I gave a rating of 3 to the staff due to the difficulty I had in retrieving a document I had forgotten in the room. I sent someone to the hotel twice, but only on the third attempt, after the person asked to speak with management, was the issue resolved. This caused a lot of embarrassment and was an uncomfortable situation.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience booking . I reserved a stay at the Hotel Manhattan by Mercury in Porto Alegre more than two months ago, specifically choosing it because of its pool, which was essential for my three young children to enjoy during a hot summer day.

However, upon arrival, I was informed that the pool was out of service due to maintenance. This critical information was never communicated in any of the eight emails I received before my trip. The lack of transparency is unacceptable and feels like a deliberate omission.

To make matters worse, I was also informed at check-in that does not include breakfast and that there is no parking included—details that were either unclear or poorly communicated.

This experience has completely ruined the beginning of our family vacation. I feel deceived and let down by , and I expect better communication and accountability from a platform I trusted to plan such an important trip. I strongly urge others to reconsider booking through

Property in very poor conditions. Outdated, poor maintenance, missing toiletries and not clean (specially the kitchen drawers). And, on top of that, they allow homeless people to join for breakfast. Had to leave the hotel earlier. Glad that Expedia helped me get a refund of the remainder days.

Excellent location close to an upscale shopping neighbourhood with several dining options nearby. All rooms are suites with a bedroom and a living-room / kitchenette including a microwave and a large refrigerator, giving you the option of cooking your own meals.
The downside of this hotel is that it is in dire need of refurbishing: we had water leakages in the toilet connection to the wall, and on the sink faucets. The walls, floor and furniture show signs of wear and tear. Management is busy in a slow refurbishing project, renovating one room at a time, which accounts for some noise during the day if you happen to be staying close to that room. If you are lucky, you might get one of the renovated rooms. Mind you: we had one of those, but still had the plumbing issues described above.
Service is irregular: some people were helpful, others rude. Apparently they've had little training.
The WiFi signal is weak and inconsistent in most rooms (we heard other guests also complaining). Staff have no clue about how to handle it.
Breakfast is varied but of poor quality: the fruit, cheese, cold cuts and baked products were all of worse quality compared to other hotels we stayed at in Brazil.
The hotel restaurant is much better quality at lunchtime, when it becomes busy with clients working close by; they serve a good buffet including grilled meats and vegetables.

The staff at front desk was awesome.
Housekeeping... leave extra toilet paper will you!?!
Also, one towel per adult is often not enough. Also you do need to leave new soap and shampoo everyday yes.
Breakfast is military time, if you delay you don’t eat. :|
Location is good and the front desk staff are absolutely amazing and very accommodating.

Nice safe neighborhood with food options. Helpful and nice staff, great room with kitchen are and lounge. Breakfast could have had more vegan options, though this is more of a typical thing for this country, rather than hotel specific. I was here on business, and had a great stay. Would come back.

This is my third stay in this hotel and probably I will return there when staying in P.Alegre. I had a very good time and my only complaint is that took 10 days for fixing a problem with the electronic keycard that allow opening the door room. For those who don’t know: Laghetto Vertice has an excellent location, the breakfast is wonderful, it is very clean, the room is absolutely comfortable and the personnel is very attentive

Hotel Laghetto Vertice Manhattan is located in a very clean and high-class area of Porto Alegre. There are many nice bars and restaurants nearby. I had a short stay there and enjoyed it pretty much. The \"Deluxe-Room\" had a nice living room with sofa, TV and kitchen and a separate suite with bedroom and bathroom. Facilities are definitely not new, but everything was clean and fully functional. Minor complaints about the shower, which had very low water pressure, and the pillows, which were not of the expected quality for such a hotel.

It is a good hotel and well located.Our room was spacious,comfortable and clean with a balcony. Breakfast is good the only bad thing was the egg omelet it was cold.

There where fungus and hairs in the bathroom, under the bed full of dirt, they do not clean the rooms nor they care.
The response to the complaint was: on your checkout wright you comments, the hair still there when we left 4 days later.
Stay away from this filthy place,
Foreigners not welcome here.

I still have my money on the maid. I had a bunch of $$ and credit card sitting on the desk and left the room. Saw the maid and asked her to clean my room. When I came back, I went right to bed and to sleep. In the morning when I woke up and was packing noticed I do not have my CC and $$ and looked all over and remembered the last time I saw it was on the desk. Had no proof. So, keep your $$ to yourself just to be safe. or keep it in the safe.

It is my second time here, before it was another chain Hotel, the chance is a little perceived on the quality of the Food at the Restaurant, not at the morning coffee, which is very good.
People make you feel at home with their attention.
Nice people, good experience.
*this is based on BR common behavior.
I would add to the option knowing the case they have a certain type of kitchenette, more inventory like pans to cook, and cookware to enable users to be able to take more advantage of this, for example buy food or reheat food bought at the Restaurant.

Ao realizar o check-in no hotel, a supresa: o hotel estava lotado e fomos acomodados em um quarto de categoria inferior a que foi reservada. O quarto era antigo, velho e muito mal conservado. Além disso, no lugar da cama de casal, tinha duas camas de solteiro lado a lado.
Fiquei muito decepcionado com o hotel, pois paguei por um quarto de categoria superior, com cama de casal e fui acomodado em um quarto inferior.

The property is well located and on the face of it has good amenities but there is 1 major issue and that is noise! If you are a city dweller it might be OK but for someone who lives in the depths of the country the noise that passes through the poorly closing single glazed windows can be bothersome.
Additionally if you are situated on the 13th (top) floor as I was then be prepared to listen to the elevators and a variety of pumps on the roof that will disturb your sleep throughout the night . The best option is rooms on the rear of the building and not on the top floor.

On the plus side the breakfasts are excellent, the rooms are spacious (if a bit dated) and location is very good.

O café da manhã muito bom com bastante variedade. O apartamento era muito bem decorado, bonito, espaçoso, cozinha com acessórios, microondas e geladeira. Cama confortável, chuveiro bom, sinal de wi-fi excelente, TV boa, recepção muito eficiente e solícita. Check in e Check Out rápidos. Biscoitinho de boas vindas. Ponto negativo: arrumação do quarto. Quando a gente chega está tudo arrumado, mas no dia seguinte as camareiras arrumam a cama mas não colocam as almofadas sobre a mesma. Os copos que utilizamos nem foram lavados. Localização é muito boa e agradável, há dois shoppings na região, ponto de ônibus bem próximo do hotel.

A cozinha não era equipada para cozinhar, não foi possível usar o fogão. Havia apenas 2 pratos e 2 xícaras. Não tinha nem material para lavar a louça usada, muito ruim. O controle remoto da televisão da sala não funcionou. O checkout não foi cortês, a funcionária deu mais atenção à sua colega. O atendimento no estacionamento foi muito bom e atencioso.

Ficamos hospedados num quarto antes da reforma (outros andares já estavam atualizados). Apesar de antigo, estava extremamente limpo, todas solicitações foram atendidas (utensílios, toalha extra para a criança entre outros). Foi o check in mais tranquilo que já fiz, e check out rápido, a equipe tanto da recepção quanto da limpeza muito cordial, a estrutura do hotel (piscina e academia) com equipamentos novos, o que possibilitou uma estadia nota 10. Pretendo voltar no final desse ano para aproveitar o quarto renovado (com tvs maiores e smarts).
