Property looks pretty new and everything inside the room are in good condition. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The only downside of this place is that there's no wired Internet, which makes it a little bit inconvenient to me cuz I need stable internet access for work. It's nice to have a 24hr gym and a swimming pool (only until 10pm).

Hotel is good and the room is comfy and big. Metro station was 10 mins walk away and tourist attractions were a few metros away. There is a shopping mall opposite the hotel with a lot of eateries n a supermarket. If u do not mind the distance, it's a good hotel to stay in.

The room was very nice, beds were comfortable. The hotel felt very clean and modern. The breakfast was good. The only negative was that we ordered a glass of wine each (2 different types) and after they had been poured we were told that we would have to buy the bottles as white wine does not last. If we would have known that before we would not have had a drink there as my glass of wine ended up costing me $50.

The hotel was in a handy location next to a shopping mall and some restaurants including a Western restaurant. I don't know if there were any local attractions as we were there on business but it worked well for us.

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! Clean, quiet, staff was excellent and very professional and everyone we dealt with spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious with many western and eastern options. The location was very convenient with plenty of restaurant and shopping options within a few minutes walk as well as the Metro. Awesome experience!!

The HVC system was not good. Our first night, the room temperature only reached 21 degree Celsius. Hotel offered us a different room on the second day, room tempurature stayed at 27 degrees Celsius. There was nothing hotel staff could do. Only thing they could do is offering a fun. We had to keep our room door open a lot of time in order to bring the temperature down. Rather disappointed.

Hotel is equipped just enough for a comfortable stay. The location is brilliant. Close to metro station line 2 and line 15. And surrounded by several big shopping malls. Adequate Restaurants and food courts in the area too. Most importantly hotel staff are all super friendly and helpful. This makes my stay at Hyatt place much more pleasant. I will always come back here while visiting shanghai. Strongly recommend!

Good location in Hongqiao area

Good location in Hongqiao area. I was happy to stay during Typhoon period. The hotel is right next to Hongqiao South Fengcheng shopping mall so its easy to find something to eat also have a supermarket as well as near by convenience stores. It was over all a good and confer stay.

I really like the service and cleaning of the hotel, the breakfast buffet and the people over there was very nice!, also it is in front of a shopping mall, so you have access to shop and eat over there, and it is close to the metro station, so you can transport to everywhere! I really recommend this hotel and if I have to come back to Shanghai I will stay there! Thanks for everything!

The Hyatt can do better!

The hotel is very new, open in Aug 2018; but have huge issues with the AC in the rooms. It's a Central Control AC that links to the office building. The room's temperature I stayed in was 27C, and can't be control individually. The hotel marketed that all rooms has a \"Double Sofa Bed\" for 3rd person stay, but turn out it's less than a size of a single sofa bed. But I have to say all the hotel staff are trying they best to accommodate their guests, and I truly appreciated it. It's not the service rather \"issues\" to be resolved by the Hyatt Management.

Great hotel, room was a bit warm.

Hotel was great overall, my only complaint is that despite being able to program the thermostat to my desired temperature, the temperature wouldn’t actually get down to that temp and it was a bit warm for my liking. This is not uncommon in China but typically foreign hotel chains, especially in Shanghai, do not have this issue in my experience.

Great location!

Great location - right next to a shopping mall with good cafes. 700 m walk to the closest subway. Room was clean, spacious and the breakfast was very nice. Staff was super nice and helpful. Definitely recommended! Wifi not so great for foreign phones but that is common everywhere in China.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and railway station. We were impressed the smooth and professional check in/check out and overall service. The room was modern, clean and the beds were comfortable. Very nice shower room with good amenities. The gym and the pool were very good too. The included breakfast was excellent and the hotel was located in a nice area with shopping malls and parks nearby.

There is nothing worse when coming to a lovely modern hotel and finding you cannot control the room temperature. The room was 26 degrees for my (2) nights stay. The hotel uses centralised air and can't/won't change it. Solution is to give you a fan which really doesn't cut it.

How can this be a Hyatt? How can someone make an arbitrary choice of temperature for 150 rooms? So after a few horrible sleepless stuffy nights I won't be back. This hotel is comfortable in every way, with exception of trying to sleep at night which is the most important part of a hotel. So I say Good Bye!

We stayed at this hotel for one week.It is highly recommended for both business and tourist travels. It is 10 minutes walk to Subway #2. Subway #2 takes you to both Pudong Airport and HongQiao Airport. It also takes you to downtown Shanghai and Pudong business district. Within a one block radius there are 3 large malls with large food courts and numerous restaurants. Each mall also has a supermarket. The hotel is new and very clean. Breakfast is not fancy but has more than adequate choice of food and beverage. The staff is friendly. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. The windows are well insulated so you don't hear outside noise.

It is a brand new hotel, so almost everything looks and feels very good. Three things could make it even better: 1. Reducing bathroom noise; 2. Having a night light; 3. Putting luggages that were stored in the hotel after checking out in a safer place or room.

I spent 3 nights on a suite room at Hyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza, that (1) the sofa bed had a hidden sting sticking out and cut my son's finger when he tried to open the sofa bed; (2) the water supply stopped during the midnight that I could not flush the toilet and I had to take a shower at staff's shower room at the basement level; (3) there is no international television channels, like CNN, which is important to international travelers especially the internet is censored and blocked in China; (4) the swimming pool is not available, a disappointment for kids; (5) the staff tried to do a good job but they need a lot more training and the management seems not so kind to their employees.

Wonderful service, great location, modern and chic decor.

But front desk seem to be short of manpower. Can only see one person there all the time. If more than one guest checks in / out, there could be quite a bit of wait even though I can see that the front desk tries very hard to work as fast as they could. I think they also handle the customer service hotline as well!

There's no stationery items in the room and there's no international TV channels like CNN, BBC etc which can be a bit of a problem for non-Chinese speaking guests who want to keep up with the world news.

The rooms on the 3rd floor are actually on the podium level and has floor to ceiling windows facing the podium which makes privacy a little problem because you have to close the blinds all the time.

Nice Hotel. The hotel's amongst brand new office complex so could be missed if you didn't look close. The taxi's are new to this location so it's not a recognisable hotel location. You might feel like you're the only one here as it is a bit remote, and brand new. In some ways felt like I was the only guest. And it felt like I was in an office building as I walked down the halls. There was no one at breakfast but me in the lobby. But that being said, the hotel was extremely new and clean and quiet. The staff very helpful.

5年ぶりに2泊3日で利用しました。今回は3階フロアの3158部屋で中庭に面しており、窓が開けられない部屋でした。ホテル設備や周辺環境に不満はありませんが、入室した瞬間から部屋が下水臭く嫌な気になりました。1日目はほとんど外出したのでまだマシでしたが、2日目は匂いが気になってリラックスできませんでした。
排水設備なのか、空調なのか、原因が分かりませんが改善をお願いしたいです。
