shared bathrooms but very clean. Not sure if it has hot water, bc it was too hot outside so I only took cold showers. The reception was extremely helpful and very friendly. Definitely recommend. Great location!

Clean hostel near Khao San Road

Suneta was my first experience in a hostel and it was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They gave me advice about what to do and helped me book a bus to Sukhothai. You are given a free towel when you check in. The room was clean and well thought out. There was lots of room to put everyone's backpacks, and we all had small lockers to put valuables in. Each bunk has its own shelf, a light, electric outlet, and a rack to dry your towel on. The bathrooms were clean, and there were seperate stalls for men and women. The location was right near Khao San Road, and taxis and tuk tuks were plentiful. Overall this was a great experience, the best hostel I've stayed in yet!

Can't Imagine a Better Hostel in Bangkok

Suneta Hostel is a great place to stay in Bangkok. It is walking distance to most of the major tourist sites (Grand Palace, Wat Saket, etc.). It's near Khao San Road but far enough away that you're not actually staying in all of the chaos. (The proximity to Khao San makes it virtually impossible to get terribly lost in the city, as any taxi/tuk-tuk knows right where to take you).

The hostel was clean and secure. And you can even book awesome day-trips at the front desk. Overall, the hostel is an incredible value.

The staff was a bit hit-and-miss. A few of them were friendly and pleasant, a few indifferent, and one was downright rude (actually rolled their eyes and pointed to the paper in front of them when I asked what was apparently a stupid question). So it's a bit annoying to not know what you're going to get each time you approach the desk, but I'm sure most guests will come and go with absolutely no problems.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Suneta and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Bangkok!

Best Hostel I ever stayed at!

This place really is perfect for a hostel. It's just a couple streets away from Khoa San Rd, the guy at reception was super nice, you can buy beers for 35 baht, and everything is clean and quiet, what more could you ask for for such a cheap place!

Way beyond what was expected

For a hostel, I was extremely happy. The hostel is just 2 blocks from all the action. Staff was very helpful with info on what to do and how to do it. Each bed in the dorm has its own door to keep some privacy, which can also be locked when you are away. The shared bathroom and shower are limited but serve their function. For the price they charge, I am more than happy to stay there again.

Simple, clean, and friendly

Booked a capsule, it's what you'd expect... a capsule. The free breakfast is just cereal with milk, toast with jam, and fruit juice. There's nothing fancy here, but the staff are friendly, they keep the place very clean, and the decor creates a welcoming feeling. Overall, very impressed.

Perfect backpacker location

Brilliant place to stay; lovely staff, everything is clean and tidy, the laundry service and breakfast were excellent. Good quiet location where you can't hear the outside noise at all. In terms of a backpacker location it is perfect, the dorm I stayed in was very social and I got to know everyone, we ended up going out for a meal and drinks together and it was lovely. 5stars for Suneta!

Great location

I really enjoyed my stay at Suneta and met some great people. The rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms, the staff were friendly and helpful and the lsundry service was good. The hostel has 2 Guinea Pigs and a Cat whic are all adorable. The hostle is in a good locstion with a shirt walk to the hustle and budtle of khao san road. Be careful of the lift doors; thry shut quickly! I would definitely stsy at this hkstel again and would recommend it to others.

The staff are very helpful and their english is excellent. The price is reasonable. Breakfast involves toast and juice, but paying 8 pound a night is a good deal. Next to many tourist attractions.

スタッフさんがとても親切なのと、宿泊している方たちも気さくに話かけてくださるのでとても良かったです！
お部屋も清潔感があり全ての面で居心地が良かったです！
カオサン通りやコンビニも近いため、夜まで楽しんでからホテルに戻ることができます。
英語を上手く話せなくてもスタッフさんがゆっくり分かりやすく説明してくれるのでおすすめです！

2인 벙크베드 침실 이용했어요 방콕 도착하는 날 체크인 마감 시간 이후에 도착했는데 미리 말씀드렸더니 준비를 잘 해주셔서 아주 편안하게 들어가서 쉴 수 있었어요 위치가 아주 훌륭했고 유럽인들이 많아서 배낭여행 감성도 느낄 수 있으면서 조용하고 편안하고 쾌적한편이였어요 직원들도 친절해서 재방문 의사 있어요

Recomendo esse hotel em Bangkok. Muito limpo, organizado, silencioso e equipe muito presente e prestativa. O café da manhã é muito bom com seus ovos feitos na hora e da forma que melhor preferir. Os quartos são muito organizados, ar condicionado na medida exata e os banheiros muito limpos.

Recommend this hotel in Bangkok. Very clean, organized, quiet and very present and helpful staff. The breakfast is very good with your eggs made on time and the way you prefer. The rooms are very organized, air conditioned to the exact extent and bathrooms very clean.

電気を消すとさわさわと、わたしの首もとになにがはってきて、電気をつけると枕のしたに虫が隠れました。清潔と口コミに書いてあったのでがっかりしました。キャビンを利用したからかもしれません。シャワーはお湯が出るしドミトリーとして問題ないのですがドミトリーのわりに高いところにしたのにゴキブリや南京虫はちょっと厳しかったです。ふつうのドミトリーに宿泊してる人はそんなこと言ってませんでした。

ドミトリー4人部屋にしましたが3泊で自分1人だけでした。
朝食やコーヒーやお菓子がただなのがありがたかったです。
トイレやシャワーも毎日掃除されていて清潔でした。

깨끗하고 좋았음. 다만 내가 이용할때는 샤워장 2개 중 1개는 온수가 고장이었음. 두번째날 아침에 숙박한 층 전체가 잠깐 정전이 됨. 에어콘 리모컨이 방 안에 있어서 자유롭게 조절할 수 있어 좋았음.

