The overall rating is probably a 3.5. Everything is pretty good for this area regarding the outside property and inside the property. It’s really just what I’ve been exposed to elsewhere that it seems like it’s down a bit. For example the Staff didn’t always have a smile on their face and were not so eager to help. This breakfast was not one of my favorites experienced at an Embassy suites. The bottom line is it is a really good hotel, it is just not the best of Embassy suites I’ve ever stayed at. But considering the area in Minneapolis and the price it is about a 3 1/2 star hotel, and you’ll get what you pay for.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean. In fact we had a very big room
I was given vouchers to spend at the bar but it became unavailable. I also saw some visible wear and tear on the furniture in the lounge area in the front room of the hotel .
But it was a great experience.

Room was bit outdated but clean. The sofa seem like it is wearing off and noted the tears. Bathroom overall was clean but the toilet paper holder is old and falling off the wall. Room was spacious for family of 4, breakfast was good, especially the fresh omelette station. Will consider future stay though place need upgrade

The room was shabby - the chair was torn and the sofa was worn out too. Second night of our stay all three of our keys were not working - we had trouble getting into the hotel and into our room. All keys had to be replaced.
The breakfast area was very lean and the breakfast was excellent.

This location did not match up with other Embassy Suites. Staff was very friendly, but the room we had needed a complete overhaul. The couch had tears and holes, the drapes were in shreds, there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom that had been covered with clear caulk, and pieces of tile were missing in the shower. The breakfast was very disappointing. Couldn’t cut the waffles, they broke in pieces and tasted like styrofoam, the oatmeal was empty and we were told they wouldn’t make anymore. I won’t be booking this one again.

My room was not really clean. When I got there the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling, the sink was clogged. After maintenance fixed the sink he left a mess behind. My room did not get cleaned while I was there. I had to pickup the room, and remove the dirty towels. I was not impressed at all.

Rooms were outdated, but clean. Evening managers reception was nice, only if you like beer and cheap wine. You got 2 free drinks. Restaurant was closed, but bar food was available, which was very good. Front desk was pleasant.

We had a great room on the 8th floor! Great view with the City's skyline! We ate supper at the restaurant and the food and service was great! The free breakfast was outstanding with an omelete made right before you. Things we didn't take advantage of were the two free drinks during happy hour and a pool and hot tub. The price was reasonable considering how nice the property was.

Our stay was overall pretty mediocre. The room itself was spacious, which we appreciated, and the lobby was inviting with a welcoming staff.

The pool area, however, was a big downside. It felt dingy and not very comfortable, especially as a parent who spends a lot of time in pool areas. There were only a handful of chairs, and it would really benefit from having tables and maybe a few loungers.

My biggest concern was that non-guests were clearly using the pool. While we were there, multiple people came to the outside door and knocked to be let in. A guest inside kept letting them in, and they came in with bags and used the bathrooms to change. At one point, there were easily an additional 15–20 kids in the pool area, which made it overcrowded and frustrating.

On a positive note, the included breakfast was great- especially the omelette station, which was a nice touch.

My stay was excellent, great bar and staff, happy hour and then wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Now the bad part, my car got broken into and tools stolen out of it. So did 15 other cars there. The security cameras and lighting were absent. Never in a million years did I think my plain Nissan Rogue would get broken into at a 4-5 star hotel. But, it happened and I think the hotel needs to be accountable for better security.

Overall good stay, but were playing in a volleyball tournament this weekend. Started at 8am both days, and they DO NOT offer breakfast prior to 7:30 am this really was sad since we had to be at the facility to warm up by 7:30. SO we had to spend more money on finding breakfast somewhere else. Also they said when we got there the AC did not work and projected temp the next day was 78.

We were told upon arrival that the hotel was without air conditioning and it wouldn't be fixed until Monday. We should have taken that as our chance to change hotels. The room was comfortable at first but got warmer through the afternoon evening. No fans were available when we checked later in the evening. The happy hour snacks had been attacked by the many kiddos running through the building so we were lucky to dig out a few gold fish and some pretzel mix from the snack containers. The chips and salsa and fruit bowls were left with just crumbs. We then went to the pool and there were so many people in the pool my kids didn't stay long and wanted to try again in the morning. After breakfast we went upstairs to change into swim suits and came back down to find a sign on the door that it was closed until further notice. We went back up stairs and packed up and left. No one was at the counter when we waited to leave so we ended up dropping the keys on the box and leaving. We are willing to pay the little extra for Embassy Suites but this time was a real disappointment.

The hotel definitely needs to be fixed up. Replace carpet, fix damaged walls, countertops, etc. I have stayed here a few times in the last 2 years and it’s getting worse. The area is pretty quiet. Not much in the way of amenities. Rooms are clean. Staff is never very friendly. It’s an ok place if you need to be in that area otherwise I would go elsewhere.

Breakfast was great. Omelettes were delicous. Staff was ok. Pool was clean and hot tub was clean and hot. Fitness center was nice and used this daily. The evening reception was nice but on day two we did not get this offered to us due to the snow storm. Brooklyn Center is not the best area and this is not the typical super fantasy Embassy but worked for us. Thank you for the nice stay!

Room was clean enough but facility on the whole is tired. Hallway to room looked like it needed a vacuum. Breakfast was great. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Another nice stay at the property. Easy, convenient parking is a plus. The fact that it's dog friendly is a major reason we stayed. The fee wasn't exorbitant.

Everything was clean and so spacious! And, my dog, Marvin, was welcomed and happy (he loves riding elevators).

I would make two recommendations for the shower in the bathroom. The metal strip to step over into the shower is sharp and can scrape a foot unaware of it. And, women need a hand-held attachment!! A wall attachment has NO angle at which to wash and rinse our private parts!! More hotels should pay attention to this AND advertise it! It was the only thing disappointing about my stay.

The hotel was centrally located for what we were looking to attend. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff was quite friendly. Unfortunately, we had to leave before we could enjoy the breakfast, but I’m sure that would’ve been great as well.

This Embassy Suites does not have the signature open balcony overlooking space in the middle. It appears to have been another hotel at some point. It is still a very nice property, just not a traditional Embassy Suites layout

Our thermostat was broken so we were freezing all night and didn’t sleep well. We had a leak in our ceiling, picture attached. The breakfast was cold and things didn’t get filled very quick so we had to go have breakfast somewhere else, the pool was closed Monday morning so the kids couldn’t swim. Also we didn’t have a blanket for the pull out which we didn’t know until bedtime and it was like an hour before we got one, we were told housekeeping wasn’t available and to go down to the desk, when we got there they said they had no blankets, we finally did get one much later.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! It is NOT SAFE!! I stayed here for a business conference for two nights. When I returned from dinner, my key cards no longer worked. Upon having new keys made and returning to my room, I found it was burglarized while I was away. Reception told me that only staff would have had access. My bag was gone through and thousands of dollars worth or property were taken. The manager all but accused me of taking my own things, saying only my keys were used to enter the room. In conversing with colleagues, I learned I was not the only one whose room was entered and who had things stolen. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Nice place

Beds and bedding were very comfortable, room was clean. There were several light bulbs burnt out, and was hoping for charging ports of some sort. Continental breakfast was great!
