Location is the reason to stay here for sure. The property is dated and was not up to cleanliness standards (cobwebs within easy reach, crumbs and dirt on the floors, etc). The bathroom floods with each shower due to improper draining and no hand towels were available, so we had to use bath towels for hand drying. Room service was convenient and the rooftop pool and bar were a fun addition.

The staff were lovely and rooms were quiet, we slept very well. We loved the rooftop pool, especially at night time. We stayed as a family with an 11 and 14 year old, Khaosan road was definitely an experience they won't forget, 'backpacker road' means something different to when I went backpacking 20 odd years ago but it was all part of the fun. We liked being able to walk easily from the hotel to sights like the palace and Wat Pho.

We wanted an exciting stay with a little Thai craziness and we got it. Some of the street vendors were a little pushy at times but, always polite and fun to banter with. The atmosphere is all about the street market shopping, the wild Thai nightlife and fun you might want. We visited with two teenagers who had a blast with the night life vendors, trying freshly bbq’d crocodile, eating scorpions and enjoying amazing fresh fruit and traditional Thai food. We went to bed each night around 11, and I got the impression that the later we were out, the wilder the party got. Still lots of music at 4 in the morning. If you don’t like noise request a room away from the street. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not for you, but if you want a clean stay with AMAZING water pressure in the showers … this hotel is for you.

If you're staying on this street you should already know there's going to be partying and loudness until late hours. Even with all the noise, the room is fairly quiet. I did not have any problems sleeping. Overall the property and room are clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and friendly. The first night I got in late and just needed something to eat so I ordered room service. The food can be a lot better.

In the middle of Khosan Rd. I was a bit worried when we arrived at night as we had to walk through the crazy atmosphere of Khosan Rd with all our luggage. Thankfully the hotel is like a little haven set back in it's own little world. We couldn't hear the party going on a few yards away as we dropped out bags off in our room.
All in all the hotel is excellent for what we paid and is, a great location to be in the heart of it all of that's where you want to be.

Hôtel correct pour passer 1 ou 2 nuits de passage.
L hôtel manque de rénovation et rafraîchissement.
La clim en revanche fonctionne bien.
La douche est mal située, il faut se coller au mur pour avoir le jet sur nous.
Malheureusement c’est un quartier tellement bruyant et l hôtel est mal ou peu isolé donc jusqu’à 3h du mat c’est impossible de dormir.
Le quartier est très fréquenté et la musique très forte.

We stayed in the middle of all the clubs! We didnt know, but no cars went thru the street and it was very crowded at night, so walking thru to get to the hotel, was a bit intimidating. It wasnt easy to find the hotels entrance since there are two places with the same name and one of them didnt have the whole name written (wich was ours, but didnt know) so we went to both. Once we found the right place, were pleased to find out that the music did not leak thru the walls in the hotel so you would never guess you were in the middle of a party street.

When I stayed here in 2018, the rooms where new and looked like the pictures. 6 years on, and they already look worse for wear. We checked into the first room and there was a cockroach running around, so they put us in a different room. Several days later, and we had another cockroach. I won't be staying here next time I visit Khaosan road. Also, the layout of the grand deluxe suite is very weird, with the sink being in the middle of the room facing the bed.
Oh and the final part, we asked for an extra towel, this took 3 hours to get to our room.

We stayed thinking the pictures were accurate and wanted a decent room but instead it was super dirty and not well maintained. The room has a smell of humidity and sweat. The air conditioning was coming out quite warm. They tried to move us but it was to a smaller and cheaper room so ultimato we left to a new hotel within 2 hours of arriving. Hoping Hotels refund this bad experience. Another guest was in the lobby trying to change her room since she saw bugs in her room.

This is on Khaosan Road, which is a semi-closed road in the part part of town. Do not stay here unless you plan to do a lot of drinking/drugs. Parties go as long as 2 to 3am which is annoying, but the hawkers on the street are far more exhausting. This hotel is down a little alleyway and there are people flogging drugs, suits, and laundry services EVERY SINGLE TIME they see you.

I loved this hotel stay so much!! It’s very accessible to Khaosan Road. It is as tucked away a tiny bit which allowed easy access but it also wasn’t too long with all the partying going on at night. We stayed for 3 night in this hotel that’s located on the very noisy Kahosan Road, but we have not hear anything at all during the night from our hotel room. Make sure you ask for a quiet room if you don’t want to hear the noise from outside or planning to wake up early the next day.
The hotel itself is pretty nice, lots of room so there’s a lot of people staying. We found it very comfortable even though the rooms are not very big.

