From initial arrival to my early exit, couldn’t be more satisfied! Came in early from one job to the next, was greeted by the property owner and had delightful conversation. Got to my room and everything I could have asked for was in there. For the value of someone traveling for work, this is the best spot in the area. Clean areas, easy parking and superb room. The bathroom is ultra small. I was told that the TV was a smart TV, and it was not. The worst part and the reason for the poor rating was the Continental breakfast. The bagel and bread where stail. All the food was ice cold. The eggs tasted like cardboard and ice cold. I'll never stay there again. $120 a night.....terrible. I should be refunded a night.

The shower walls and ceiling had black mold everywhere. And it's not really the hotels fault, but there were people that were banging and kicking a door screaming to open the door at 3am, and it went on for quite awhile. I would've thought the front desk would have intervened at some point. Pool was closed. We had a group of teenagers that were very disappointed.

I genuinely wish I was exaggerating. The room we were given had a smoke detector that had been torn out of the wall, wires exposed. When I brought it up, the staff tried to lie and pretend it wasn’t true, even though I had photos and witnesses. Completely unacceptable.

The pool area was disgusting — cloudy water, dirty tiles, and clearly not maintained. The room itself was freezing and didn’t have a microwave, which was shocking for the price we paid. To top it off, there were stains all over the beds. Nothing about this place felt sanitary or safe.

Save yourself the frustration and pick literally any other hotel.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The pool was filthy and clearly not maintained, and our room had a smoke detector that had been ripped off the wall. When I reported it, the hotel tried to lie and act like I was making it up — even though I have pictures, timestamps, and witnesses.

This place is unsafe, dirty, and completely unprofessional. Do NOT give this corrupt, careless hotel your money.

I have always had a nice stay here but I do have a suggestion, when you move a customer from one room to another during their stay due to your mix up, you should probably offer them a discount on the stay. I am someone who unpacks, hangs things up & puts things away so having to pack it all up again, move to a different room & unpack was not convenient at all.

The pool was an ok size and we got lucky enough that our kids were the only ones in there. As far as the rooms—they definitely need maintenance. The shower/bathroom had mold in it, there was only one entrance to the hotel which was frustrating when coming in and out, the room smelled like it had been smoked in and the atmosphere outside—not the hotels fault—was not the greatest. There was a car parked just past the parking lot with the doors wide open, junk falling out, almost wondered if there was someone living out of it. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again for the price we paid just due to the cleanliness.

The front desk staff was usually gone \"stripping rooms\" based on the note at the front desk. The doors to the rooms are hard to close, if you pretty much slam the door and push them hard to make them \"fully\" latch, the doors pop back open. When i went to the lobby for coffee in the morning i counted 6 doors that were partially opened. I had to have 2 remotes for my tv, one to turn the TV on and the volume and one to change the channels. The pool was not secure and whatever chemicals they use were burning our eyes and nose. Our room cards were deactivated while we getting breakfast, which then we had to call for someone at the front desk to come help us because they were \"stripping needs\". Oh and breakfast, hard pass, the sausage patties looked like they were microwaved over and over for the last week. You could use them for hockey pucks. The house keeping left tip envelopes in the room, very tacky and not needed. I will never be back

Absolutely Disgusting! Pubic Hair in the bathroom. The Room had been smoked in by cigar. My guest had a bath in room 219 the plumbing overflow drain leaked to the room below. Extremely Dangerous as lighting wiring is installed in ceiling. The manager confronted my guest and accused him of letting the bath overflow. After inspection it was apparent that there was no water on the floor. It was the plumbing that was disconnected. The next manager accused him again of letting the bath overflow. My guest is lucky he was not electrocuted.

The rooms where manageable & the so called breakfast was terrible. The receptionists were very unfriendly & dismissive. Paid for 3 nights & arrived early at 12noon from Vancouver because I had a hockey game. Asked if I can check in early but they refused, I begged them if I can leave my luggage somewhere until they check me in but they were dismissive & insisted that I pay $50 usd. I pleaded & they later accepted $30 USD & they checked me in. It's not about the money it's just their attitude, very unfriendly. Even after staying for 2 days I went to ask if they have an airport shuttle I can pay for & their response was rude, \"call an uber or lift!\" & the guy just ignored me. I will never recommend this place to anybody.

The property was really old and dusty. The air conditioners could really use a tune up. Be wary when they ask your card for incidentals because we were charged midway through our stay and housekeeping had never been in our room. The morning staff were nice and efficient in helping us solve the problem immediately. Food is rather subpar and the area around the hotel was spotty.

Upon arrival their key card machine was broken. We had to have the front desk open our door for us the whole 2 day stay. Our reserved room was given to someone else ( we checked in about 4:30pm) so we were put a handicap room and the shower had mold and missing grout. The pool was cloudy. The breakfast had cheese omelets that were hard, no regular coffee, all the tables were dirty. The second morning we ate away. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

The pool was out of service with no warning. Would have booked elsewhere if I’d had k own my son was very disappointed. Also room door did not easily close and have to be pulled shut to lock which seemed very sketchy. Overall building was very dated compared to other America inns I’ve stayed at and there were no washrooms for any conman areas. To top it off the flag in the parking lot was tattered do a disappointing state.

