I camp a lot, so making do and rustic is something I live.

This place needs a renovation. Carpet stained and puckered in the hallways and my room. The furniture in the lobby is dingy. Hot tub wasn’t working and they told us the pool was closed in the morning when we went for a swim after seeing people in it the night before. That was disappointing since we were celebrating a birthday and were looking forward to swimming in the morning.

Our room felt damp…the carpet and even the sheets.

You can tell they are trying to clean what should be replaced. So, at least it felt clean-ish….sort of….

If you just need a place to sleep for a night and you’re not too picky, you can make it work. But I don’t think this place is up to normal AmericInn standards. And that’s saying a lot coming from a wilderness camping girl.

The staff are overwhelmed, so you can see this by their cleaning habits. The corners were caked in dust, the carpets were sticky, stained, and ripped. We had to ask for bedding for the couch in order to use it comfortably. Our room stunk. The pool area was disgusting. The hot tub looks like it has never been cleaned. The walls were coated in a brown film. The pool was starting to look the same.
I do not recommend this hotel. And I do not recommend any Wyndham hotels period.

Only rated ok bc had our dog with us and it’s possible that they just let the room go bc it is marked for pets. The room smells of cat urine, lots of stains on lower bed. We travel with our dogs and have only 1 or 2 places worse than this room. Even lamps were crooked and really stained. Bathroom was fine. Really needs needs better cleaning treatments, new bedding, fix the lamps. Really no reason for a pet room to smell or look like this

Would not recommend. Run down, broken microwave, fridge worked off and on. Smelled bad, muggy. We were both congested staying in the room so something was bad in the air. Sign was posted on doors that sprinklers in hotel do not work so be aware in a fire. Did not feel safe. Paid before arrival, wish I hadn’t so I could go to a cleaner hotel.

Staff was amazing, very considerate. I was placed in room 108, and I’m thankful for how easy it was to navigate and load my belongings from the car to the room. The room was very clean, 2 things to point out, was a quarter sized stain on the blanket & the entrance/parking lot was not plowed at all. Pillows were very comfy, bathroom was clean. I wasn’t expecting a fridge and microwave for an affordable room, but very pleased. I absolutely will be coming back very frequently to this hotel. (Again, 10/10 for the employee who check me in/out!!)

The room was not the cleanest. The pool and hot tub were not in working order. There was a sign from the fire Marshall that noted there were no functioning sprinklers in the hotel in the event of a fire. The side door did not work with a key card, and also did not close properly. Ended up having to walk to the front of the hotel to get back in. The front desk agent was very kind, that’s about the only thing this hotel has short of bed bugs and broken furniture.

Stinky, musky rooms. Cereal on the floor, mirror uncleaned, windows left unlocked in both rooms, big bug crawling in the shower, hair in the tub, somebody’s food left in the fridge, uncomfortable beds, No confidence that the rooms were clean or sanitary or vacuum or sheets changed…. I just don’t know. uncomfortable pillows, nasty egg puff rounds and dried out sausage for breakfast, stinky, musty smell in the pool area, tv didn’t pick up any channels so the attendant gave the WiFi passcode to use the internet for shows, just a general over all run down, unkept, unmaintained, uninvested, uncared for hotel. Very surprised at this Wyndham chain for the very low level of management and investment of this hotel. It’s sad. Probably won’t ever stay here again even though it’s right in the place we need to be for family holidays Bummer.

Will not be staying again

First appearance from the parking lot you could tell it was unkempt and not the most inviting. Check in process was easy. Upon entering the king suite room, it smelled HORRIBLE. For a non-smoking room, it was an ashtray. Desk clerk gave a tiny \"air purifier\" for us to use but after a few hrs asked for it back for someone else who also complained. There was only 1 bath towel available (although we were given more when we asked for them). The sofa sleeper mattress should not be considered a sleeping option-so used and uncomfortable. There were different men (one was an employee) sleeping on the lobby couch every morning. Milk during breakfast was chunky although not expired. Yogurt tasted funny. Our room was on the second floor. The window had no screen on it. Looking outside from the window, there was garbage, patio chairs, an area not mowed.

I'll start by saying that the staff people were friendly and helpful. With regard to the facility itself, the lighting was low. Higher output LED lights would have made the experience much better, with little cost to the management. Only one light of two above the sink was lit. On my first night of three, the shower drain was largely plugged. I reported that the next day, and the problem was solved for the next day. The toilet slowly ran water the whole time, which I think should be a concern for the proprietors, who pay for the water usage. A pool of water eventually appeared around the toilet. Service of the rooms is minimal. It appears to be limited to replacement of used towels and washcloths (this is not due to the workers there, who receive their instructions from management). One of the electrical outlets under the desk/table was dead. Overall I would have expected a much better experience from what I had expected to be a classic US motel. I'll consider staying there again solely for the fact that it's very conveniently located for the places in the vicinity that I want to visit. On the other hand, for my next visit to the area I'll definitely be looking at other lodging.

Checking into the hotel, they asked for my driver's license, suddenly I noticed they were taking a picture on a personal cell phone. The attendant was very apologetic and kind about it and and said that it was unfortunately due to their printer not functioning currently, therefore he took pictures of ID's and then used his email from his phone to email the company email address. He was more than willing to delete the image from his phone in front of me, but that didn't rid it from his personal email account in the sent folder.

The room was in poor condition, a patched hole in our shower surround, spackled wall above the shower surround, stretched out carpet in the room. The bed was worn, as I could feel a sinking spot in the mattress where it has been used.