Great experience at hotel. Rooms are smaller than the pictures but the stay was comfortable.
Only downside is that the hotel is located right on obscenely noisy khao San road. I’ve heard loud party streets before but this is another level.
Also, road is closed to traffic at night so late check ins are inconvenient.

This hotel is a step above a hostel but not by much. It does not look like its pictures. Also, it is located on Khao san, which is a party street packed in the evenings/nights with clubs, partying and vendors. If you're looking for this atmosphere. We were not and it can be overwhelming. They didn't service the room without specific requests at the front desk and there is not laundry service.

The reception staff were polite and helpful. The Hotel is in a central area within walking distance of the Grand Palace, there is a beautiful Buddhist temple nearby and there are lots of shops. The 82 bus is very cheap and will take you around the city and the S1 bus will take you to the airport.

The hotel is not even close to what it looks like in the photos you arrive and the front door has a big closed noted in it. Then once you dogged out that you have to enter from a side door in a market are you find the front desk. The staff was ok startingt to the point ask for 500 bat cash for the deposit. The rooms was very small old and all the walls was dirty not even close to the photos on bookings website. If you want to party then it’s great bang in the correct area.

Situated in the party street this hotel was a good one!! Its a bit hard to find at first since you first need to walk into a hall off the street an pass a few shops before you get to the hotel's reception ara. Once inside it seems like a hotel and as you go up floors the views can be great, as you get to see off into the city or Palace view.

Don't be put off by the street entrance. You have to walk through a small arcade to get to reception. The staff are very friendly and were always happy to help. Our room was lovely, very spacious, clean and tidy and with a view of the Grand palace. Khoasan road is very popular with backpackers, there are lots of bars, restaurants market stalls etc right on your door step so not really a family hotel although would probably be ok for teenagers. A good base for seeing the sites of Bangkok.

We stayed three days. After two hours the room had still not cooled down so I called for maintenance. We were getting ready for bed and he came in with ladder and after an hour said “we’ll just wait for 20 minutes and see. We were exhausted after a long flight just wanted sleep. It took 4 more hours The second day at 4:30 I came in and the room had not been refreshed so I called, the woman who came in Iwas mad and rude. She threw the towels down, I asked for her to Chang the sheet on the small bed as there was sand in it, she stripped off the sheet , shook it out on the floor and put the same sheet on. Don’t expect good service here

The room is smaller than what's in the photo. A challenge to open your luggage. Stayed in dang derm before and in comparison, the place is much bigger. Its near two pubs. For those who love clubbing, you will love this place. Else, it gets pretty crowded and a challenge to make your way back to the hotel. Also, d&d and dang derm in the park have merged together. The room is the same. Hence, does not justify to put for the higher price for dang derm in the park

Location was perfect for us to see the major sights in Bangkok. The picture on the website is from the rooftop pool which is open until midnight and we were blessed with the same view from our clean well appointed room. Rooms closer to the front of the hotel might be noisy due to proximity to Khao San Road but our family room was quiet with strong AC, comfortable beds, a sitting area, large walk in shower and great eastern/western buffet breakfast.

Location is good, not far from the Chao Praha riverboats and close to lots of restaurants. Khaosan road gets pretty crazy late night, but no problems if you keep an open mind. It's a fine, inexpensive place if you insist on being on Khao San road. Other than this specific reason, do yourself a favor, and go literally anywhere else in Bangkok where you'll get a LOT more for your $, and more importantly, a much more authentic experience. Khao San road is THE scum of Bangkok, and nothing like what Thailand truly has to offer.

Room with everything you need, good breakfast, cool rooftop pool. And you are just at the Khao-San road, close to the Royal Palace.

However, we did not have our room cleaned during a four-day stay (despite asking and being forced to use the room towels at the pool one day). The in-hotel money exchange was also not available (but there are quite a few of those in a 100m distance).

The staff refused to give a second access card and we have to spend a lot of time to reactivate the one we have. The issue with this policy is every night, we hear people knocking the door near by our room to get in their room. Every morning, we have to go to reception to get the tickets for breakfast, it's a huge waste of time. The rooms are not cleaned, even when they do, they just change the towels and make the bed

Photos of the Pool are definitely Not of this Hotel, someone has been dreaming.
Its called Dang Derm on the Park but the Only Park it overlooks is the huge Carpark at the rear.
There is No park in its location.
Its like a McDonalds Hamburger advert on the TV, When you see it for real, its nothing like the pictures.
Overall its OK but needs lots more clarity on its description. Dont go by the photos.
