Rent och snyggt rum med allt man kan önska sig. Trevlig pool på taket med gott om platser.
Hiss finns.
Finns mycket frukost ställen runt omkring.
Om man väljer att bo mitt på Khaosan Road så kommer man höra ljudet från nattklubbarna inget som störde ljust mig! Men kanska andra?

The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, we didn’t have consistent hot water. We mentioned this a couple of times and it worked for one morning, but then stopped again. But we're only giving the hotel three stars due to the noise at night. Even though the hotel provided ear plugs, it was still extremely loud from the street bars and didn’t quieten down until after 5am. We stayed for three nights and didn’t get much sleep.

Well, let me start by saying how horrible the staff was in this hotel did not speak. English could not help you do not book hotel I have to tell you my experience with this hotel. I booked it for nine days. Had to leave after four days due to sore backing up in the shower smell so bad I could not stay in the room then my air conditioner brakes on top of it and they refused to give me a new room they told me they can’t help me so I booked the hotel next-doorbeautiful hotel. I should’ve booked this from the gecko. The hotel name is. Dang Derm Khaosan what a nice hotel after all this they refuse to give me refundthe days that I already booked that I checked out early and had to book the hotel next door

If you’re looking fir ez access to shopping, transpo, nightlife . This hotel is it. However, being that Im older now abd w a different mind frame, I chose a room in the back of hotel as it can be VERY LOUD w nightlife at NIGHT. They also have their own security in front so that people do not stray onto the property. That was a plus.

The bad. Very loud from the bars outside. Hard to sleep. Our room did not have hot water to the shower. Only the sink. The shower was plugged. And the floor would fill with water. The staff was not really friendly. Though the doorman was great.
The good. Right in the middle of the market. Transportation is very accessible. Food is everywhere. As well as souvenirs and entertainment. Walking distance to the Grand Palace.

Get what you pay for

The hotel is right on Khaosan road so very busy and noisy but to be expected. View from the rooftop is good but the roof and pool closes at 9pm. The beds are uncomfortable and the hotel is run down. The room does not come with a closet to hang clothes and only one large (dirty and overused) towel per person, no hand or face towels. The toilets don’t flush very well either.

Used to be great, now not so much

Been staying here for a few years now, and used to give the place 4-5 stars, but recently it seems they haven’t scaled up well - internet barely works, hot water supply is very low pressure, and breakfast buffet, which used to be a bargain, has been priced up beyond reason. A shame, hope things improve soon, otherwise I might have to find a new favourite hotel.

Nice clean hotel, rooms are basic but comfortable. Located on Khao San road so if you choose to stay here expect loud crowds outside your front door! We could not hear any noise from the room we were in but I would imagine this is not the case in rooms all over the hotel!

Roaches check in and don’t check out.

If you don’t mind cockroaches in your room litter around the pool area and no towels available as well. You might like it. Front desk seems to all hate tourist and the jobs they have dealing with them at the desk. Palace my butt more like roach motel.

The location was right in the middle of all the action. It was busy by night and allowed us to fully experience everything that Bangkok has to offer. Would come back again!

May not be good for families with young children, as there are usually parties that are quite loud that go on till later on in the night.

Right in the heart of Bangkok, easy to walk to Grand palace and to ferry boats to get to mall and Jim Thompson house. Tours can be booked near hotel lobby, girl who is tour agent very friendly and helpful. Staff got me water whenever I needed it. Pickup for trabsfers right from hotel for mini buses. It was a bit noisy at night but its to be expected. They put me in a quieter room at back. Pool was very nice and clean, also had a bar at pool which is nice.

Well, we knew it was going to be loud but we didn't expect cockroaches in our bathroom the first night. When we reported it to reception they sprayed something that smelled really strong for quite some time. It seemed to resolve the problem but the damage to our confidence in the cleanlyness of the hotel was done. Breakfast was better than expected though and the rooftop pool was amazing.
All in all it was a \"so-so\" experience.
we probably would choose a hotel a bit farther away from Khao San Road on our next visit. Everything is really close and you can walk everywhere.

Best spot in khaosan road, beautiful rooms

Comfortable, semi-luxurious (if you can ignore the slightly aged facilities, which isn't that hard), the rooftop swimming pool with the spectacular city view is the perfect final touch. It's right above Khaosan road's main all-night party spots, but with the window closed and aircon on, one can actually get a decent sleep. The breakfast buffet is excellent value too.

Morocco room is much smaller than advertised and expected, no closet, safe not secured to anything, a bit disappointing overall.
Overpriced for that room, very noisy, uncomfortable bed, aircon didn't get cold.