カオサンのゲストハウスとしては最高に綺麗だと思います。とても快適でした。
スタッフもとても親切です。
ただ、値段が少し高めなので2～3泊ならOKですが、それ以上長居する人には辛いところでしょう。

位置考山路, 背包客必住

好地點, 樓下有夜市, 一定有野食, 近7-11, 可步行10分鐘去大王宮, 亦可以去搭船。
附近亦有很多旅行社去外遊, 巴士去泰國其他地方, 亦有車去新舊機場, 十分方便。

정말 친절하시고, 도움을 많이 주셔서 감동 받았습니다.

수네타 호스텔에서 머무르는 동안, 저녁에 안 좋은 사건을 당했었습니다. 울면서 호스텔로 돌아온 저를 나이트 스태프인 Nueng이 저의 이야기를 듣고 제가 진정할 때 까지 다독여주었습니다. 혼자 여행 와서 발생한 일이라 어찌할 바를 모르고 있었던 제게 대처 방법을 알려주었고, 호스텔 업무가 있음에도 불구하고 저를 위해 경찰서에 함께 가 새벽내내 태국어로 경찰분들에게 통역을 해주었습니다. 그리고 다음 날에도 대사관에 갈 수 있도록 호스텔 주인분과 한국어가 가능하신 직원분이 차로 직접 데려다주셨습니다. 수네타 호스텔 직원분들은 친절을 넘어서 정말 은인같은 분들입니다. 위로만 해주셨어도 충분히 감사했을 상황에서 저를 이렇게 적극적으로 도와주신 수네타 호스텔 직원분들에게 다시 한 번 감사드립니다. 정말 친절하고 따뜻한 마음씨의 직원 분들과 카오산 로드와 가까운 위치, 아늑한 시설까지.....다시 방콕에 방문하더라도 수네타 호스텔에 머물고 싶습니다.

コスパ良し！値段より綺麗さとお得さを求めるなら最高

無料のコーヒー紅茶飲み放題、クッキー食べ放題！シャワールームが独立しているので深夜に帰っても気兼ねなくシャワーやドライヤーを使える。
ベットの作りがしっかりしているので、揺れないし音も少ない。ロッカーがベット下じゃなく階段部分なので、出し入れが楽。
シャワールームが男女別。更にフリーアメニティもあり、結構ちゃんとした物が置いてある。フロントにもある為チェックアウト後も使わせてくれるのかな？
朝食の時間が長く11時まで可能。フルーツ、目玉焼き、ナゲット、ウィンナー、パン、ジャム食べ放題。
朝から夕方までホテル前に市場があり、夜になると何も無くなるので印象がガラリと変わる。
そのせいでちょっと迷った。でもとても便利。
シャワー2機の内、1機は温水が出なかったので残念。

가이드북에도 소개된 유명한 호스텔입니다.
서비스도 좋고, 스텝도 친절합니다.

그리고 객실 내부도 연구를 많이 한 흔적이 보입니다. 침대에 선반도 있고, 화장실도 보면 게스트를 위해 노력한 흔적, 인테리어도 호스텔에 최적화되어 있습니다. 조식도 참 맛있고, 프린트도 무료로 가능합니다. 정말 좋은 호스텔이나, 공용 common area는 다소 비좁고, 또한 최악으로 피빨아먹는 배드버그가 제 침대에서 나왔습니다. 이것때문에 정말 고생했네요.. 그리고 가격대비 따지면, 방콕에서 더 괜찮은 호스텔도 많은 것 같아요. 팟퐁지역에 everyday bangkok 추천합니다. 괜찮지만, 제게는 최악으로 기억될 호스텔이었네요...

個室型のドミトリーに滞在しました。ウッド感が漂っていてオシャレでした。個室のドアに鍵をかけられるのでプライバシーも守られますし、外出の時も安心です。とても快適でした～

カオサンロードへ徒歩数分！

独りバックパックの旅で、利用しました。場所はバックパッカーの聖地カオサンロードから３本通りを北に進んだところ。カオサン自体は深夜まで店やバーが開いているのでクラブミュージックなどの音が気になる方は、少し離れた場所がお勧めです。ロケーションもばっちりで、ツアーにも参加しやすく、思わず5泊してしまいました！
スタッフの方も親切に対応して頂き、また施設もＷＩＦＩ・エアコン・シャワーなど最低限の設備は整ってますし、なんにせよ値段の割に綺麗でおしゃれです。欧米の方が多いので、最初は委縮する方も多いかもしれませんが、情報交換含めてたくさん交流しましょう。

수네타 호스텔 후기

카오산과 람부뜨리에서 적당히 먼 거리라서 저녁에 조용하긴 한데요. 아침에는 옆에 절인지 뭔지에서 트는 노래 때문에 엄청 시끄러워서 그거로 알람 듣고 일어나면 될듯..
캐빈형 도미토리가 개인적으로 안맞았어요. 차라리 2층 침대가 편한거 같아요. 제가 쓴 캐빈만 그런진 모르겠지만 안에 옷을 걸 수 있는 데가 없어서 장기간 숙박하는 사람들은 불편할거 같더라구요. 아, 그리고 욕실에 따뜻한 물 잘 안나와요.

Suneta Hostel 就位在考山路旁但剛好旅社所處的那條街晚上並沒有夜市因此很安靜飯店人員非常友善還竟也很乾淨很創新的類膠囊設計真的很獨特的住宿體驗這家旅店讓人感覺非常溫馨室友們會載客廳交流彈吉他唱歌就像一家人一樣讓我很難忘的旅店

Good hostel. Close to khao san road.

Good hostel. Close to khao san road on a calm road. Best hostel i been to in bangkok. The beds are hard but i like it that way so Wasnt a problem for me. Good safety and decent But simple breakfast.
