Avid is my go to place when I travel to Roseville. It's clean and the staff is great and very accommodating.
Jill
Room clean and well stocked. Parking good. Breakfast was good.
I guess what I saw was hallways were not cleaned up. The breakfast area didn't have an attendant so there were a lot of paper products on the floor, cereal spilled, and messy around food dispensers. Tables not washed between usage.

Our stay was okay. Our king room was super small. The mini fridge is a mini mini fridge and not very cold. The towels were thin and hard. The air conditioner was extremely loud. It was clean and comfortable otherwise. The towels bothered me the most. The staff were super nice which made up for some of the shortcomings.
Tim
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate for what was supplied.
What I didn't like was that fact that we came back to our room on our last night to find the door ajar. Cleaning supplies were left on the bathroom sink area. Totally felt this was quite concerning. Seemed like person doing the cleaning seem to leave in a hurry and did not finish her/his job thus leaving the door ajar. Rather displeased by this issue. Reported to front desk and

The lobby was brightly decorated and comfortable. Good coffee

Staff was kind. The place was not clean though; we lacked towels, hand soap, body soap, toilet paper (after calling requesting them) I had difficulties at night since A/C-heat system was always running and could not be regulated. We had to go to a different hotel mid-week.
Linda
We had a very nice stay! The gals at the desk were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was so nice! It was nice to have a spacious parking lot. I will encourage people to stay here!

Off to a bad start when I was given a room that was not ready. When I went back to the desk the clerk was not there
After a twenty minute wait, he finally returned. gave me a new room. The rest of the visit went well. and I was satisfied. This happened on a Sunday afternoon which may explain the staffing issue.

Check-in be busy and slow.Np regular COKE.Room was very bright.

Bathroom needed to be cleaned better. Bath towels & mat should have been available without asking.
Front desk staff, at checkin, should have directed us to our room, informed us about the available breakfast, and what time checkout was.
Front desk staff, that evening, was helpful in supplying the missing towels & mat.
I did not have breakfast.
Parking was convenient & plentiful.

I have stayed at Avid (3) times during the past year. The hotel was always clean & comfortable. The most recent stay was a disappointment however. Upon checkin, we were not directed to our room nor informed about any continental breakfast. Our room did not have any bath towels nor bath mat. The bathroom floor and shower floor did not appear to have been cleaned recently.
Overall, the hotel is acceptable, but based on my last experience, there are better options.

Overall our stay was good. Nice hotel, was clean, was very surprised at how small our room was. We had a king bed room and that’s about all that could fit. We also had issues with either someone in the room next to us or some other guests putting their food garbage outside our door. This happened twice in the two nights we were there. We came back from a day out and there was an empty pizza box and a plastic bag with garbage in it sitting in front of our door. Also, about 5:15 both Saturday and Sunday mornings, there was something going on our on the hallway that woke both my husband and I up. Sounded like doors constantly being opened and closed.
We booked a room for two guests, we had one towel, no wash cloths, our bed and pillows looked like someone had laid in them prior to us getting in our room.

We got to stay here while we had an appointment at The University of Minnesota (6 min away. The only issue was Expedia said the dog fee was $25. The hotel charged me $75 and would not honor the Expedia pricing - even though it was still on the Expedia listing.
I also wish the place had EV charging- but we knew it did not ahead of time.

The breakfast was good. Coffee was excellent. Parking was great. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. When we arrived, our room did not have towels. When I went to the front desk to ask for towels I don’t think the gentleman believed me. Took a long time to get them.

Everything was great

The room was clean, but small. Breakfast was a disappointment because the food wasn't replenished when it was gone.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast

Very nice hotel room and very clean. Only complaint was the HVAC system was extremely loud and aggressive for the size of the room.
Patricia
I saw no gym.

Karen
Yes. The room was clean and the staff courteous and helpful. The \"energy saving\" features seemed contrived. The bedside lights that blinked when turned on during the day were annoying and did not account for lighting needs. Also having the bathroom light on a motion sensor made nighttime trips to the bathroom jarring and the light streaming into the room made sleeping hard. There were no extra towels.
Randy
Breakfast hours were great. Appreciated having breakfast open at 6:30 AM each day. Fitness room was very good. Guest rooms were cramped and limited clothing storage space. Pet fee of $75 per night is ridiculous and unjustified. Based upon the ridiculous pet fee it would be difficult for me to recommend your hotel.
Carl
It was clean and OK
Krystal
Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room wasn’t cleaned well, small pieces on floor, windowsill & desk area—also, hair in shower (obvious hair, not like one piece)
Mary-Lynn
We saw the reviews for this hotel at a 9.2 thinking it would be great. Hard no. The rooms are ridiculously tiny, and not clean! There were marks from drink glasses or whatever on the desk and the night stands. We had a light that was flickering and when someone finally came they just handed us a lightbulb. The staff member when we checked in was not very knowledgeable. He was friendly but that’s about it. He charged us an extra charge that we were never told about, which I think was a hold or something on the room but came through as a charge. We booked for 4 nights but checked out after one night because we were so uncomfortable. It’s also on the highway so it is super noisy. I hate to leave a bad review but we were suckered in by “great” reviews. Still also waiting for the hotel to refund us for the extra nights and the mystery charge!
Lauren
Very courteous staff. Clean, comfortable room. Minimalist design of room and furniture that added to ability to keep the room well kept up.
Wendy
Room was clean. Staff took time to wait on me but very pleasant when waited on us.