Rude reception staff. Advertised \"Room with a view\" turned out to be a room with a window looking directly at a wall four feet away, On complaining to reception about the lack of view the reply was \"what did you expect? a mountain view\"
It is a noisy area, that is to be expected but there were a lot of noisy residents at all hours within the hotel corridors.
Ebookers still have not responded to my my complaint directly to them.
Would not stay here again or recommend to others

This hotel was so loud at night it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Our room felt like it was on top of a rave and there was very little space for our belongings. Poor lighting topped it off. Unless you are here to party, do not stay.

Nothing wrong with this place if you plan to stay on Khaosan Road. Of course you will hear the party, even with a room on the quiet side. We liked being right in the middle of things and enjoyed the pool and rooftop bar as well. The 1000 tbh deposit is annoying but understandable. Was our last day in Thailand and had to spend it after checking out and on our way to thei airport to avoid having to change currency both directions. Staff was okay, but welcome was not always the warmest. I expect it’s because they spend a lot of time dealing with drunk people ;)

The entire purpose of our one night stay was to experience Khaosan Street. We could not have chosen a better hotel for the experience, and the free breakfast put the stay over the top. We could not see the street from our room but the entire hotel was clean and well kept. I would defiantly stay there again.

Bad experience in Khao San

The staffs at the hotel were rude and not friendly at all. The location is in the center of Khao San Road so it might be a good location to some BUT, the party music is too noisy for me when I want to have a good rest. Really a terrible experience so far due to the noise and bad attitude from the staffs.

Centrally located on Khao San Road so it is quite loud at night. Music in the streets turned off at midnight during the week and goes until 2:30 or so on the weekend. If you need qiet I suggest you call the hotel and confirm a room in the back. Rooms are nice, bathroom is very small but clean.Beds are typical Thai style mattresses, on the firm side. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Pool on the rooftop is smaller and not for children, as it is one depth. Rooftop snack bar and bar was good. A lot of additional seating/lounging can be found if the pool loungers are full. Only downside was our room and bedding smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Should have asked for non-smoking room.

Hotel staff behavior aas pathetic. They don't know how to speak with people. We reached hotel at 7.am and they were saying you cannot checked in because the rooms were not clean and once we requested for early check in they said, \"you can clean your room by yourself\". People are not at all friendly and locality was also so bad. Never recommend this hotel to anyone.

the hotel, in general, was ok, what you can expect from a hotel in that area, but the cleanliness was way below what anybody could expect. The first night I discover my a used band-aid inside my bed from previous guests, so I guess they don't change the sheets really often, I didn't get a change of sheets later so I had to sleep on top of the comforter for 3 nights disgusting

Khaosan palace hotel would be the worst place in Bangkok especially at night. It's located on Khaosan road. This street turns into a crazy loud club at night till 3am. You will hear super loud music and people's scream in your room as if you are standing in the middle of a club. I booked 3 nights but right after the first night, I had to cancel the rest two night even though I had to give up the fee that I'd paid for the room. I couldn't bear the craziness of the night. Moreover, the room was very small that I barely had a space to store my luggages.
The hotel or travelicity.com should put a warnning message on the online hotel introduction page about the street's information.
If you want to have a crazy nightout right infront of your hotel, this is the place you should book.

Noisy - everyone should be prepared anywhere in this area, bring earplugs! Very friendly staff, nice rooftop pool with bar, set off the street by long walkway/entrance. Clean and great location fir homebsse while doing last min things in Bangkok. Easy 15 min walk to grand palace.

Nice room however booked for non-smoking, when entered the room it smelt of stale cigarettes. When asked reception about a non-smoking room I was informed \"they are all smoking\". The room smelt strongly of cigarettes the entire 4 days even with windows left open. Good location right in the middle of Khao San road however very noisy at night until the clubs close at approx 2am or so. Pool area was ok not quite as I expected from the photos.
Would not stay again due to smoke smell in room.

Awful noise until 2 am every night. We asked to change rooms but nothing available. If we had known it was so loud, definitely would've stayed elsewhere. Also if we hadn’t prepaid, would’ve gone elsewhere. Couldn’t wait to leave and get decent night sleep.

The hotel was the perfect location for those who are looking for nightlife in Bangkok, right in front of all the bars and restaurants and the markets. Our room was spacious and clean with all the facilities. However it being on Khaosan Road made it noisy during the night because of the bars but we slept through it ok.

This was the first hotel we stopped in when we arrived to Bangkok and it was lovely! It was perfect for what we needed. The only thing I would comment on was the storage room we kept our bags in on the last day was always left open both times we went into it, which we didn’t feel very comfortable with.
