O quarto em si não é ruim, a localização bem no centro de Khaosan porém não recomendaria para famílias com crianças porque dependendo do quarto que você pegar vai ter som de balada até as 4 da manhã. O quarto que eu peguei havia um vazamento do cano do vaso sanitário toda vez que nós ou que a pessoa de cima dava descarga. Do lado do chuveiro havia uma portinha que dava para a parte externa do ar condicionado e saída de emergência que poderia ser facilmente aberta por alguém de fora o que achei meio sinistro. O Check in é as 14:00 mas quando chegamos no hotel às 14:20 disseram que teria que esperar 15 min, ao demonstrar insatisfação arrumaram um quarto rapidinho. Eles cobram 500 baht de depósito em espécie que te devolvem na hora do check out. Havia frigobar mas não tinha como esquentar água para um chá/café ou macarrão instantâneo. O café da manhã é um prato feito que custa 199 baht na recepção ou 250 baht na hora. O custo benefício é ótimo para viajantes jovens pela localização e atividades noturnas. Tem massagens, restaurantes, lojas de conveniência, lavanderia e um mercado a menos de 200m de distância. Tem muitas lojas de souvenir também, mas da pra encontrar com preços melhores em chatuchak.

One of the worst accomodations I've ever booked. Huge bugs in the room, stains on towels/sheets/shower curtain, housekeeping didn't clean our room once during our 3 day stay, and the front desk was rude and pushy while up selling us on a quieter room that wasn't actually any quieter. We tried to change accomodations and they refused to or give any relief for the negative experience. Really awful all around

When I booked this hotel I was not informed that it was in the middle of a party area and heard music until about 3am. Because of the festival that was going on we ended up getting wet all weekend and could find almost no taxi drivers willing to drive us to this area. The staff was not very friendly and rarely had a response to any of our questions. We ended up not returning for the last night of our booking because of the overall experience we had and decided to head to the airport early instead.

I booked a room with a balcony because I did not want to stay in a room with no window. I payed 9000baht for this room for 2 nights.
Hotel is in the middle of kohsan road so I knew it wouldn't be quiet but what i didn't know shocked mè. I have photos to prove all of the above but I'm not given the opportunity to upload here.
Hotel will only change sheets and towels after 3 day's.
There was only 1 electric socket in the whole room which didn't even work correctly.
The shower floors floors after using the shower for 2 to 3 mins and takes hours to drain afterwards. The only way to stop it flooding bedroom floor is to use towels at the door.
Judging by shower door as the wood is rotted this has been the case for years.
I asked for fresh towels and was told only after 3rd.day.
The balcony is a small cage locked by a padlock and looking out over absolutely nothing only a rooftop.
The place stinks..average price of a good room in bangkok is 1000 baht per night.
So if you want to stay in a stinky wet room with 1 electric socket and pay 4 times more than average price in that area go for it.
Otherwise avoid it like the plague.
An absolute kip and I have been travelling to Thailand for 15 years so I do know what I'm talking about.
Worst i have ever seen.

The D&D is a party hotel for party people. It's a bit on the shabby side, but is still a good place to stay for the price. They have started providing earplugs to help people sleep. The pool is great.

Located directly on Khaosan Road so definitely a loud but extremely convenient location. We didn’t mind the loud music since we can sleep with the noise and they provide ear plugs (very thoughtful!). The rooms and hallways were definitely dated but you could tell they were great in their prime. Can’t really complain with the location and great price! Stay here if you’re looking for night life and convenience!

Great location on Khaosan Road! We were quite close to the main road but it still was not too loud for us (22 years old). The pool was really nice and a great rooftop area to relax and have a drink. There were some families around although I’m not sure if it would be the most relaxing location and stay for a family holiday. The breakfast was good with a wide range of choices

In short, stay elsewhere unless you either 1) dont plan on sleeping or 2) want competing pulsing club hits from nearny bars shaking your entire room as you try to sleep in a dingy 1980s motel room with poor air quality and uncharged devices bc only 2 outlets work

To start, upon check in we were placed in a room that appeared far different than the photos- a complete downgrade yet same price. We booked a windowless room so to avoid the noise of khaosan road. Room looked and felt antiquated, all the furnishings reflected this as well. Bed was stiff and uncomfortable. AC unit definitely needed a filter change as we were congested almost instants upon entering room and turning it on, which fits the trend of outdated furnishings. Only two of the four outlets in room worked. The nightly noise of khao san road was excruciating, from 9pm to 3 or 4am we could hear all the partying and club music. The walls were so thin and music so loud the we could actually feel the walls and bed pulse.