Perfect for what we needed

We used the spot as a crash pad between sporting events and it served it's purpose just fine. The front gentleman, Malik, who checked us in at 10pm, was very friendly and said he was just getting ready to call us to make sure we were okay. I thought that was very nice. Overall decent hotel.

Towels definitely needed replacing. They were thin and ratty. We were told housekeeping was every other day. If we wanted clean towels we just had to go to the front desk and they would give us clean ones. Having a couch in our room was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was so so. I had never seen round scrambled eggs.

The people in the next room were very noisy. Had TV blaring until very late Friday and Saturday night. Called the front desk after midnight. They did go and talk to them and they turned tv way down and then turned it off. Lots of doors slamming especially Sunday night. Bed was not that comfortable. Monday breakfast consisted of small I guess you’d call the omelets?? No meat. No cream cheese for bagels. I don’t think we would stay there, again.

After we checked in and the clerk started to make our keys, he stated our room number out loud with other guests standing right next to us! Then when I asked him to write it down, he had to key folio is available. I had to write the room number on the back of a card. Then since there were four of us staying in the room and we asked for additional towels since only three were provided, we were questioned as to why we needed them? We also went to to pool to find that they were using the hallways to store, rollaway beds, ice melt (it’s the middle of summer) as well as caution signs in the pool area itself. We had to share towels at the pool as there wasn’t enough for everyone. In the morning when my husband went down for breakfast, even though breakfast didn’t end for 1/2 hour yet, they refused to put out any more food for those who were not down stairs already.

Staff was rude and in order to get clean towels, you had to take them to the front desk. Other hotels I have stayed at when I stay more then 1 night replace bath towels without have to ask or take your dirty to the front desk to get clean.

My daughter locked our keys in the room and staff acted like we were criminals and made snide remarks when asking for a new card for room. the only door you could go in was the front door as all other doors were locked and did not have a key entry. our room was at the opposite end of the hotel as the main door

I needed a place to sleep so I'm not to upset, but you can see that the hotel is very dated. The bathrooms are so tiny you can hardly turn around and the shower curtain got caught by the dome light in the shower. I was really looking forward to breakfast, but all fot food was gone by 6:30. Also, be aware, there are two floors but no elevator. We had a room adjacent to the front desk and were awoken at 6 by staff loudly playing music. It was a clean hotel, though!

No one at front desk never got my room.

Called hotel midday to let them know i was checking in late due to airline delaying flight several hours. Arrived at hotel about 1:30 am. No one was there at desk. Waited 10 min. Called. No answer. Left voicemail. Waited 10 min called corporate 800 number. They did not get anyone to answer. Waited 10 min then went to Country Inn and Suites and they had desk person. Went to bed. Chatted with hotels.com agent worried desk person was murdered or robbed at Americinn. Took 20 more min till mgr finally responded and called me back. He asked if i was nearby to come back. Said no and i dont want to be billed for the room. Today they refused to credit me. Will never ever book AmericInn again.

The room heater did not work properly. The windows leaked cold air. There was a sheet and a thin blanket on the bed. Two of the pillows were half the size of normal pillows. The full length mirror was taped together as it has been previously broken. The tub surround has been siliconed using a paint brush. And there were medical diabetic stickers on the back of the washroom door. The place needs to be gutted.

Room was ok. Stains on the floor. I’m was cheap, so got what we paid for. Breakfast was pretty gross. Juice machine not in use. They just bought jugs of milk and juice from local grocery store and kept in fridge for communal use. Basically just dry bread and cold tasteless scrambled eggs. Barely anything put out. Breakfast area was dirty. General area of hotel halls dirty.

When you pull in to the property there were abandon cars people living in them it seemed. Abandon carts and junk on the side of the building. As soon as you walked in the front door it smells like people are smoking right there. You walked by rooms and people were fully living in them. The rooms are not what to expect. Outdated, dirty sheets and odor covered with a febreeze plug in. If you want a pool I wouldn’t suggest swimming, adults were wearing full clothing and the water was not clean.
Breakfast was sub par there was barely any selections.
I would spend extra money to stay somewhere else!

The lady at front desk was very helpful and courteous. The room had a very strong wall plug in air freshener and I have allergy issues to strong scents. It made things a little miserable. The lighting was not great in the vanity or entry areas. The location was very nice. We did not use the pool. The pricing is outrageous everywhere right now, so can’t really fault them for high prices.

The room was nice and kept properly. When we tried to check in the woman at the desk was very curteous and told us someone was in our room and she talked about an early check in fee which we didnt mind doing she was nice enough to put us in a different room for a few hours because we had just rode a bus for 13 hours and and didnt make us pay the early fee which we had already agreed to do out of the kindness of her heart the next day a different woman was at the desk and got a little rude about our room still not being ready when we were turning in the key for the temporary room and ended up following us outside about the 25 dollar fee which we wouldve paid anyways becuase we had already prepaid 400 dollars i just dont understand why she had to be rude about it.