Very nice hotel. Convienent dining nearby! In a nice quiet neighborhood.
Donna
breakfast was meddiocre. There were no washclothes. Other than that it was excellent.
Jeremy
Breakfast was lower than average compared to similar hotels. Fewer hot options, and hot options were far from fresh, even just an hour into the service time. Sausage patties were somehow cold and hard.
David
Clean room,courteous staff,excellent experience

Convenient location for us. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
Vesna
The room worked for what i needed for. My big barker bed for my dog fit in the long size bed room. She had a spinal tap. The room has comcast, a mini fridge.
The cons: the room could have been cleaned better. There’s dirt left over in the corners. I had asked for my body wash to be refilled but the guy at the front desk didn’t let house keeping know. The desk and chair in my room were previously damaged. For a 5 year olhotel it does show more signs of wear.

Nice options for breakfast

Tracy
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and modern. The coffee was great!
Linda
I liked the hotel. It’s sort of European in style. Rather than a closet it had hooks which I thought were great.
Like many hotels now, they may have been short of cleaning staff or at least we’ll trained ones. But the room itself was very clean.

Just needed a quiet, safe place to stay that was clean and simple. Lots of places to sit in the lobby. Left another atrocious hotel to stay here.
Kellen
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Avid Hotel Roseville. It’s in a great location, there is a parking lot which is a big bonus. Upon checking in we were greeted, and the front desk staff was kind & knowledgeable. We got a king size bed, the bed & room was cozy, the aesthetic was very modern. The breakfast options were also very good. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked our next trip with them. We would recommend this hotel.
Christopher
This hotel is quiet, modern and has great blackout blinds if you need them like I do. It was a very quick drive to the University of Minnesota St Paul campus which is exactly what we needed (we were expelled from the house for floor refinishing). There are restaurants close by but they require a drive. Complimentary breakfast could have been better but at least it was there. I would stay there again.
David
Breakfast was mediocre...old fruit, nothing for toast[bread!] cereal was flavored sugared except for oatmeal. Hot water machine sometimes worked.
clock in room missing lights so a 6 or 8 was a guess.

Clean room bad breakfast experience
Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was a disaster. No coffee, very minimal offerings of food, brown bananas, and had to ask for breakfast sandwiches to be made, which were then cold inside.
This was my second stay at this location. Breakfast during my first stay 3 months prior, was great and very much the opposite of this review. It went downhill greatly in that short amount of time, which is sad.
Not sure if I’ll consider it for a third stay the next time I’m in the area.

It was a little run down. Items were broken. There was a stain on a chair.
Carl
Good place to hang your hat
Vents need cleaning, also bath vent seems to be to small or not working, beds are to soft, but they had a good breakfast
Tim
It was nice. Price was reasonable and worked out great for what we needed.

Clean hotel
Decent hotel for the price! Small room but that was fine. Only negative was the bathroom light is motion activated so it’s super bright at night.
Steve
The hotel is a clean, somewhat inexpensive option. The room was small, but included an iron and small fridge. Towels were changed daily. Staffing seemed a bit bare boned and not overly friendly. While the breakfast option included name brand breakfast sandwiches, a nice change of pace from normal hotel \"free breakfast\", there was no unflavored coffee creamer available and the fresh fruit often looked anything but.
Filomena
Amazing service and comfortable

I’ve traveled a lot for work over the years and stayed at a lot of different properties. This was my first time at Avid and I was very impressed by how updated and clean everything was.
Most hotels I stay at always have something small that’s not a huge deal but it is an annoyance, like outlets that don’t work or not enough surfaces for your suitcase and bags. They’ve thought about the details.
I was pleasantly surprised with my first stay. I’ll definitely add this to my list for future visits.

Bed was a 10/10!
VERY comfy bed and a clean, well designed room! Was super dog friendly and the pet fee was less than 7 out of the 9 hotels we stayed at on our cross country road trip. They were also very accommodating for late check out which is normally 11am but we stayed until noon. Free breakfast and the coffee bar was excellent. For the price vs. other comparable hotels in the area, you can’t beat this place! Super convenient location as well.
Ehsan
Breakfast very limited. Pork only protein offered.