Wish we took photos to substantiate this review, however we were quite eager to leave as soon as possible. Do NOT recommend.

I had a standard room reservation. First I arrive to hotel, they ask me to upgrade the room with higher price. (10-15$ more) I did not. Standard rooms are noisy and smells bed. Mostly of the rooms has no window or very small window in bathroom. Good rooms cost 35-40$. For this price you can stay in better hotel than this hotel.

Nice hotel close to the action on Khao San Road. If you're planning on staying here make sure that you.know what you're getting yourself into. It is very loud and crazy on this street. Out room (a superior room) however was very quiet. We had no issue falling asleep with the music on the street still playing loudly.

Staying on Khao San road for 5 days was a mistake. It’s a fun place to party but a 2 day stay would have been enough. The hotel itself was nice enough but the noise coming from the street below was absolutely incredible. You can clearly hear the bass pumping until 3am in a room that has no windows. The staff knows this and put me in a room that had no windows to the outside to dampen the noise from below. Ask for a room as far from the front of the hotel as possible. As for cleanliness, the grout in the shower had mold in it that I washed away with hot water from the shower head. And sadly there were cockroaches in our room. All things considered it was a very mediocre stay. The one saving grace was the breakfast buffet they provide in the morning for 180 bhat($3 US dollars) that was really tasty. This review was for a standard room. If you’re considering staying here I would highly recommend upgrading to their “classic room” option. I got a sneak peak inside some of the classic rooms walking in and out of the hotel toward the end of my stay and wished I would have spent the extra money.

worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, reception lovely and pool. My room haven’t been cleaned in months, booked 2 night. Struggled with 1 night, as soon as we walked into the room, cockroaches everywhere. Especially baby ones. All under the bed, ceiling and one in the bed. The bed didn’t even feel clean. Left the next morning, with hardly any sleep. Found out we took a few cockroaches with us, who liked our suitcases. This hotel shouldn’t be advertised on hotel website. These company should be ashamed advertising this hotel.
Please don’t waste your money, staying here.

Great location if you like to party. They have an amazing rooftop bar with food and drinks and pool, which we really enjoyed. The drinks tasted great as well.

I gave the cleanliness a 3/5 because there was this sh*t-like smell in the lobby and a faint sh*t smell in my room. The smell in both the room and lobby wasn’t unbearable, but still noticeable that my boyfriend and I commented as soon as we walked into the hotel. Other than that, the cleanliness was fine.

The room we reserved was the perfect size for two people. Separate bathroom and the shower was separated from the toilet, unlike some places we stayed.

Service was amazing, all the staff were very kind upon arrival.

Be very aware that anywhere you stay on Khaosan road will have so many people on the streets annoyingly trying to get your to get a massage, buy suits, get a tuktuk, eat at their restaurant. By the second day we just had enough and had to be rude, unfortunately.

Conveniently, right downstairs to the right, there is a cheap restaurant where you can get food for 30-60 baht, which is amazing! lots of restaurants and bars on the street, especially at night with their little carts of food and clothing :)

This is why I gave a 3 overall. If it weren’t for that sh*t smell, I would’ve given a 4.

The reviews about this place are true. The place was very noisy even after I had paid for an upgrade to be located on a quieter room. I've stayed in two other hotels on Khaosan Road, Buddy Lodge and Khaosan Palace on NYE both were much quieter I was not bothered by the noise from the street.
The ladies who checked me in were pleasent but when i phoned from my room to ask them to fix the wifi (which is appauling) the first time they took the phone off the hook, the second time they let it ring and the 3rf time the wam barked at me, \"wait 5 minutes\" then hung up on me. The room wasn't very clean. The side table by the bed had crumbs on it. I also phoned reception in the morning asking to use an iron and ironing board, they don't have them. Overall if you're on the fence about this place do not book. I didn't get to see the pool which looks and sounds nice, if you don't mind noise, a scruffy place and are happy with the price you might like it.

Rooftop pool on Khao San Road

I stayed at this hotel five years ago when travelling Thailand with friends and had happy memories of us lying by the rooftop pool with Changs.
It has changed a little since my last visit and the pool felt larger but was still just as fun.
The hotel is in a great location (if you want fun) in the centre of Khao San Road but set back slightly with a quiet, clean, cool reception area. Our room was a little dark and could do with a refresh but we did get a quiet room on the back of the hotel.

Uh where to begin at this hotel. First of all I know this is in Khaosan road, I know that is a party street and everything there (first time I was on this road but another hotel maybe 40-50 m away). But for new year there was so loud and noisy I really couldn't sleep they were partying outside until 6 am. My room was facing the street at some point I was feeling vibrations under my feet. At reception they said party is over at 2 am. Other days was over around 3 am - 3:30 am.

Then receptionist didn't say we need to put a sign make my room, in every another hotel they said you need to put sign if you want to have this or it's just automatically.

There was no minibar too cool off drinks.

There was no drainage in the bathroom except in shower so if you didn't put shower curtain inside of shower area water was going into the bathroom and because of no drainage there was water in whole bathroom so at the end it was so much water in whole bathroom was already funny.

Our curtain was so dirty I don'k know if that was blood or poop but it looked ugly to look and it was bright color so sun was shining inside like we didn't have curtain.

I'm so upset. I became unwell. You really should reimburse me for telling me when I called I would have a quiet room. Now after 4 moves and 3200 bhatts extra I received a quiet room.

Your hotel is on a busy street I appreciate but why lie to me before I arrive for 3 weeks stay. That's not fair or very truthful.

It was really good to stay in this hotel, I was a bit scared before coming here, thinking that will be so noisy that I could not sleep but at least in my room you couldn't hear any noise from the street, only from the hall when people walk in front of it but nothing crazy.. The receptionists were really kind and helpful. The only bad thing I have to say is that the didn't clean my room in the three days I stayed, at some point I didn't have more toilet paper and shower gel and I have to use the same tower that three days.. But other than everything super good. I definitely recommend this hotel.

When booking this hotel I made a simple mistake and entered the wrong month for my stay.
Realising immediately what I'd done I asked for them to correct the info and they made me pay in full for the stay in the wrong month I couldn't get there for plus the stay that I then booked for the correct time. There was no reason for them not to simply change my booking for me.I wouldn't have rebooked it except I have friends who also have bookings here for our hol together.

Bit disappointing this time.

I stay here before few times but this time was disappointing. They don’t provide any toiletries now, even they mentioned online. When I asked they said you have to buy from 7-eleven. Room was bit smelly too. Wifi was too fluctuating, and most of time in room had no wifi, but in common area wifi was working fine.
Rooftop pool area is so good, and very nice views from top. Property location is good but noisy while sleeping.

Room was nothing like pictures, it was much older and in very poor condition. The air con was either freezing or none existent. Also had rats or something in the air con vents. Really not a nice place to take your family, especially when for a slightly larger spend you can stay somewhere nicer.

The location of the hotel is great but the housekeeping is terrible. I asked for water and was told by the receptionist that she will send it to my room which I never got. I called for extra pillow and was told that I have to ask it in the morning which doesn’t make sense since I need a pillow to sleep. The room aren’t of great standard. The checkin and checkout process was quick and simple though.

Near busy night life at Bangkok but room near to the road with loud sound of music. Room was old bed sheet and mattress was smell like body odour. Not it not changed after previous guest. Ask for room change need to pay extra 350 bath each room.

Location location location. If you are looking for a party right outside you hotel. This hotel is it. The rooms are nice, and clean. Staff is very nice. Safe is at the front desk, so that defeats the point to me. Great hotel

Worst hotel of my life

HORRIBLE a refund would be great. My hot water did not work so I could Not shower before my flight. They said my room was quiet I called Twice complaining . They wouldn’t even give me a free breakfast for the horrid experience

Good stay overall. Had a room at the back of the hotel so didn’t hear any noise. WiFi was a little intermittent at times. Great location if you are wanting to go out. Overall enjoyed stay.

Nice pool with good vibe. Great location.
Hard as rock bed. No tea/coffee making facilities. No safe. The bathroom was dirty, and the drain clogged after the first shower, resulting in the whole bathroom flooding. After inspection, I removed a huge clump of hair and moosh from the drain. Loud even away from the street, but manageable with ear plugs.

Great location !
A little oasis away from the bustle of a very busy street life which was great to see but also great to get away from.
Roof top pool a bonus but little shade and quite busy.
I would stay here again.
